I'm not sure what the design goal was here...this machine has all sort of buzz marketing words and features. I have found that many settings leave our clothes a wrinkled mess that aren't always clean. I believe the end result has been compromised to save a gallon of water, yet it seems to have to run for a longer period of time which is using electricity. I have had to rewash many soiled articles. Be careful with your delicates. I have to fluff in dryer or iron many items I was able to hang up previously. Was this tested by women and mothers? I doubt it.

Be sure to read everything before operating and you should have no problems with this machine. Very well designed and operates with a minimum of power and water.

I used to think that it was my fault that my clothes were not coming out clean. I know differently now. This washer does a wonderful job cleaning my clothes and I especially love the soak cycle!

After hearing numerous negative opinions regarding front loading washers, we decided to go with top loading machines that had all the functions of a front loading pair. We were mostly interested in this set because of the front facing controls. This is an excellent washer for the money. The washing capacity is huge, and doesn't contain an agitator, so clothes don't wear out as quickly as they do with typical top loading units. So many great features come with this machine. For starters, before each wash cycle it automatically detects the size of the load, and then uses the appropriate amount of water accordingly, which is great for our water bill. Another nice feature is the door automatically locks once the cycle begins. The soft close lid is great for safety, and the detergent/softener drawer allows us to just set it and forget it. There are tons of cycle options, it's extremely quiet, and our clothes come out smelling exceptionally fresh! The delivery men even installed it for us free of charge! If you're interested in a front loading Washer and Dryer, but don't want to deal with the headache, this set is an excellent alternative.

Space age machine with bells and whistles. Squirts water at the clothes and cleans with less stress and noise/vibration than my conventional machine.

This is super larger. What use to take me 3 loads now takes 1. The spin dry gets things so dry the drying time is less. I love not having to pick the load size. Only thing I worry about is things not getting super super clean without the old school center adjutator in it but right now it seems ok.

Love Love Love it. I did not think I would like without the agitator but I have so much more room in the drum of the washer. Washed a queen size comforter in it with no problem.

You will love this washer! Beautiful stainless steel drum. The lid is great. It's very light weight. Just let it go and it doesn't slam shut. The lid also has a drop feature in fromt that you open when not in use so it airs out and you don't get that musty smell like front loaders. can also leave soap/softner dispenser open (it's inside) so it airs out too, so no mold growth like in the front loaders. Lots of cycles and special features. If you forget something, you can pause and add items,

I bought it together with the matching drier only about a month ago , so it is kind of difficult to comment about the durability and reliability but I can say some pros. and cont. after this month and how In last 10 years I had 3 sets of washer/drier. So, pros. overall is a quiet mashine, just when it takes water is noisy, very spacious (just if you are not so tall is a problem to take out the cloths..), the drop feature on the lid is awesome, you will see how practical is when you don't use the mashine, you can let to dry the drum inside, air circulate so in time don't get smelly. other pros. is that all cycles are shorter then at my previous mashine and has extra features (like extra rinse, extra softner and else). Like cont. is that sometime really need to use an extra rinse.. I'm not sure if I do something wrong (to much load, or not the right program) but some spots of detergent remain in. Just One more thing, before you use it first time, do not forget to level it right, otherwise will move at the spinning. Overall is a good mashine, I recommend it if you get a good price.

Love this washing machine! So far I seem to be more and more impressed with every wash. Also bought 3 months ago and have yet to find a better deal on it!

This LG waster has extra large capacity and is directly driven by a electric motor without any belts. This also senses the weight of the clothes for optional water savings

Have had this washer for over 6 yrs and haven’t had any issues. Although sometimes I feel that the washer doesn’t put enough water into it for washing.

Quiet while running. Clothes come out clean and they are not soaked with water when transfering to dryer. The capacity is amazing going from 3 loads of laundry (with standard washer) down to one.

This is a great washer and dryer set! We still haven't been able to fill the washer to the top to do a big load. There is so much room without the agitator. We are very happy with this purchase.

Needed the dependability of our old Maytag. After reading reviews from different sites, LG seemed to be what our Maytag was when we first purchased it. Price was to good to pass up from shopping around different sites. We got on a sale and Best Buy had the price, we couldn't pass on. We also got the Maytag at Best Buy. Did a store pickup, got it home, very simple set up. The machine has a self balancing for the tub itself in the cycle warm up, which is pretty neat. Wife actually read instruction manual to operate correctly to the way she wanted. End of story, that simple. Clothes do come out cleaner than before and damp only after spinning cycle. I like most don't want repairs or malfunctioning equipment. Too expensive even with sale prices to make mistakes on things I could've done, like reviews and looking to play the percentages on dependability and user friendly. Haven't had long but so far it seems to living up to its reviews..

This machine replace a 14 year old Kenmore. The LG is quiet uses less water and has done a great job of cleaning our clothes.

This is the best machine I have ever used, period! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something way above the norm!!!

This Samsung Washer Is about the best your Money can buy, along with it's Awesome looking features. The Family is very Satisfied with this Model of Samsung Washers.

This washer worked fine for about a week. No complaints. 9 days after delivery, it flooded the laundry room. Water was pouring out of screw holes in the back of the unit. There was an error code saying that our water pressure was to low. I checked the flow, it was fine, filter was clear. Apparently there was a sensor problem that caused it to think it wasn't filling up, which caused it to overflow. We called LG customer support. I'm normally pretty good at understanding accents, but this woman mumbled so badly that I couldn't have understood her even without an accent. She seemed disinterested in the fact that water was coming from a hole on the oppposite side of the washer from the drain, far away from the hoses, and almost a foot above the bottom. She walked me through the emergency spin / drain cycle, proving that the pump was OK. The problem came when she thought we were done and she recommended using the washer as usual. I'm sorry, but there was water in a part of my electrical appliance that should not have water in it! She said if it did it again, I should call back. I was so frustrated with her that I gave up and decided to give it a shot. Lo and behold, it did it again. When I called back, I got someone who would have been slightly easier to understand, if it wasn't for the worlds worst phone she was using. She seemed equally unconcerned with my problem, and pretended to schedule an appointment with a repair service for Monday at noon. I say pretended to schedule it, because on Monday, at around noon, a service called to tell me they could be out Wednesday afternoon. It would now be almost a week without a washer. We decided that rather than take our chances that they wouldn't replace the entire thing since it had had an foot of water inside the cabinet, that we would just exchange it at Best Buy. Best Buy rocked, and did a great job of putting things right.

This is a great washer. At the beginning of each wash, it balances the load and figures out how much water to use. It has a very powerful spin that gets most of the water out of the clothes, which saves dryer time. It is a really quiet machine, even the end of cycle (unless you are in the room with the washer, you won't hear it). I've only had one small stain on clothes since I got this washer, and it got it out on the first wash, which was really nice. It is a high efficiency washer, so you have to use special detergent and softener. It's not a deal breaker for me, but be aware that regular detergent should not be used in this machine. You also have to use a monthly cleaner on the machine which isn't a hardship either. This is a great washer. I would even recommend it to my mom.
