I guess it's give and take with todays technology
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very smart washing machine, but can't seem to keep it from going unbalanced with towels and blankets. Delivery guys leveled it and I checked and rechecked it. Seems to be perfectly level.

Not for short people
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am 5'3" and the tub on this washer is so deep. Even on a chair I had issues getting my cloths out. Also I have animals and at end of wash my clothes were covered in hair. Returned washer and got a front loader by LG. Love it.

Left my clothes dirty
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very surprised NOT to like this washer. My very old washer got my clothes cleaner then this. Would not recommend, but I feel like I may have gotten a lemon based on the other favorable reviews.

Do Not Buy This!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The washer left clothes unclean and with dry spots. Even on light loads. Had to use heavy saturate which defeats the purpose having a green washer. Our home is going back to the old style type washer.

washer is under service call and it is 30 days
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have only had this washer and it moves when washing and the timer changes. This washer as sold as a balancing washer and should never move while in operation. Service call in

Would Recommend!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hesitated on purchasing due to the warning label stating not to wash any water proof or water resistant materials. I needed to be able to wash coats, mattress pads, shoes, and sleeping bags. I have washed sleeping bags (one at a time) , water shoes (mixed in a load of beach towels), and a down coat, and they were fine. I think as long as you are sensible about the nylon and water resistant materials it seems to work fine. Does everything I need and works great! Also, the price decreased over 100.00 dollars when it went on sale right after I purchased. I called Best Buy and they adjusted the price. Nice!

LG at it's best
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read all the reviews god and bad and still bought this washer. I have to say after reading and understanding how this washer works, it's LG at it's best. The way to get this to work is to balance the washer's feet with a level. After that's done, open the washer lid and see if the drum is even on both sides. This is key when throwing cloths in. If the drum is off set (let's say to the right) throw more cloths to the left until the drum is balanced. This works every time. The cloths come out clean and smelling fresh.

LG Wave Technology Washer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to use, large tub, somewhat quiet operation compared to my previous washer. Cleans the clothes effectively and thoroughly; washed various loads of delicates, towels, and bulky bedding with no problems. Love that it does not have an agitator, so no more torn clothing!

Great Washer!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We replaced the washer that came with the house with this one. It was a pretty quick decision as we have twin toddlers in cloth diapers. Being without a washer is a problem!!! I searched on-line and found great reviews for this washer on Good Housekeeping and Consumer Reports. Best Buy's price was $100 less than all the competition. We are very happy with the choice. My husband does his own laundry and went from "You spent HOW much on a washing machine?!" to "How much is the matching dryer?" after using it. I love that it senses the load and only uses the amount of water that it needs. It will also automatically adjust the water so that the load does not become uneven. This has been a big issue fo rme in the past. This might be standard, but I like the child lock, it gives me piece of mind. It is fairly quiet, and we feel that it is getting the clothes cleaner than our old washer.

Not efficient
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just returned this washer. I am hoping this review helps others. I don't know about these He washers and I was very hesitant about replacing my 15 year old standard washer. I bought it based on decent reviews I read about this machine. First of all, a good wash could take anywhere between 1 hour to 1 1/2 or more. Then you cannot wash items that are water resistant, which I have a water resistant bed cover for my daughter's bed. You can use the speed wash but the clothes are not washed well. I was just so dissatisfied because I don't have time to be all day waiting for my clothes. A minute could last up to 4 min. I hope this helps others because it does take getting used to these machines but these are a waste of time if you have a family of clothes to wash for. On the other hand, it's accompanying dryer was great but I wanted to keep my new washer and dryer consistent.

Not Great for Hard Stains
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Reasonably priced but I've noticed black stains on my collared shirts that I've never seen before. The clothes seem reasonably clean but I question it's ability on tough stains. I've seen some complaints about unbalanced load issues but haven't experienced this issue once and it's used to clean the clothes of 5 people. I just followed the loading instructions recommended by the manufacturer. It has a big tub that handles our comforters and pillows easily and fits every towel including pool towels all at once. Some cycles are extremely long and it uses tons more water than my previous front loader. Overall I'm ok with it. Hope it lasts longer than the 3 I've had in the last twelve years. Maytag, 3yrs, Whirlpool, 4yrs, Amana, 5yrs.

Problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My washer is only a little over a year old and has problems balancing the load, not getting enough water to wash the clothes properly, and is now making a horrible noise in the motor. The noise just started about a month ago. The other I have been dealing with for the past four months or so. I am very disappointed in the performance of this LG. I phoned LG and their response was since it was no longer under warranty call a local fixer but be prepared to pay.
