For the money this is a great tv. Picture is amazing and sound is also great (far better than my Vizio). Zero worries setting it up.

This LG struck a good balance between size, price, and pictuer quality. "Only" 49", but was a much needed, last minute, purchase...bought this TV the same day as our move into a new place...our old 55" LG did not make the trip and screen was broken on arrival. So far I've been pleasantly surprised by the picture quality. I also like the fact that it did not have any of the Smart TV functions built in. I've been a Roku fan, and a cord cutter, for a few years now and have no need for the Smart TV bundling.

TV is great. Very nice picture. I wish it had more inputs. Only 2 hdmi.

Happy with my purchase. Its fits perfectly in my living room and its the perfect size for my TV stand. HD programming is very clear and sharp. Love the silver framed bezel! Also the stand or "feet" as I call them that come with the TV are a nice change from the old pedestal look stands.

Great tv for a second TV. Good picture. The sound could be better, but a non expensive sound bar will fix that. Great price. Very happy.

Been on the market for a large TV for over a year . Tried to catch Black Friday deals but the lines and gimmicks were unbelievable and shopping around between stores ended up being a bust. For the money, Best Buy has the most competitive prices when it comes to the size TV. I've had it for a little over a month now and it's wonderful. Picture is crisp, colors are true to their hue and sound quality is rich ( especially since I didn't purchase the sound port ).

I had been checking out this television for months before purchasing it. I had originally gone on Black Friday for a Samsung model that was an ad special but had seen this was on sale as well. The set works great with an excellent picture, the only drawback to it is the lack of inputs. This was easily fixed for me since I have a high end AV receiver that handles all of the HDMI and other AV needs.

This review is also considering the actual price for this TV, as that is a huge factor considering everything you get with this TV versus other similar models on the market. The picture is super vivid and sharp with hardly any extra settings and add-ons that a basic TV just does NOT need to perform well. While this is NOT a smart TV, it is a very good starter TV with much to offer for the price! Highly recommended if on sale...

The setup was easy, the colors are deep and vibrant. Not much distortion when watching sports.

When I compared this TV to a Samsung model that Best Buy had promoted for Black Friday, the product images made it appear the LG TV was slimmer and had a smaller bezel, but the written specs indicated it was 2-3 inches thicker than the Samsung model. I cross checked the LG specs at the LG website and learned the images were correct and the specs were not. In my comparison, this pushed the LG ahead. It is indeed very slim (3 inches?) and the bezel too, so I am pleased. It looks great on the wall. I was disappointed to discover that my existing wall mount was not compatible. Mind you, the mount and TV are both VESA compatible, but the mount (x-shaped) happened to cover the input ports to the TV. I couldn't find any suitable spacers/standouts, so I was required to purchase a new mount which has holes to accommodate the ports; hard to say if I had known this whether it would have swayed me toward the Samsung. In a way I am glad I didn't know because this model looks so great. Video is perfect, but the speaker output is poor - not just quality, but volume. Occasionally I had the volume at 100% and depending on my source and the distance from the TV, it still was not loud enough. So I purchased an optical audio cable and connected to my existing stereo (pre-HDMI) and it works great. Now that the TV is mounted and connected to decent sound, we are enjoying our movie watching experience a lot.

This television has great picture quality. I had been used to an LCD HDTV before I purchased this one and there is a significant difference between them. The only niggling thing about the picture quality of this TV is that when the lights in the room hit the screen they have a prismatic effect. This is only an issue if you're sitting underneath the light on the floor close to the TV.

The TV works great and the picture quality is crystal clear. It was very easy to set up too. My only complaint would be about the design of the stand. Unlike most TV's, this does not have a central stand but two legs on either end of the TV. This makes most TV stands useless as its not wide enough, and we had to undergo a lot of inconvenience searching and getting a TV stand that was long enough.

The quality of the HD picture on this television is incredible! Even watching old shows from the 70's and 80's, before HD was a thing, three picture is clear and beautiful. With two HDMI inputs, I can leave my chromecast plugged in all the time, ready to watch Netflix at a moment's notice!
