Bought this TV as an upgrade to my older 43 inch LG TV from 2018 which my wife now uses. Lol.
Got it at the Eagan Minnesota location Best Buy. Which was a pain to buy as the store is short staffed had to wait 25 mins to buy it. Geez. Wish people would go back to work and get off the welfare checks already!!!
The TV itself is great. Good picture quality, sound is good, Bluetooth is wonderful, and the magic remote is fair. The remote takes some learning, but it works as advertised. Not a bad TV for the price tho.

This is a solid mid range smart tv. Great value. This is not the best tv on the market, but it is very good for the price. If you want a step up from the cheapest tv, but a fancy OLED is out of your price range, I think this is a great choice. The lg app store is mostly fine, but missing a few apps that I used on my old fire stick. My favorite feature may sound silly, but I really like the remote control. It can move a curser on the screen. If you remember the old wii remotes, this tv’s remote can work in a similar way. The only negative is that the tv loses some of its brightness if you are looking at it at a significant angle. If your seating isn’t more or less in front of the tv, you might want to choose something different, but it’s not a problem for me.

TV works well, and is a great improvement over my 32 inch 1080p TV. webOS is actually pretty good and I have found that I don't use my Roku anymore. The sound quality is good and the picture quality is good as well. Overall I am pleased with the purchase. The only downside is the refresh rate when I watch hockey, but I didn't want to spend the money for a higher refresh rate. Even with that said, I would still buy this TV.

I broke a similar 49" LG UHD TV from 2019, and this one is slightly newer in ways. webOS is a bit different, for one thing.
I'm not a fan of the "magic remote", because if I move it too suddenly a mouse pointer suddenly appears on the screen, and the pointer is too awkward to use in practice most of the time, since it's not necessarily pointing where you're pointing. Just easier to navigate with the four direction buttons (the layout of the buttons is much better than the previous version's) most of the time.

I have had this TV for nearly a year now, so far its been a great tv. The color is vivid, good sound for internal speakers and a easy to navigate User Interface (UI). The Web OS has some unfortunate bloatware, but the OS is still faster than most that is used on the competition.
Overall it's a great TV and beats all the previous TV's we've owned in this class. You won't be disappointed.

LG = My Ride Or Die

After almost two years of forcing myself to deal with its many issues, I finally got fed up and took the opportunity to replace my Phillips 43" this year. My very first brand of choice was LG. Why, might you ask? In early 2021, I went on the search for a new TV for our living room. The entire family had been watching YouTube and other streaming sites on a puny 32" through a PlayStation 4 console, and while my parents were content with what we had, I wanted to upgrade. BADLY. After many long days of searching, I finally found "the one". An LG 55" smart TV, 4k with HDR. Read the reviews and ordered it.
That TV has never let me down. So when I once again had to search for a replacement TV, I ran right to this brand.
I'm happy to say that the LG UP8000 not only lives up to the standards of our living room TV, but exceeds them. The features on this thing are crazy. I consider myself pretty tech savvy and even I am still uncovering things I didn't know this beast could do. The UI on this TV is 100x better than the living room TV. The sound is great. The picture is smooth and bright and watching 4k movies on it is an utter dream. It's just what I wanted.
Thank you, LG. You're truly my ride or die.

My father-in-law was in the market for a replacement for his aging LG (2015) television. After some brief research and in-store demo, we opted for this model. Other than a cleaner UI with smart features and a cleaner, brighter picture, it’s more or less the same television. The price was reasonable, setup was fairly simple and he’s able to control the television with relative ease. We are happy with the purchase.

Out of the box this tv doesn't impress. The standard picture isn't bright enough. Here is what to do: contrast from 100 to 90, color saturation from 70 to 50. Blue setting off. Finally, turn the energy saving setting to off. The picture brightens to the right level. The picture is clearer and warmer. Beyond this make adjustments to your individual tastes.

I bought this LG UHD TV -43" for my mother for her birthday. It looks great and she loves it. The picture quality is excellent. LG remote works great with her cable box. Only one remote. That's great. But you need a Ph.D. to connect your Home Wifi to the LG TV.

This TV is great! I now have three LG TV's after having had Samsungs. The LG TV is super easy to setup and use. The picture is very good and you are able to adjust it to your preferences. One button to get to apps, screen mirroring and more feature. Even non-tech savvy people in my home are able to quickly learn this TV :-).

excellent for the price. The picture quality is great. We needed to replace another TV with a smart TV to cut the cord and this fits the bill. The size is perfect for a bedroom. You get so many free channels it wonderful to tell Uverse (AT&T) to stuff it and their super high prices.

This purchase was for a spare bedroom and we wanted something that we could stream TV shows on with minimal effort. This TV is perfect for this as the new WebOS allows us to stream our service without using our Fire Stick on the TV. Great picture, great sound, and easy to use.

I got a LG OLED for the living room and liked it so much at the store I got this 43" one for the bedroom. It really fit nicely and has a great picture. The sound quality is not there, but I guess that is expected with a smaller TV. Very easy to use and I am happy with it.

Purchased this for the bedroom and so far it has been performing well. Size is perfect, color is vibrant and clear, sound is up to par. What we like most is that it is very easy to use and navigate, to connect to our consoles, and to add apps. No complaints at all.

Picture and sound are great, set up was very easy. There are problems though: Bluetooth headphones randomly cut out on a regular basis (tried 2 different ones, fully charged, with the same results. The mouse pointer works great when it works but on a lot of pages/apps it doesn't work. For some reason the only Xfinity app available is a beta version which works but isn't like the app on a laptop/tablet. I tried streaming content through the "browser" function (PBS Masterpiece) - sometimes it worked, mostly it didn't. After hooking up a game console the TV would default to the HDMI port for the console whenever the TV was turned on even if the console power was off. I'm returning this TV and getting another brand.
