I built a new home and needed a new washer. This washing machine works great.

When we finally decided to ugprade our washer, we wanted high efficiency with a large capacity but did not want a front loader. I was nervous about buying an LG - I just don't have any experience with LG appliances. However, I am really impressed with this washer. I like all of the features, the design of the control panel, and the ability to choose how fast it spins, the exact temperature of the water, and lots of other combinations. I am really happy with the large load capacity and how quickly each cycle runs. Overall, I'm glad we bought this washer and would definitely recommend it.

Silly me. Was not even aware that there was such a thing as a top loading washer without an agitator. Had planned to purchase front loader, but when I discovered that front loader would not fit in the space I had (with overhead cupboards), I started doing more research and found this model. I could not be happier (unless it had a permanent press cycle). I'm surprised at how little water it seems to use, but still gets the clothes cleaner than my old top loader with agitator. It's also quite quiet and has very little vibration. And, I love the fact that the controls are on the front.

As a family of 6, we need large capacity. Kids love pushing the buttons.

Shopped around a lot before finding this machine. I had a lot of people tell me not to get a front-load machine and I'm glad I listened. This machine looks fantastic and works very well. The wash tub is huge, I can do loads twice the size of what I used to with other machines. There are plenty of different cycles/options. It is also extremely quiet. I haven't had a single problem with mine and would highly recommend this washer to anyone.

Two primary issues were resolved with purchase of this machine. We needed to be able to clean comforters and larger loads while saving time by doing fewer loads per week. The downside is that the cycles take an inordinate amount of time to complete at fifteen to twenty five minutes more we NEED to and are forced to wash fewer loads on washday. A few extra comments: 1. Stainless steel drum with no central column is easy to load. 2. This unit is very quiet. 3. Easy access front controls are easy to use and convenient. 4. Cleaning performance is above average but not quite superlative. Still trying a variety of top name HE detergents to see which is best in this machine.

All the buttons look complicated, but it's easy to figure out. I love the that the controls are on the front of the machine too instead of reaching across to the back. There are plenty of setting options and I love that it figures out how much water you need. It also has a setting to clean the tub if you want to. Love the graphite color! One thing to be aware of; I am tall (5' 8") and have to step on my tip toes to get all the clothes out since it's a top loader. I would need a step stool if I were much shorter. It also already has a scratch from when I opened a cabinet door while the lid was up. My fault, but it was more of a bump and it left a visible scratch.

Overall, this washer is great! It has all of the features that we need. The operation is whisper quiet and does a quality wash job on the clothes. The clothes come out nearly dry, significantly reducing dry time. The tub is very large and allows us to do what would have been multiple loads from our previous washer. I have noticed that while wiping dust, the top does show very light streak or scratch marks, but nothing too significant. The price is great and I would highly recommend this product with its matching dryer.

We bought this washer and its associated dryer to replace a 5 year old front loading set. I am very impressed with the quality and performance of this washer. Clothes are washed very nicely and you can really customize the cycle for exactly the type of load you have. The washer is very quiet as well. It was a little complicated at first because there is a large control panel and you need to understand all of the options, but after using it now for a few weeks it's very easy. Oh, the little tune that plays when the cycle is complete is very catchy!

I love this washer. It gets the job down quietly and efficiently.

I have had this Washing machine for 3 months. I absolutely love it! This is the first HE machine I have ever bought and I will definitely never go back to the agitator type. It has a huge capacity, gets the loads clean, and is easy to use. I have 3 kids ages 15 - 10, and they have no trouble using all the pre-set settings. Best Buy delivered the machine, provided all new hoses, set it up and the made the whole process easy. The only negative, is that at 5"6' I do have to stretch on my tip toes to get to the very bottom of the tub basin.

Minimized number of loads and easy to use. We had a washer for 13 years that broke and we were forced to shop. Needless to say, this was the first one to catch my eye based off looks, then when I was shown all the features and the capacity of the interior, I was sold! I wanted a front loader but was very hesitant, but I am glad that our sales rep showed me all the same qualities in a top loader. Very happy!

I really like the simplicity of the machine. It is easy to use.

we have had the washer for about 2 months now, replacing a front load HE. It is a nice washer, very quiet, the clothes are well rung out after a cycle so take a lot less time in the dryer. However it is hard to tell how much it is actually cleaning them as opposed to more "bathing" them. we used to get a lot of lint in teh hose traps after using the front load, where now we barely get any. i don't know if this is good or bad, since maybe the front load was too harsh on teh clothes, or maybe this new top-load is not harsh enough. there have been a few items that didn't get thoroughly "scrubbed". so it is a good machine but i'm not 100% confident it washes as good as other alternatives. i have not had any of the sensor, unbalanced load, errors that some reviews mention but there have been a couple times where the machine was trying to fix an unbalance and I just did it myself to save the time of it tryign to redistribute the clothes.

Besides the significant price difference from the white model and the graphite model I don't have a bad thing to say about this washer. My washer and dryer are in my garage and I have shelving right over the washer and dryer which made it hard to see the controls on my old units. So having the controls up front has just made things easier. With my old washer and dryer I use to have to do 4 loads of laundry a week, now with this washer being 4.5 cu. ft., I cut it down to 2 loads a week, plus the size makes it easy to wash my comforters and car covers. This washer has made things so much easier for me and my families needs, and it's just icing on an already delicious cake that it uses less water and is more energy efficient when comparing it to my old washer.

Easiest purchase ever great service delivery was great

This washer is a huge upgrade for us. Our old washer could only handle a few pairs of pants and shirts. This washer can handle several beds worth of sheets and still have room to spare. It is the quietest washer I've heard, and it has a ton of cycle options. Friends of ours had theirs delivered a week prior, and the delivery guys forgot to remove the shipping bolts from the bottom. The machine skated across their floor, so we made sure to check with our guys when they delivered our washer. No problems.
