We originally purchased the 3.6 cubic before and it emitted a very high frequency pitch. LG and their servicer were a joke. Best Buy replaced the first one and when the second did the same thing, they replaced it with the larger one. It works great, the spin cycle partially dries the cloths so I save with my dryer too. The features are good, just the right ones for what we need. I have 2 kids and a husband, I do laundry about everyday and have no complaints. The only thing I recommend that I didn't get was a protection plan from Best Buy, LG customer service and the company they use for service just suck.

We have only had this washer about a month but we have been very pleased with it so far. We decided to go with this brand/model based on other positive reviews.

My last washer was a Samsung front loader and was nothing but trouble. The second repair turned out to be futile. The repairman recommended this model for brand and the fact that it is a top loader

We purchased this washing machine after it received the top rating from a leading consumer reporting group. It's very efficient, love that it has no center agitator, and that it does a fantastic job of wringing out clothes, unlike my previous washing machine.

It has been a couple of months and my wife and I are very happy with this machine. Quiet, efficient, relatively easy to use. Cleans well. Excellent value for the money.

While this washer has many special feature for various special circumstances, it is very easy to operate for basic washing, which constitutes 99% percent of our use. It is quiet and has the capacity for very large loads, but it also efficiently handles smaller loads. Items washed are thoroughly spun and hold very little water when the cycle is complete, which allows them to dry more efficiently.

Recently moved into a house that needed a washer and dryer and this machine fits the bill. It does an excellent job, is quiet, and has a large capacity. Great machine

I picked this washer after a friend suggested it to me. I am very happy with this washer. It is big enough to do comforters and large loads! Very happy I chose a front load after having a side loader for many years.... So much better!

This is a nice washing machine - we are very happy so far. The lack of agitator allows a lot more clothes to fit. Several cycle types for different loads. I will admit it occasionally gives the unbalanced error and cannot correct itself, and other times it takes a long time for a load because it is trying to balance itself by adding water and re-spinning, so that is annoying, but that has only happened 2-3 times the first few months we've had it. Overall, we still recommend!

I was replacing a front loading Maytag set as they were too big for our laundry room once we moved. I have not experienced any issues that others have seemed to have and would recommend the set. I only use the "quick wash" and set it for the "heavy dirty" load. washes the clothes great, all comes very clean. Quite washing was important to me since we do not have a door on our laundry room and this one is very quite. The tub is deep and holds lots of laundry but can be an issue for someone shorter than 5'4". I'm that height and I can just reach the bottom. I find that I just spin the tub around a little and can reach them all. keep a small step stool handy if you are shorter.

I used to have a front loader and now I have a top loader and it's great except for washing towels or blankets, it likes to come unbalanced and it can't seem to fix itself and causing the washer to use more water, but overall it's a great washer.

I was not happy about having to purchase this washer as my previous washer was only 5 1/2 years old. Yuck! After reading reviews and talking with the repair guy who said from his experience that top load washer have fewer repair than front loaders, I decided to switch from a front loader back to a top loader. What a good decision that was. I love this washer. It can hold about twice what my front loader held and get the clothes cleaner. My whites are now white again. I also love the setting for bulky items for washing sheets and comforters. I would highly recommend this washer.

So far, so good. We haven't had any problems with the washer itself. It has gone out of balance a few times, and I've had to pull out the laundry and balance it myself because the washer's solution to re-fill with water and spin doesn't always work.

We bought both a washer and dryer at the same time. This LG washer is extremely quiet and economical. Very easy to understand and use the features you want.

A very good machine for the price. Provides various options. A bit difficult pulling clothes out of machine if you are short, but not a big deal at all. Relatively quiet machine.wish it came in other colors, but do not regret getting it at all.

I love my new LG washing machine. Washes more clothes at a time. Cleans clothes excellently, and makes no noise.

I was very concerned about the minimal movement of the washer during wash cycle, as I was used to the quick agitation process of the older model. I even went back to Best Buy and talked with a sales person. And it seems the cycles all take longer than my old washer did. But all in all, the clothes come out clean and the stainless tub remains nice and bright. Although it's located in a room adjacent to the kitchen, I can't here it when it's running because it is so quiet. I am very happy with the washer and would recommend it to anyone in the market to improve their washday experience.

My front loader broke. I wanted top loader due to water settling on the bottom of the washer. Top loaders don't have this problem. This LG cleans as well as my GE front loader and spin dries the clothes so well that I don't use the dryer as much.

We went in to buy only a replacement dryer but after reviewing the washer we decided on buying the set. I absolutely love this washer! It has so many options and it works so amazingly well. The set is unbeatable for the price and performance!

This washer has saved so much time for me. Sure it takes a long to wash but I only need to use it once a week instead of four. Does a great job and when the load is done - it's almost dry.
