I needed a loud sound system for a warehouse dock that had to overcome noises from refrigeration units, jacks, horns, etc... This unit has no problem of doing that. Its max volume is 40 and I only have to turn it up to 33. I had a newer Sony unit with iPod dock that claimed 420 watts, but that didn't come anywhere close to as loud as this lg unit even at full volume.

Great Sound big Bass

I even take it to the beach and can still hear the bass. I would highly recommend this speaker for some one who is looking for great sound and good bass!!
