Q: How far from the sides are the feet on the stand? Would this sit on a table that is 36 in. wide?
A: Although we do not have an exact measurement for how far apart the stand legs are, the LG 49" Class (48.5" Diagonal) 1080p LED TV, Model # 49LF5500 has a width of 43.5" and the stand legs are about 1" to 2" from the sides of the unit so even if you take the more generous difference of 2", that means at the least, the stand legs will be 39.5" apart so they would not fit on a 36" table...^IFV

Q: Color
A: The television is black.
Q: what is the difference between a "refresh rate" of 120 hz versus 60 hz
A: A 120Hz refresh rate should result in less blurring and interpolating in quickly changing video, like a runner's legs. That said, I am happy with he 60Hz set i just bought. And keep in mind that computer monitors are generally refreshing at 60Hz. If yoiu've watched video on your computer and have not been too distracted by blurred fast moving video, then maybe it's a bit of a non-issue. But I suppose it won't be long until all TVs are 120Hz (or higher).
