The overall quality of this washer seems very good. We like the large capacity along with its quiet operations.

I have only used this washer a few times so far however it works "OK" however it is quite different than my "old faithful" washer. It is easy to use however I do not like the detergent "tray" which holds less than is sufficient for a heavy load and the machine does not seem to "suds up" much. (It does have an agitator.) The LG dryer is fine. My biggest problem was the original crew..........a nightmare delivery/install story however Best Buy's Asst. Mgr was great and a second crew was sent to resolve the problems right and a credit was given to me for the small gouge in my wall from crew #1. Bonnie

Received machine and was disappointed because drainage hose was too short. Called LG and was told I had to purchase an extension for $42.00 Had to pay a handy man to purchase and install extension. Machine runs very well and is quiet. I am trying to figure out how to run a permanent press cycle. Tried to review manual on line but was unsuccessful

Like my old Matag, I wish this washer had a fill cycle separate from “locking” the door so that as water is filling, items with stains or collars could be scrubbed ! If this is considered a safety issue for children, then why can’t there be an unlock option like car doors have? If both persons in the household are seniors, scrubbing items in another sink and then dragging them to the washer makes the floor wet… a BIG Hazard for us! The handbook is lacking in explanations of each cycle. Like all “HE”washers, what savings are realized on use of water, are added to electrical use because of extra time of cycles. So am I happy with my machine? it was the best selection of what is presently offered.

The new washer has been an excellent choice and an improvement in quality for us, despite it not being the top model.
The sales assistant, K. L., guided me through the process with his expert knowledge, etiquette, tact, and general experience so despite myself it was a smooth and sensible experience overall.
I will return again for other purchases because my experience was far superior than elsewhere.
