My first experience with these new HE no agitator washers, took some "getting used to," however does a great job on medium to large loads, so far so good, no issues.

Threw out my front load this is 10x the machine than any front load no nasty musty smell

Excellent wash performance and great styling combined with energy efficiency made this an easy choice.

my only negative comment is not on how it works but with the design. the water hook ups extend out the back rather then being recessed in so make sure to measure and give yourself an extra 3 inches of depth or cut a hole in the wall for it to fit!

I love the features of this machine. There are quite a few different cycles, and I have used most of them. I really love this machine.

This is a great washer. It really has a large capacity and has lots of options to choose from so you can wash all types of items.

I was so excited to get rid of my 15 year + washer and dryer set that were falling apart and so loud for this ultra quiet and nice looking HE LG washer and dryer set. How quickly excitement can turn to disappointment. First of all, before even using the machines, I read the directions. Let's just get that straight right now. After following the directions...over and over again, load after load after load, my clothes were not coming clean. In fact, I sat there and watch for over an hour what was occurring in the machine to find several garments remain at the top of the washer, never to be submerged, the entire wash cycle. I have young children, I have stained clothing, I have constant dirty socks from teenagers and none of it was getting clean! I would run the load again...and again...and still not clean. They smelt good by the 2nd wash, but still appeared dirty. Underwear were nasty! Ugh...let me now even go into it. Let's just say I could have washed these clothes by hand and got them WAY cleaner!! The dryer we got to match from LG was no better. The sensor dryer feature is useless and kept shutting off leaving clothes damp...over and over and over again! The stuff made 20, 30 and 40 years ago works way better than this so called high efficiency pieces of garbage do. I so wanted to love these machines!! DO NOT BUY THESE IF YOU ACTUALLY DESIRE TO HAVE CLEAN CLOTHES!!

Capacity is great, but you really cannot utilize it well. If you wash any large load that is the slightest bit mixed (say towels with your whites), you can count on it getting off balance in the spin cycle and calling you with a beep to fix it. Contrary to others, I found it to use too much water to wash a load. My old front-loader washed better with much less water, and this washer always tangles my clothes into knots (super pain when it comes to ironing time). I did return this washer within the best buy no questions ask 30 day window for a front loader. I have to say Best Buy ROCKS in terms of this policy. I would definitely not recommend this one; however, if you are dead set on trying it, at least you know Best Buy will let you swap it out as I did. That is great peace of mind!

The washer is self sensing based on how large the load is. Close come out clean. Large capacity - easly holds queen size bedding.

This washer does a really good job of washing various different types of load/clothing/materials, all quickly and quietly with minimum fuss. It also has a nice large capacity.

Machine was fine - worked well and I was pleased to have a load-sensor ion my new machine to help conserve water. That said, 12 months and 48 hours after my purchase, and my 3rd error on the machine was an E6 - Clutch Error - call service. This code for "massive repair costs" on a machine that I have only run for a little over 8 months. Purchased new on Labor Day 2012 to get good sale price, and sat in my brand new home for the first 3 months with only occasional weekend use. Other 2 error were unbalanced load errors, quickly corrected by me. The saga of 2 different service providers (no one they use answers the phone), the wrong part and almost 1.5 hours on hold waiting for a supervisor to tell me LG would honor the warranty I am now on my 3rd weekend with NO WASHER - with kids in activities, a muddy dog and sheets that need to be changed. Initial repair estimate was $658 on a machine purchased for $799.... horrific. Buy Maytag! No hassle because you never have to call for service. LG is a lie - Life is NOT GOOD when your laundry piles up around you while their techs can't figure out how to fix the problem. Run away!

If you have a family of four or smaller this is a great washer. Doesn't take too long to get use to settings and options.

Very happy with the product. My wife will eventually get a chance to use it.

Like I said on the dryer. These are great and I have had them long enough to know nothing will be going wrong with them except age of course.

LG has no capacity to service washing machines in Southwest Virginia. Our 6 month old LG washer broke down mid wash almost two weeks ago. We have called them four times to ask for service but they cannot locate anyone to repair it. The machine lid locks automatically via computer controls and we cannot open it without doing significant damage to the machine and voiding our warranty. When I called the "escalation team" at LG who were to "solve our problem" yesterday they told me I had no option to wait until they called back, they had no good option at that time. So I have a load of wash literally molding away in a brand new machine I can't even open and LG has told me it's pretty much my tough luck and be quiet and go away. You probably have noticed that these are not cheap machines. I read Consumer Reports etc before buying this machine and I have been careful to follow all the instructions for high energy machines. I typically own appliances forever because I take care of them, so this is a real nightmare,

My wife and I purchased this washing machine around Thanksgiving. Five weeks later it had a problem with a circuit board and we haven't been able to use it in three weeks. An LG serviceman has been out to our house twice and replaced two parts on the machine to no avail. Those parts were on backorder which is why it took them (LG) three weeks and two visits to work on our washer. We asked LG for a replacement washer and they would not give us one. Supposedly, the washer will be up and running in three days when the third back ordered part arrives. One would think that LG would keep parts of its new washers and dryers in stock and on the service vehicles in triplicate so they could actually repair the machines that they sell. In total I will have taken three days off of work and paid for three weeks of laundry to be done before the problem is finally resolved (assuming it is resolved on the next visit). I will NEVER purchase an LG product again!

This washer has the capacity to handle heavy loads of jeans, blankets, comforters. It has lots of options for the wash cycles.

Wish I could give it less than 1 star. This was a great washing machine for the first year. As soon as the warranty expired everything went downhill. Now almost every load goes out of balance which causes the cycle to stop until the contents are rearranged. Towels are the worst because they cause an error code at least 5 or 6 times during the cycle. The washer keeps filling full of water trying to fix the load but it never does until you manually redistribute it and restart. A load that should take an hour ends up taking about 3 and wastes a ton of water and energy. I have called customer service multiple times but can't ever get through to the service where you can put the phone up to the washer for a diagnosis. This is a really badly designed washer. Add in the poor customer service and this experience has put me off all LG appliances.

My wife loves it a lot for everything (capacity, cycles, settings, steam, etc). It is a very quiet machine !!!!!!!

My wife really enjoys this. It washes large loads with no problems. Good quality machine.
