Went to various major appliance stores and all sale clerks gave it a good review without me asking about the machine. I was able to price match for a great price at Best Buy and so far I'm really happy with the buy. It's efficient, smaller than a regular toplad washer, but with bigger capacity without the bulkyness of the top/front load washers. Very satisfied.

I was home for a couple weeks from a deployment and my other washer wouldn't spin the clothes ..... I picked this LG only because of the reviews. I didn't care if it was a 2 dollar part needed to fix it. I wasn't spending anything on it. I didn't want to leave another piece of garbage with my family while I was gone. I probably washed 10 loads in the LG before I left for Afghanistan and this unit is amazing. My only problem is that it does a much larger load and my old dryer now has a problem keeping up. I'm just too cheap to throw out the old dryer. At this point I am completely satisfied with this washer and the LG brand. I can't see going back to the other brand ever.

This washer allows me to catch up quickly on laundry and drying time is minimal due to excellent drain/spin cycle. Highly recommend!

I would recommend this washer to anyone that has a busy life and needs to get things done quickly it's an awesome machine.

It may look funny but this is a great product. Everything you would like on a washer and dryer. We are very happy with our choice.

Owned for 18 months. It keeps filling with water and going through rinse/spin cycle to try to rebalance itself, wastes water, and takes 2-3 times as long as a wash cycle should. When severely unbalanced it will stop and you can manually rebalance, but this is <10% of the time. This keeps going and going and going... there are many similar reports on consumer report website. Repair by LG 50-75% of the cost of the cost of the unit because warranty is only 12 months. And it's now discontinued. Good thing, because I would tell you to avoid this washer at all costs.

Nice washer, cleans well, and takes big loads. Energy efficient.

We recently had to replace our aging LG front loader washer and one of the primary requirements was the ability to handle our queen size comforter. Not only does this washer exceed that requirement it also has other features like tub clean that our older LG washer was missing.

I researched washers on Consumer Report and this model was highlighted as excellent for the money in its category. Glad I bought it. I am very satisfied with its performance, although I would like to be able to change some of the features of specific settings (i.e. water temperature for some cycles); however, I would still buy it again.

Had this washer and dryer before. Never had any issues with it and ex-wife demanded to take them so I bought another set
