Love this washer. Clothes are cleaner. Really like being able to see inside the washer as It washes. They dry faster and spin harder. Love it

Too deep for average height person need a little stool to get to the bottom, Washes very quiet and spins quiet also. Great washer.

The computer settings are easy to understand and use. We've had great water efficiency, not to mention savings on detergent and electricity. No problems with vibration or machine "walking." We placed two sets of flannel sheets plus pillow cases in the washer, placed Cycle setting setting to "Bulky, the water to cold and had great results. Clothes are no longer beat to death by an agitator. Our favorite setting is "Delicate." If you're tired of hand-washing fine washables, use the "Delicate Cycle, and your fine washables will come out great. We use a lint filter on the tube that extracts water from washer to sink basin and have far less lint on all cycles and types of clothing. Machine is great.

This LG top-loading washer replaced a Samsung Front-loading washer we purchased at Best Buy in the fall of 2013. We replaced it because it was so noisy that it shook the doors and glass in the adjoining rooms when it went into the spin cycle. I now have a super quiet machine, made by LG. I don't have to do as many loads of laundry or use as much detergent as I did with the front-loader. I am not fully satisfied with the outcome of the cleanliness of the clothes, leading to my 4 star rating of this machine.

I bought this washing machine more than a month ago and I love it. It is very efficient and easy to use. The only con that I think of is that it is quite deep, so you have to be careful that you don't forget a sock (or two!). Overall, I am extremely satisfied.

Not quite 2 months in and everything is working fine. Running properly, cleaning clothes properly. Quiet as described. Cycles are long because of the nature of HE washers (spends a while sensing the load balance and auto-balancing). Design flaws: (1) NFC interaction for custom cycles is nice if you have a NFC phone or tablet, but they're still not too common - would've been better to add Bluetooth interaction, which most phones and tablets do have. (2) Instructions state the machine should be leveled, but the top of the machine is curved, so you need a level that is at least 2.5' long because the lid needs to be up and the level run across the rim of the machine. Maybe not really a design "flaw" but maybe something the instructions could be better at specifying. (3) HE machines are typically deep, and this one definitely is deep, so if you're even average height, when you lean in to remove laundry, you're going to press against the buttons that are located on the front of the machine. If you're short, you're going to need a step-stool to reach in, and expect to press against the buttons every time. Still gets a thumbs-up, though.
