I love this washing machine! It's been 6 months now since we've purchased it and we've had absolutely no problems. It's high efficiency, very quiet, and easy to use. I love that it automatically senses a load size. No more using too little or too much water!

I have been through 2 Maytag washers in the last 6 years. When my 6 year old Maytag dryer went at the same time as my 2 year old washer I decided it was time to change brands. I have had my new LG washer and dryer for about 6 weeks and I could not be happier. Cleans better and holds more, much quieter and the dryer is more efficient and much quieter. I would highly recommend these appliances

This is the first time I am using a washer without the center agitator. At first I was unsure if my clothes were getting clean/using enough water. I do not like that I do not have control over the water level but it seems to work fine on its own. The washer capacity is much larger than my dryer so I am unable to wash a full load for the dryer. It is extremely quiet!

So far so good. I need to adjust not having an agitator that I am use to. This washer takes about twice the time of my old washer. I don't care for that, but all else is fine. Almost to many choices for wash cycles.

I have had this washer for a couple months now, and I LOVE it! It is very quiet. My laundry room is on main floor. It washes clothes great. And it's huge! I fly through laundry in no time now! I am a mother of 2 boys. I would 100% recommend this washer.

I bought this washer cause of how big the tub was. I can really load the tub with clothes. I don't like how long it takes to wash clothes and I don't like how I can't fill tub with water while I add my clothes. So I will have to get use to that. We will see if this one holds up from to my old machine.

Highly recommend for families with children as the stain cycle and tub size will handle the most active families. BestBuys delivery guys were exceptional relative to customer service, clean, considerate, and professional. They answered all my questions and took great care bringing in washer as well as removing old machine.

Love my new washing machine. Very easy to figure out the controls. Fairly quiet also. Finally I can wash the big bulky bedding that didn't fit the old washer. Only thing I have a slight problem with is the tub is so deep I can't reach the far side at the bottom, but the tub turns easily so I can get the last sock out.

With a somewhat light load of laundry it would get out of balance and stop the cycle, usually shifting the clothes around remedied the problem. Other than that it has been a great washer for over 3 years now.

We are very pleased with this washer. It replaced a much older (70's model) washer that was considered an "extra large" capacity. This machine will efficiently wash at least 1 1/2 more clothes per load than the old machine. We really like the extra fast spin cycle, it saves on the drying time.

The thought of just putting the clothes in the washer and adding the detergent to the appropriate container........ shut the lid, set the dials and walk away! Could not be easier. Having no large dasher in the tube makes it for larger wash loads...... I am glad that I purchased the product.

The washing machine tub is huge. I can wash a lot of clothes in one load. Downside is that my dryer doesn't have the same capacity. The washing machine is upstairs next to my bedrooms and we barely hear it when it runs. Very quiet. No vibration when it spins which keeps the noise down.

I've enjoyed doing my laundry on a weekly basis. My daughter also does her laundry on a weekly basis and really likes both the washer and dryer. LG was recommended by my sister and her husband because they also have like the LG product of their washer and dryer.

The LG 4.7 cu. ft. Model #WT4970CW top-loading washer is an excellent machine, in my opinion. I purchased this machine one month ago from Best Buy and was extremely pleased with their price match, customer service and on time delivery. The added extended warranty from Best Buy was an excellent value as well. The machine is very simple to operate, runs smoothly and does an excellent job of cleaning the clothes. One of my favorite options is the ability to add extra water to a wash if needed. However, I can hear the water sloshing around the machine on a normal wash which is more than I ever got from my previous HE machine. The annoying loud buzz at the end of a wash is replaced with a welcoming short tune. I found myself humming to it the other day! Although I have only owned this machine for a month, I have used it consistently every day and did eleven washes in the first 2 days upon receiving it. If you take care of your machine, i.e., don't leave wet laundry in the tub, wipe down the tub when you are completely finished doing your laundry and make sure to use an Affresh or similar tablet once a month to clean your machine, I am sure you will be completely satisfied with the LG 4.7 cu ft. 8 cycle HE washing machine.

Like most people my first choice was the high-end front loader but this machine is outstanding at a very reasonable price. Got the matching dryer and love them both. I have other LG products and they're all excellent quality! LG is the way to go for anything!

we had a great 20 year old top loader and this machine after much research was a great transition. Load size, less noise, energy efficient are the plusses over the old. will be very happy if it last 20 years like the old one we just replaced.

Because the system has so much technology to it, you are somewhat limited to the preset programs. If your venting system has lint buildup, then the unit will not work, which is a good feature because it makes certain that your home is safe.

I'm a fan of the direct drive system, deep tub and the washing options. It's quiet, efficient and uses very little soap. Lack of window on the lid is a mild bummer, but who wants to sit and watch the laundry anyways? Glad I bought it.

We are very please thus far with our new washing machine. It is very quiet and uses less water than our old appliance. It is easy to use with enough variable controls to customize any wash load.

This washing machine works well. I feel my cloths are finally getting clean after using a GE - HE machine that never put enough water in the machine to cover the cloths. The only problem is the instruction manual does not contain enough information.
