...OK, I love my new washer, but when the water is going in, it's LOUD. Second, you need to ensure you leave the door partially open after doing the last load (its hinge is built for this), because it WILL STINK otherwise! Noticed a HUGE difference on my electric and water bill, however! would purchase again.

Many useful settings. Gets the job done with minimal water and almost no noise.

After many years with a whirlpool duet, I recently bought this LG and could not be happier. Super easy to operate yet with lots of options. Cleans efficiently, quickly and quietly and has a huge capacity. So far very impressed and glad I made the switch to LG!

We have used this machine for about 12 washes so far. It has performed as expected. We had an LG washer before, which lasted us 7 years and then the bearings wore out. We hope this machine functions as well as the other one The only problem with it so far is that unlike the last one, this one has no handles on the side to make it easy to move !! What a shame they still don't put them on them.

I love the many features of this machine, especially the detent that allows the door to look closed but is slightly open for drying out when not in use. It has a very large capacity but handles small loads as well. I also like the sanitation cycle for linens. I would have preferred a smaller unit but I think this is the new standard. I love the color.

We were excited for a new LG washer, and it has been pretty good so far, but as other reviews have said before, there is a water leak that leaves the front of the washer looking dirty and not very sleek. Slightly disappointed about this. We even had the machine professionally installed, so I know it's not a poor job of installation that's leading to the leak. Maybe you won't run into this issue, but keep it in mind i guess...

Very quiet washer, clothes are just about dry after the spin cycle

Upgraded an old Whirlpool set that came w/ the house we recently purchased. My wife was having a particular issue with the delicate/hand-wash cycles on the old unit. We've had zero issue with the LG. It handles the loads perfectly. The machines (wash & dry) are very quiet and make no movement when in use. Very impressed after owning for a few weeks.

If it wasn't for the sale price I would not have bought this washer. It takes three times as long as my old washer to clean cloths. And I have notice not really any better then my first front load machine. It does have a quick cycle and can be adjusted. Also the door needs to be left open all the time when not in use or a odor will develop. Instructions tell you to wipe door, drain lint filter if you do not intend to use washer for used for a couple of weeks etc.. This is extra maintenance normally not associated with cloths washers in general. It has a lot of extra features, like most new washers. But who really cares if you only use them once a year. I just hope it is dependable and lasts. And clean my cloths. So far it has. About 1 year of use so far. I would recommend only if bought on sale.

Although it has more bells & whistles than I probably will ever use, the basic functions do their job well! My clothes seem to be cleaner than what my previous washer could do, even when it was new. I also enjoy the "tone" when finished as apposed to the ol' buzzer sound.

We have enjoyed using this washer for 6 years now. The motor still works along with all the settings. Investigating a water leak while draining. Pretty much flawless performance up until now. Hopefully it can be restored to full duty. We will see.

I just moved into my first home and needed to replace the washer and dryer. I was a little weary of front loading units after reading some reviews. The LG brand received the most favorable reviews so I decided to take a chance. I'm very happy with these units, it has made doing laundry very efficient.

We've had this washer for about a month now, and have put it through its paces. It is wonderful. Clothes come out much cleaner than our old top-loader and the fast spin cycle means the dryer really does take less time now. In fact the whole laundry process goes faster, because the washer and dryer are pretty much synchronized now, so there's no waiting to swap loads. Steam feature really gets the whites clean, with no bleach. It's quiet too. However - you do NOT need the burst proof hoses that Pacific Sales will try to sell you. The washer comes with its own hoses that work better than the burst proof ones. We tried both, and returned the ones Pacific pushed on us. The washer made loud thumping, water hammer noises with those hoses. It's quiet when you use the LG hoses, that LG recommends (in the manual) that you use, and that come with the washer.
