This is a very solid smart TV for the price. Picture and sound are great! The magic remote is really cool and easy to use once you get the feel for it. Being able to use that with the combination of the directional buttons is convenient. I use them both. The home menu is nicely set up and very responsive. This tv is quick as long as your internet WiFi has a good connection. I have another LG smart TV I purchased around five years ago that has a sound bar. This tv can also hook up to that sound bar If needed but not necessary all the time. The sound on the tv alone is very serviceable for kitchen. I did a lot of research before I selected this model and very glad I did. You won’t be disappointed with this purchase, I assure you that. I believe this TV will last a very long time.

I really like LG brand tv’s. I’ve put one everywhere in my house that has a tv. I bought two of webos tv’s before and specifically paid extra for the magic remote. These same features ring true with this newest webos tv, except one unfavorable change. The 2021 update to the webos tv’s have changed the home screen to add some advertisements and extra bloatware. I justified the price of this model for its processing ability, but has been nullified by the sluggish bloatware. Otherwise, you can expect the same quality picture and user interface LG has delivered in previous smart tv models.

Great TV with picture quality and works well in smaller rooms. Only disappointment is this TV goes directly to cable when turned on but has all of the smart apps etc so when turned on a fuzzy screen appears before choosing an app

I absolutely love this TV. I have a larger one in my living room. The LG channels and the smart remote make this the best TV on the market. The screen quality is like watchin it in person. It is so realistic. The sound quality is actually pretty good for the size of the TV

Liked size and quality of picture. Only in dark shadows can one lose some clarity which is normal for this model and cost.

The TV does not connect correctly to the cable box. Spectrum tested the cable box and it is fine. Salesman at BB said TV needed to be "re-calibrated". Still waiting, after a month, for it to be fixed!

We procured this screen for a customer who has been very satisfied with this purchase.

I recently had bought this to but due to its image quality wanted to return it. At the local Best Buy, it appeared that the screen had cracked and I was told that as the screen was cracked I couldn’t return the same. The TV wasn’t dropped or had suffered any damage on route to the local Best Buy. I didn’t have any knowledge of the screen being damaged prior to the staff switching the TV on. This is by far the worst purchase that I have done. I would not recommend this TV even to the worst of my enemies.

This is absolutely teeth wrenching if you have disability and all you wanna do is plug something in and watch TV they literally have you make an account just to switch different input settings

I’ve had this tv less than a month and it already has a black line down the middle. Best Buy refuses to exchange it.

We've enjoyed our LG 43" UP8000 Series LED 4k UHD Smart webOS TV for over 2 years. Living in a rural area, we stream all that we watch on this TV (No cable TV in our area) and are pleased with the ease of operation, availability of apps, and viewing/sound options available on this LG Smart TV. We are moving and anticipate purchasing another LG Smart webOS TV for our new residence. Thank you, LG, for providing clear, crisp, colorful viewing with sound quality that works beautifully for us. Tv has a great picture, good color, and okay brightness. The HDR can be a little dim on certain pictures, but is much better than what I've seen on comparable Samsung products. The smart tv integration is decent and has sparked basically no complaints from me other than one. The only issue I have had with this TV is the updates. When the TV updates it says it needs a restart to apply the update. Simple right? Well not really, the restart seems to be hard to trigger, if you power off on default settings it just does a sleep mode power down. You can turn this off by disabling quickstart+ by un-enabling the setting under devices/TV/Enable quickstart+. When you disable this, you then have to hit the back button until you completely leave the settings menu, then after waiting a couple seconds you can power off with remote for restart. This kind of sucks too because once you power back on if you want to be able to just press a button on the remote to wake the screen you have to re-enable it manually. The only alternative to all this is to physically unplug the TV. However for the price and performance, this TV still feels like a better choice than Samsung or other TV's in this price range.

This TV is absolutely amazing! The picture quality is great whether you’re watching TV or playing a game I also love the smart remote very snappy and responsive and the tv was easy to setup no hassle at all for those who are entering the field of 4k television this is a great start for beginners!

It's the eternal dilemma with purchasing a TV: every need is different, and everybody has an opinion. We have other TVs; this one was purchased to replace a low-end Samsung we had wall-mounted in the home office. The goal? Something to watch casually, as well as a large screen to put content from our computers on, be it via screen mirroring, second display, or casting. We knew we wanted 4K, and since we have two LG OLEDs, and we're quite happy with them, LG became the primary choice for brand. I'm visually-impaired, and their accessibility offerings are good. Not to mention that having menus work much like they do on the other sets is a bonus for me. Next, cost. This is not a TV for critical watching, but it had to be good enough to enjoy, as well as be a reasonable computer display when needed. So, not the cheapest, but not high-end OLED. Size-wise, we had limits, so we went for the 43", which has a slightly less awesome panel than some of the other sizes in the series. After narrowing it all down, this was the TV for us. So, how did it work out? Really, really well. I'm quite surprised at how nice this TV is for the price. The picture is nice and clear, it's easy to set up and use, and as a bonus, the speakers are so good that we aren't bothering to send sound to the Apple HomePod in the office. In shorty, it exceeded all of our expectations, and I can imagine it being a decent primary TV for someone who doesn't want to spend huge amounts but still wants a good picture and sound, with useful smart TV features. One more note: speaking of features, LG's support for Apple's AirPlay 2 and HomeKit is better than most other manufacturers. If you've invested in Apple's ecosystem, it fits in well.

I am a loyal LG TV fan and every time I make a purchase of another LG TV I am reminded again why I continue to purchase them. Color, sound ease of set up and beautiful clarity in picture. The price is set right for the quality LG offers. You'll also like the on screen curser from the remote a plus not realizing when I purchased it that it had this feature. Your money will be well spent with the purchase of this item, any LG TV for that matter.
