My 8 year old washer broke down and I replaced it with this LG washer and could not be happier. This is the first LG product (alongwith the matching gas dryer) that I have purchased. There are many options to choose from and can be intimidating at first. However, you can change some of the settings and the manual shows you exactly what you can change and how to. Since it is HE, it is different. At first it looks like there isn't enough water to cover the clothes, but the clothes do come out clean. Also, depending on the type of Queen or King comforter you have (thickness), it may not fit.

The washer has great capacity, is quiet, and has done a good job cleaning the clothes so far. It had been 14 years since I bought a new washer so I have to learn the cycles and all. Love that it weighs and dispenses the water so there is less waste since you don't have to choose a water level. Can leave the laundry room door open and the TV doesn't have to be turned up.

I replaced a front loading washer that supposedly would self balance but it wouldn't. I paid more for it than for this washer. I could not leave it when it started spinning. I tried everything to make it balance correctly but to no avail. I just gave up and gave it away. I purchased this machine and the first thing I did was load it with light clothes and JEANS. Guess what It works great! I can't even hear it spinning. I love this washer.

I had purchased a Samsung front loader which I returned as it literally moved across my laundry floor from the first day. This machine is super quiet, huge and has every option I wanted. Like the top loader over the front loader because I can slip in an extra item if needed. Also found with the front loader it was easy to dump clean clothes on the floor. Mentioned the soap tray because it was the only thing I could find not to like; not a big problem but I think if I keep trying to remove it as instructed the plastic will eventually break.

Imagine my surprise, after using my lash washing machine for more than 18 years, when I looked inside this LG washing machine and saw no agitator! This allows for an abundance of space inside and will easily wash a king size comforter. For me, that means no more trips to the Laundromat or cleansers to clean my comforter. I truly enjoy using this machine. It is very simple to operate and pleasantly quiet too!

I've owned LGs before and generally like them (had to leave it when moved homes). They have a lot of size options and have low noise. They wash fairly well. So far, my only criticisms are that when washing fitted sheets - a lot of other clothes get wrapped into the sheet (may a top loader issue generally when you don't have an agitator like this one) and you leave fingerprint marks on the stainless steel areas.

I bought this washer as a replacement for a front-loading Maytag with major mold/mildew issues. This washer has a very large capacity which allows me to wash blankets and comforters. I live in the moutains in a cold climate. It has multiple load functions from which to chose. It is easy to use and energy efficient. It works best when loaded evenly from the beginning. It has no mold/mildew issues and has a "tub clean" cycle. I also bought the matching LG large capacity dryer and am very happy with it as well.

Money is tight and I am careful. My previous set was a Maytag that lasted over 30 years. I take care of things and know what I like and want. I love being able to see through the lid and watch it! I love there are no agitators to snag anything and it is a big tub. I don't have to be careful about distributing the load - it jiggles itself! Love the lights and the little tune it plays when done!

So far, we love this appliance. The only negative we have for it is that you aren't supposed to do extremely small loads. This means if you have one piece that is stained and needs to be washed right away, that you either throw in some other items or you are supposed to wait. Also, there is no dedicated "delicates" cycle which we lived by with our old washer. Other than that, it has been great.

I loved my front loader much better I thought it cleaned my clothes very well however it was costing 400 dollars every two years in repairs just to keep it running ... this one being a top loader does fairly well it just doesn't clean socks well if they aren't right side out but it is the best top loader I've ever owned pretty fancy the lid can't be slammed shut which is nice having kids and all

I purchased this washer after my old one crapped out. After careful review of online deals and reviews we decided this washer would work great for us. The largest deciding factor was the capacity and the fact it was a top load (bad experience with our last washer that was a front load). The space alone is exciting and I definitely recommend it for large families.

This washer is exceptional. My clothes are clean and smell great. I love that I dont have to take my comforters to the cleaners anymore. I can wash and dry all of it in my home. My easy to use controlsmake doing laundry a sinch. There are so many options like bulky bedding, towles, andcotton. The washer even plays a quiet little tune when the cycle Iis complete!

This washer is the best my wife and I have ever had. It uses less water, which is what we were looking for a washer that was efficient on water usage. Plus it washes the clothes great and you use alot less detergent and fabric softener. Even with using less detergent and softener the clothes come out smelling so clean and fresh and the smell lasts. No need to use any of these other products that guarantee freshness for excess amount of days.

I love this washer overall. It can hold sooooo much stuff! It has been a bit rough on a few articles of clothing by tearing the stitching a bit, maybe I need to look into a more gentle cycle. It spins uneven when I wash a few towels/sheets and that can be annoying. Besides those two issues, it's awesome. It can even hold a king sized comforter it's so big!

Love the ease of use, large capacity, features ie preset options; ie towels vs casual clothing wash. I haven't compared my e-bill but my research tells me this tier-3 efficient unit will save me $$ compared to my older unit. Quiet, save for the 1st few seconds as it measures the weight of the load. Otherwise very quiet. GREAT 4th of July weekend sale price: I saved almost $400 combined GE dryer and this washer.

I'm not have any issue with the unit, but a week ago I had an issue. The water started getting out from the tank from the bottom. I called LG support and the lady said it was the detergent... WRONG!!!. Schedule a tech visit and he fixed in 15 min. The people who did the installation of the unit didnt tight a hose and the water was getting out.

This washer has a great capacity and really gets clothes clean. The only issue we have had us while washing small area rugs (bath/kitchen) and blankets. Load becomes uneven during rinse/spin. Requires opening machine and redistributing the weight. I am usually able to pile everything into the middle and the washer will then rebalance correctly.

I really like this washer. I like that I can see the clothes and I can put so much in there and nothing in the middle to get stuck in . I like that it loads from the top as well this is easier on my back .

Purchased as replacement for a front loading machine that experienced severe mold problems. Leaving door open and frequent cleaning could not control. New top loader has larger capacity, no mold issue and is much quieter. Staus in balance and does not shake the house down.

I didn't realize washer doesn't want to wash water proof items. I went back to store and salesman said they all say that now. My old washer did. So jackets, mattress pads, etc watch out in washing them. Husband doesn't think it will last because it spins to fast. Seems odd with water amount it uses that it can clean clothes.
