The washer has multiple problems number 1 of which is it doesn't clean clothes. Not enough water is put in to wash a sock. LG's answer was to defeat the water saver feature by holding the options button until it beeps twice, using permanent press cycle and fabric softener button. It cleans a little better, uses a ton of water and has raised my water bill dramatically. Bounces all over the place in spin and constantly gets a 1E code which makes it shut down in the middle of a cycle. When the service person came to investigate this issue, I was told it is caused by a filter screen on the fill hose that clogs. This is from tap water and has needed to be repeated every 1-2 weeks on NYC tap water! If you forget to clean them, the washer will run for 3 or 4 hours and then throw the 1E code and shut down.

This is one of the best investments I have ever made! This product is very easy to use and the various settings are nice when you are doing laundry. The tub is a great size for large families. It is very quiet and efficient.

We just needed a nice machine that does the job. We looked at consumer reports and chose this washer because of their review. It would be great for a large family because of the large capacity but we are just two. Even couples have bulky bedding to wash! Don't get caught up with getting front loaders 'cause you see them in all the ads and design shows.

This is my first new washer after having a front loader for years. I love that I don't have to worry about the gasket and mildew. I love that the clothes seem to spin out much dryer than they did in my front loader. It is so quiet, I use to be able to hear my front loader through the walls, this one I can't.

Cleans exceptionally well! No more musty smells like I had with my old top loader washer with agitator. Clothes do not end up all tangled up like I've heard/read about other HE washers. I love the tub size and can fit a lot of clothing into one wash. I really like the different washing options available. It runs very quiet. There is a slight start-up sound at the beginning with the leveling but the sound quickly subsides.

When it was time to replace my old washer and dryer, it was between this LG and the Samsung. I went with the LG, and I am very pleased. I like a top load washer, and this one gets the clothes clean while still being energy efficient. Wash times are long, but I have not noticed any difference in my electricity bill. The washer is a bit big, but I knew that when I bought it. It looks like it could easily hold my largest comforter. Everyone loves the song the washer plays at the end of the cycle. I am very pleased with my purchase.

This machine could have been a good one except for the excessive vibration during the Rinse and Spin cycles. It also took longer for the clothes to be washed because it rebalances itself throughout the entire process. However, the clothes did come out clean. LG could have done a better job. One notable feature is that you can program your favorite wash cycle that I did not find in the machine I replaced it with. I am very happy with the replacement and it's not N LG.

Still not sure how I would rate this washer. I like the large tub, but I have fo be careful about loading it as it does get off balance.

I absolutely LOVE this washer. It's my second LG in 15 years. The one it replaced still worked but was front loading and I wanted a top loader. My old one was so loud on the spin cycle and this one is so quiet. I can watch TV and do laundry! I'm a huge LG fan and this does not disappoint. The detergent dispenser is in a weird place in the back but I still love it 100%

Washer is very large capacity which is the best thing about this washer. It doesn't use much water therefore it doesn't get the clothes very clean. It takes 1 hour to wash. It does not dissolve the powder laundry detergent. It is very loud.

This washer works great. The capacity is awesome. I can now wash my comforters and know they will get clean. Even though it's an HE the water level is fine. There is even an option to add extra water if you want. I can wash so many clothes in one load instead of doing 2 to 3 with my old HE washer. It's not super quiet though, but that's not a big deal since it's in my basement. The dial and buttons make it very easy to understand and use.

This washer holds a huge amount of clothes! I have a family of five and it has cut my time spent doing laundry in half or more. It cleans everything great and has a ton of special features. It has also helped us to use less laundry detergent.

over all this is the best washer i have had in years.. easy to use,quiet and a great price..

Best Buy had the best deal and the best extended coverage program for this product. The washer's capacity is large, and it washes well. The only part of the design that needs work is the detergent/softener dispenser. A little water remains in the well after each use, which I don't want sitting until the next wash day a week later.

As a busy working mom of three, laundry used to be my most dreaded chore. This machine is so easy to use and because it is a large capacity washer, my time spent on laundry has significantly decreased. The ability to be able to wash all my bedding at home instead of a laundromat is probably my favorite feature.
