Bought an XBOX One X - Needed a 4K TV with HDR (to replace the 8-year-old TV I had) but with the price of the XBOX One X already high I didn't want to spend any more than I had to to get a 4K HDR TV to go along with my new toy. Plus, I had seen what 4K looks like in the store and I was just blown away at the picture. So, this being Black Friday month, I looked, and looked, and looked, and the cheapest TV I could find, with HDR, was around 450.00. Bummed. Was going to have to wait. Had a budget and needed to stick to it.So, I went to the store itself and decided to just look around and see if I could find something. I happened to see a couple of folks carrying this TV down the aisle and noticed, right on the front of the box, Active HDR. I ran around looking for the TV and found the last one they had and out the door was under 300.00 (with Tax)! Sold! I got the TV home and hooked it up and was just stunned at the picture quality. Just regular 1080p TV looks SO much better! The WEB OS on the TV has all the normal stuff you need right from the click of a button on the remote (Home). Netflix, Amazon, Flix, etc. LG has a "store" you can browse on the TV and even add applications if you so desire. Just for kicks, I flipped on my XBOX One (non-X) and it even looked better! I was truly surprised at the level of detail I was now seeing. Some of the background stuff, in a couple of games, I didn't see at all with my old TV. After playing around with the TV for a while, I ended up in the Help Menu (I wanted to change the order of the Web OS Menus) I found that LG has an app for this TV called LG TV Plus (Apple and Google) that (if your TV is connected to your local home network) add's a MOUSE cursor to the TV and a keyboard input for logging into all the accounts (Netflix, Amazon, etc...). It comes in SO handy. It makes things SO much easier and it's FAST! I was really surprised at the cursor movement speed as I moved my phone around the screen. So, now the real test. The XBOX One X. OMG...I am so happy! Everything played terrifically and was just gorgeous! The sync was perfect and just seeing all these games I had played for months look so much better, I am pleased beyond belief. I know there are other, more expensive tv's, on the market, that can do more and have better this and that, but for under $300.00 with HDR and 43in of georgiousness this TV cannot be ignored. I highly recommend this TV if you are like me and love to get a good, solid, product at a terrific price.

Coming from a 720p TV, this is like a night and day difference. So I saw this during the early black Friday deals and picked it up. Initially I was not very impressed with the picture. I spent hours in the settings trying to adjust everything but I wasn't very satisfied. After some research, I saw that a software update was available. So I updated the software and that made a huge difference. Much clearer and brighter. Streaming 4k content really brings the best out of the TV. HDR works great, makes the picture very bright and colors saturated. It does upscale regular content but it does get pixelated and blurry at times watching sports or fast moving content when not in 4k. I know part of the problem is that Spectrum Cable does not support 4k content. So the TV can only do so much with the strength of the signal it receives. Blacks on this LG are meh. Samsung TV's do much deeper blacks but not a huge issue. The apps work great. The webOS is good, no complaints there. Sound is good too. Overall this is a very good TV. Of course this TV will be outdone by higher end models but for a broke college student like myself, this an amazing product for the price under $300 during black Friday. I love it and would recommend it. Just don't expect it to look like a $1000+ TV. Please update the software asap for better picture

Got this in the pre Black Friday sale for my mother-in-law. For the money this is a great TV! It's RGBW pixel structure makes it not the best for use as a computer monitor, as text will not be as crisp, but the picture quality when using it for what it's meant for (to watch tv/movies) is good. Very bright, with saturated color that is pleasing to the eye. Out of the box settings are harsh, but with a little adjustment it's fine. The setup for antenna is probably the best I have ever seen, and the WebOS smart platform is wonderfully fast and has all the main apps one would want. I love that instead of getting a snowy screen on channels it can't pick up it gives you awesome pictures like a screensaver. Overall, very pleased with this purchase.

I bought a 50" LG 4K UHD TV last Christmas season and have been overwhelmingly pleased with it so I decided I needed one for my bedroom this past holiday season! Although this model wasn't the only one I was considering, my positive experience with last year's purchase is what ultimately swayed me to buy another LG. Add on top of that the amazing bargain I got on it, this deal was too good to pass up! For anyone looking for an affordable 4K TV (with HDR!), you seriously need to consider this model and LG, PERIOD. LG makes a great panel and I am now a happy owner of two of their 4K sets :). 5 stars, easily.

I picked this TV up during a 2017 Black Friday sale and it has not failed to impress since. The smartTV features gives me instant access to all of the streaming services to which I subscribe. Given the price and size, I couldn't ask for a better picture quality. I wasn't aware it had HDR capabilities when I bought it, but a pop-up on the screen when I turn on my PS4 indicates that it automatically turns on when necessary. I would wholeheartedly recommend this product.

