The Best Buy sales associate highly recommended this machine and he knew exactly what he was talking about because this washing machine has been surprisingly perfect in every box on my ultimate washing machine check list. It's super quiet and it doesn't need to be constantly balanced like a front loading machine. It's the perfect height and size to load laundry and I love the self closing door so it never gets slammed like other top loading machines. Also it's nice to have a clear top so you can see your clothes actually getting cleaned and you don't have to guess if the machine is actually doing it's job or not... Last but not least the machine is energy efficient and yet it still has every cycle you would ever need plus the digital screen makes for easy load setting! Excellent machine and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for the perfect washing machine!

Read reviews on LG washer and discussed with other customers looking to buy a washer/dryer who were also looking at the same washer before buying. We were replacing a Maytag set we had for 17yrs but were unable to get replacement parts. Works fine so far, does as stated. We purchased the extended warranty due to all the electronics and the great price from Best Buy.

I love this machine and the design. It is quiet, and washes very well, at least this is the feeling so far. Unfortunately I realized that if you add garments after the cycle was started, (while the "Add Garments" light is still on) the machine fills the whole tub with water, almost 35 gallons even if in the tub we had 6 towels only. This behavior was repeated every time we added something after the cycle was started and you feel like crying when you see the tub filling with so much water, to the top of the tub....else if you do not add garments ths machine is lovely...it is like a show to watch it...and I love it. We look forward to buy a dryer, same brand, to complement the washer...

We purchased this washer in 2015 and just most recently it is becoming a problematic machine due to UE code. You have to be watchful on what kind of clothes you put in and definitely can't wash a large load even though it is a 4.2 cu ft. Washer. I am considering to replace.

This washer works as described. It is quiet and cleans the clothes.

No issues from day 1. Clothes look and smell clean. Quiet operation.

It is difficult to get used to a High Efficiency washer when you first get it. But, I have used several different settings, altered water temperatures and even unbalanced a load to test it. I am pleased to say that the machine has passed all of my tests including balancing the load again without any error message. It sounds different than the old machines, but is not especially loud. The spin cycles really do dry the laundry allowing the drying cycles to be shorter. The machine does not "walk" during the spins either. The laundry is getting clean with less soap and water than with the old conventional machine. I am pleased so far.

Works Well. Quiet. Water And Electric Efficient. Worth The Price.

You can't drain if you soak something after paused cycle. Then it spins during load sensing and the drum bangs the sides. The load sensing takes some time and it's annoying to wait on it to begin. Seems to do a good job on smaller loads, but can handle pillows as there is no agitator to suck the pillows down into the water. They require rewashing.

Love this washer! We actually went to Best Buy to purchase a different washer but after talking to a Best Buy associate we changed our minds. Boy are we glad. This washer uses less water and senses load levels. I love how quiet it is.

The washing machine is great. It is excellent on getting the clothes clean. It conserves water. The control panel is great. The completed washing cycle chimes when it is finished which is nice. The salesperson was very nice and informative on the product knowledge. The delivery people were very nice and the delivery was made on time as promised.

Bought this because it was affordable and got good reviews. I have not regretted it. The self balance feature is great, it runs quiet, and cleans clothes fantastically. Clothes come out partially dry because it spins so fast. Great washer.

Bought as a set to replace old washer and dryer. This unit is much quieter and more energy efficient. Tons of features. Very little motion and able to wash all of our items. No center agitator so you can wash a quilt with no problem

Easy to use from the start. Very quiet. Very easy to operate.

It's a great washer with an affordable price. I used to bring my clothes to my parents house to do my laundry due to the lack of space in our apartment size washer. It would take me 6 loads to finish all of my clothes. When I eventually move to my new home, I did the same amount of clothes and it only took me 3. It uses barely amount of water and my electrical bill has barely gone up. Another great feature is that it plays a song when your load is done, so I know exactly when to transfer my clothes. I used the best buy card and got 24 month financing with 0% interest. Great purchase for people who have families and need to wash a lot of clothes.
