Love this washer and dryer makes me want to do laundry

I Love It! The tube is so huge. Looks awesome! Fun

Great experience washing all kings of clothes, save energy, water and detergent.

Overall pretty happy replaced a 9 year old front loader and like this unit better.

It has alot of great features for every load of laundry. Easy for the kids.

What else can I say beside a machine that does well it's own job?

If you are 5'2" or less, you will have a hard time reaching the inside of the machine. When the clothes are done I have to stand on a step stool to reach the bottom to get the clothes out. Now I wish I bought a front loader.

Works pretty good for the price that you pay. I like the designs.

Gets clothes clean with some neat features. But, does leave clothes more wet than previous washer meaning longer drying times and the machine is noisy.

My first load of sheets were done exceptionally well.

Thought about buying matching dryer, well not going to happen. I'm so disappointed in the washer I will not buy this product again. I despise it and should have returned it the next day. Regret not doing so.

Bought this for my mother last year, wanted to spend a considerable amount of time using it before reviewing. My mother still adores it as much as the first day she got it. My mother's laundry room is super tiny - which I remember from having to squeeze around in it in order to do laundry growing up there - but she *hates* front loads so stacking was not an option. This unit is a lot of capacity with a little bit of space. It also looks really space-aged. The big thing too is noise. When I was growing up with my room sharing a wall with the laundry - I'd be woken up to the sound of the laundry so many times. My youngest brother, who is now in that room, benefits from how quiet this machine is - and his sleep is never disturbed (you're welcome bro!). There was a bit of a learning curve for my mother switching from standard washers - but she still raves about this washer today. I'd highly recommend it. It's been very reliable through my brother's High School career (he's a jock so the clothes would definitely give any washer a run for the money). Long term, the durability of the direct drive motor and SmartDiagnosis (coupld with Geek Squad protection!) gives me peace of mind that my mother will be able to handle any issues should they arise.

I moved from an old Sears top loader that lasted more than a decade and smelled like it. This LG not only works very well, it is very quiet to the point that sometimes I think it has stopped because I can't hear it washing. We bought it "open box" and got a great deal on the price but the Best Buy delivery guys dropped it off the tail gate of their truck then wouldn't admit it. I guess I don't blame them, they probably work for minimum wage. We accepted it anyway after using it for several days. The damage is documented in a return order that we canceled at the last minute so we'll see how it works out. I repaired the broken base myself and it works just fine. The machine itself looks exceptional, it works very well and we couldn't bear to part with it. As with all new washing machine robots, follow the directions and you will avoid all the problems mentioned in most of the bad reviews. Love your robot.

This is my new favorite appliance! Quiet, does a great job of cleaning my husband's grungy clothes, love that it doesn't have an agitator to wrap clothes around, holds a huge amount, and it plays a tune when it's done (could be louder though). The only drawback is I'm 5 feet tall and I need to really stretch to reach the bottom or use a stepstool but it's a small price to pay for a great washer. My husband finds this drawback amusing.

I don't normally write reviews but we are incredibly happy with this unit. We've had this washer for about 6 weeks. Just got first water bill which is typically $170 for 3 months, this bill was $100! We have never had a bill that low in 22 years in our house. Washer has a huge capacity, easily handles a king size sheet set and blanket or a comforter. The unit is also very quiet. We have first floor laundry, we barely notice the washer is even running. The little song it plays when a load is complete is a nice touch. The closes come out of the washer very dry. We are able to dry the clothes in dryer and have them folded and put away before next load is done in washer. In fact we've learned to back off the spin cycle some on certain loads that contain items that wrinkle easily, like men's dress shirts as they would come out so dry that the wrinkles would not come out in dryer. The washer does not have an agitator which is very nice. Seems to be much more gentle on the clothes but everything comes out clean. The unit goes through a lot of gyrations at the start to try to balance the load before it starts filling with water. It's very entertaining. It also senses how much water to use based on the amount of laundry, not sure how it does it but clearly it does as my water bill is evidence. We are very pleased with our purchase.

I like to read reviews about products that people have owned for a couple years, that is not the case here, however I would like to dispute some negative reviews. People are saying that it doesnt clean or get out stains( it cleans just fine and I do have to pretreat, but I have had to do that with every washer I have ever owned. People are saying it doesn't balance and it beeps and shows a code, and you have to spent hours balancing it, hasnt happened to me. (Read instructions on how to load it (heavy clothes on the bottom, but dont exceed half the basket with heavy items). People are saying it doesnt use enough water and some clothes dont get covered (this also hasnt happened) people are saying it takes to long, ( I timed it it takes an hour and 5 minutes, not much longer then a front loader, and the amount of clothes you can fit in this thing, cuts time doing laundry anyway). As far as how long it will last I cant answer that, but my Whirlpool Duet frontloader only lasted me 4 years, and I was very careful with it cleaned it and cleaned the pump once a year. So far I really like this washing machine, I almost didnt buy it because of some of the negative reviews.