We purchased this tv after our last died, after 9 years. The picture is very vibrant and bright. It gives a whole new meaning to watching tv. With our old tv, we needed a sound bar. With this tv, it is not need. We also love the smart features with easy access to the internet apps. And the set up was much faster and easier then I thought it would be. From box, to stand, to set up to watching was about 30 minutes. And that was setting everything up. It is now the favorite tv in the whole house.

Bought this to replace a ten year old Sony. This TV had so many more features than the old one. The price was phenomenal. Cutting the cable is a snap with all the apps this TV comes with, like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon. It is cable ready as well if you want to go that route. It isn't as massive as a 60 or 72 inch model but it is plenty big for a typical sized living room. Watched the Superbowl on this set and it was beautiful.

Price was right to get a UHD Smart TV. LG has a pretty good reputation and I got this one on sale. Hardest part of setup was installing the feet. Hooked up an external antenna and now have 40 local stations I can view on top of cable. Apple TV comes in High Def - great, crisp images. So far, applications have been updated several times and HULU or Amazon Prime look really good. Only down side I can mention is the interfacing with my A/V receiver - HDMI is not perfect - but that could be the age of the receiver and not the TV.

We got this tv during the black friday sale, unlike other shoppers who braved the lines and weather I ordered this online. From 12am to 4am I was trying to get through check out. It took only 3 days to arrive. Now, about the TV itself. It's no Sony I tell you that. But for the price it was well worth it. I just wish it would be thinner on the back. Trying out netflix's 4k content It's pretty decent for a Sub $300 tv. Like I said its no sony. I'd buy this if you're on a budget. May still be worth on regular price.

We are very happy with our new LG - 43" Class - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV. The picture is crisp and clean. The Smart features are generally easy to access and use. Having remote keys dedicated to Netflix and Amazon Prime is a nice touch. The Black Friday price made it an excellent value when compared to comparable TVs.

This television is amazing. Picture quality is great, refresh rate is awesome, and with 4K support on Xbox One X makes it even better. Speakers on the TV are not the best, but it does have a digital optical out so it works amazing with my home theater system. Setup was a bit tedious and the remote only seems to pick up for me if I'm standing directly in front of the TV pointing it directly at the receiver, other than that, this is the best TV I've ever purchased.

The TV has a great picture for this price point. Easy to use and has smart apo’s. We got the TV’s on a Black Friday sale and bought 3 of them. We a very happy with them. We were just looking for a tv for our bedroom and ended up replacing two of our boys TVs as well. It was a great deal @ $279.99. Very happy!!

This tv is great. It has a good quality picture, great features, and simple to use. The only problem I had was at set up it wouldn’t connect to the amazon and netflix apps but once I completed the software upgrade, it works wonderfully

Bought this as a gift for my wifes parent...great picture...4k works awesome....easy setup....great price....compared reviews before purchase and glad we did...our nect TV will be an LG....

This was a great buy with a fantastic price. The resolution is true 2160p a smart TV, 4K ultra HD. This is a great edition to our game room, the smart TV functions give us the ability to not have to hook up our Joey we can watch Netflix, Amazon Prime, You Tube and other apps. The resolution gives a crisp and clean 4K ultra HD picture and to u cannot go wrong with LG. We have many LG products in our home just not Tv's, LG always deliver good products and not all LG products are expensive but even at the great price we got the quality is always there. Hooking up a Xbox one to this TV and will bring a great picture and sound to any movie or game. Can't go wrong.

Got this LG 43" TV for less than $300.00 at the Black Friday Price. The web browser on it is great as you can add new streaming services to the TV which many smart TV's do not allow. The sound and picture are great. You can plug in a wireless keyboard and mouse into one of the usb ports to make web browsing easier. I found this out over the internet as the info with the TV didn't mention this rather than use the remote. I used a Logitech keyboard and mouse combo (get them together and use only one usb port rather than two). Just plug in the transceiver into the port and go. Perfect for the room it's in.

Ultimately, for $250, this LG TV is really great. However, I have found when it comes to televisions, you get what you pay for. The picture is clear and sharp, it has great Smart features, and is very easy to use. Where it fails compared to higher priced televisions is the black. The black is dull and while you might think that is not the biggest deal, it becomes very noticeable if you have a higher priced television in another room that you are used to watching. Even when playing around with the controls, I can't get the black to be any sharper. We bought this television for a second bedroom that doesn't get much use - it is absolutely perfect for what we needed.

Well thought out Smart TV functions, easy to use. Excellent 4K picture with decent HDR and contrast for the price.
