I'm so excited with the many features this washer provides. You can do a variety of load sizes with a small amount of water. There is no agitator to twist and damage fine garments. I love having the controls up front where I can easily reach them, and because there is a totally flat surface, it is easy to use to fold large items on the top. And, it is soooo quiet!

I love the quietness of this machine. I love the chime when the load is finished, but it is hard to hear on the other level of the house. I love the glass doors to watch how the machine works. I'm happy with no agitator so more items fit. The drum is large and deep, however, it is difficult to reach the small items at the bottom. I am 5'5". It spins my wash better than my old washer, therefore it takes less time to dry.

Absolutely love everything about it except that it's so deep it's hard for me to get all the clothes out of it especially small pieces. I learned that if I pull the clothes to the front as I am unloading it, I can usually get them all without having to get my little ladder out. The size, quietness and performance far out-weigh this little problem.

This washer is easy to use and does a good job cleaning clothes. It was the only one that fit under our cabinets, although the height dimensions listed do not include about 2 inches for the feet so factor that in. When installed ours just barely clears. It is used in a laundry room off of our main living space and is a little noisy, but within acceptable limits. The washer is attractive and matches other appliances in the house. The delivery/installation personnel were careful, fast, and technically competent.

My wife and I bought his washer after our old one broke (old meaning probably 10 years old). This washer is excellent! Very quiet and hold a lot of clothing. Some reviews mention the clothes do not get as clean as a regular washer. My wife and I have not expeirenced this at all. We feel our clothes are just as clean and the spin cycle extracts most the water which lessens the time needed for the dryer.

Does a good job and looks nice. I need to buy a large capacity dryer though, since I can do larger loads in this machine it is often too large a load for my older dryer. At first I thought the electronic panel would be hard to get used to, (no knobs) but it really isn't. Overall, I really like it.

I wanted a large capacity washer to wash bedding, and it easily handles a large down comforter. It also has the low profile agitator, which doesn't leave clothes in knots like those with big agitators, and it uses very little water, which I like. Being about 5 feet tall, however, I do have to stretch a lot and move the drum around to get clothes out of the bottom. If I didn't want to wash bedding, I'm not sure I would get a large capacity washer again. It washes well and looks impressive.

I have owned this machine for about a month and i am very happy with it. It is efficient and can handed large loads of clothes, bedding and rugs. Smart technology is used and the machine adjusts water usage for load size. The only real downfall is the loads take a long time to wash. over an out on most cycles. I Would by this again.

My wife loves the washer. The front mounted controls are very intuitive and easy to learn. The open tub no longer has the middle column and can hold a huge load of laundry. Automatically sets the water level based upon the size of the load. Spins up very fast and it is well balanced and quiet. Clothes are not much more than damp following the spin cycle. Saves significant time in the dryer.

I love love my new LG washer. This is the Ferrari of washers! I bought this for my mother and she loves it so much she washes loads all day just because it's so easy to use, hardly makes any noise and leaves the clothes smelling great. I am happy I bought this washer and now I know I can't buy any other brand except LG.

Love the split top lid on the machine-prevents mildew smell. Has a setting/cycle for any size load. Smart machine-no matter how many bath mats and towels I put in, it adjusts the load and rebalances in order to finish the cycle. I never thought I would notice, but you can see that the clothes are cleaner when washed in the LG.

This washer is state of the art. Controls are on the front. Love that. The model is streamline takes up less space than my old washer but holds twice as much. Clothes are cleaner. Uses less detergent. But my favorite is the little song it plays at the end of the cycle. I would recommend to anyone. Thanks best buy and LG

This washer surprise both my wife and me. We had heard so many bad things about front loader so we opted for this bad boy. Energy efficient so we were skeptical how good it would clean with limited water but It has surpassed our expectations. This washer is a beast!!

I love the large capacity of both the washer & dryer. I just washed all my blankets due to a recent move and they handled it as easily as regular towels. They are quiet and a beautiful set. I also like that the alert is not an annoying beeping sound but rather musical.

Love my new washer! Love the quietness and how great it cleans clothes. It is very energy efficient and has different settings. I normally use the speed wash setting. I have washed a load of solid whites on the Whites setting and the clothes got as white as they have ever been. This washer is worth every penny!

Selected unit based on Consumer Reports data. No room for a front loader so I elected for a top load unit. Cycles are long...mostly since unit spends a lot of time sensing the load and adjusting it. Always used washers with a spin agitator...happy with the results till now. Seems the clothes come out cleaner.

Recently bought the LG - 4.5 Cu. Ft. 8-Cycle Ultralarge-Capacity High-Efficiency Top-Loading Washer - Graphite Steel. The experience at best buy was pleasant & the sales associate really knew the facts about the washer. The Graphite Steel is really good looking & dressed up the laundry room. The cycles are very quite & no load is to large for the ultralarge capacity.

Great machine. Huge capacity when upgrading from a top load with agitator. Gets clothes very clean. Only qualm would be that it almost spins clothes too dry so it is occasionally difficult to get the wrinkles out. However one can select the spin speed so that seems to help by setting the spin lower. The unit is very quiet.

We purchased this washer to replace our previous LG front load high efficiency washer. The front load was great as well, but my wife was getting tired of bending down to load and unload and it was actually pretty noisy during the spin cycle. This washer is amazingly quiet and we are very happy with it.

How we love our washing machine. It is so quiet you do not know it is running a load. The controls are in the front. There are air vents so lid can be always closed. large capacity. Options for small load or large load are all technically calculated. Options for individual custom settings. Fun to use. We like the see-through top. Washing is fun with this machine which seems so perfect. We are thoroughly satisfied and highly recommend it.
