I recently purchased this LG 49" Ultra HD TV for our master bedroom. It was very easy to set up and the picture is excellent. I would highly recommend it.

Purchased a LG 65" OLED TV and received their 49" 4K Ultra HD LED TV as a bonus. Like we needed another TV, but as it turned out, we put it upstairs in the living room and have thoroughly enjoyed having a quality "spare" available when program viewing conflicts arise. This TV has excellent picture quality and matched with a quality sound bar, has out-performed our expectations.

Initially, I was not very pleased with the picture quality of this LG and was considering packaging it up and taking it back. I tried everything including online websites dedicated to setting picture quality and nothing was working. Eventually, I stumbled upon a reviewer that stated the 4K cable were a must. I've never had a 4K tv and didn't realize that requirement. One quick trip to the store and a simple hdmi cable change and we were in business. I'm still not sold on the 4K quality if your in the market for a new tv. Our 10-year old 55 inch Samsung that runs1080 with 60 hz refresh runs a great picture. The real difference is only slightly noticeable IMO.

This is an ultra thin and sleek television. Easy set-up, combined with an exceptionally clear picture, multi-functionality and affordable price make this the perfect mid-size television.

I love the picture on the LG HDTV. Great product for the price. Easy to use. Only down side of my set is that it requires use of USB source for a Smart connection.

Easy set up. Great Picture, Would have been nice for a few more HDMI ports, but not a big issue. Perfect size for a smaller family room.

This TV is awesome..the picture is so clear and it is very easy to adjust the settings. Using the internet is a breeze. I love this TV.

Bought this to replace an expensive Samsung that suddenly died...I can tell the difference but it's a good TV, has some nice contemporary options and a good deal for the money.

I was looking for a TV for our living room. My wife and children watch an unbelievable number of movies. I wanted a 55 or 60 inch 4K unit, but it turned out that where we wanted to position it a 49 inch TV would be our max available space. I absolutely do not feel that I settled for this TV. The picture is unbelievable, the built in sound is good. Old movies look great, new movies are mind blowing. Extra features work well. Took it out of the box, hung it on the wall, plugged it in, and we were in business.

It's a great TV. The colors are bright and the quality is amazing. Highly Recommended.

The tv has a nice picture quality and surprisingly good sound, but you need a soundbar, I would say. If you have multiple HDMI products then this TV is not for you, as it only has 2 of them. It is a smartTv with many cool features, including a working browser, roku, Netflix a gopro app and was easy to setup. I also could only put in 1 HDMI, since the 2 ports are facing out instead of on the side like you normally see on TVs. Unfortunately we will be forced to bring it back and buy something else.

The picture is fantastic, The color is terrific. I love watching my favorite shows.

I needed a large flat panel TV with a web browser that was compatible with some applications I needed to run for my business. I had tried two other brands and they did not work consistently. The web browser 2.0 on these TVs works great I bought 6 of these and use them in my office for monitoring data off the cloud. Couldn't be happier. Great TVs, nice picture, excellent browser software.

I have always loved LG products and was definetly not dissapointed with this purchase. Seeing it in the store doesn't even compare to when you get it home and watch it. The picture is so clear and crisp you feel like your in the room with the people on the screen.

Great all around quality ! Exceptional sound and a very nice picture ! Has it's qwirks a couple of light spots on black loading screens but doesn't affect the viewing experience of tv movies or gaming still retains sharp rich blacks for the viewing experience . Other than that you'll have to re sign in to your wifi for the webos platform every so often but other than that I'm extremely satisfied . Definitely worth the price and 4 out of 5

We weren't planning on buying a TV this season but with all the deals going on as of this past 2015 Black Friday weekend we decided to treat ourselves. We did purchase this 1st LG & loved it But, we decided within a day to up it to the 55" version which is just as nice as this 49" version. You definitely want to play around with the settings as we all see things differently so adjust to your particular taste and I believe you'll be very happy.

We bought this to use a monitor but really have enjoyed the smart tv features. Easy to use and set up

I wasn't sure if I would be happy with a "smart TV". I am so glad that my husband talked me into it! I set up the TV and the internet to it with no troubles at all. Very easy to set up and great directions. The apps are easy to use and to install- and I am NOT a "techie"person! The only complaint I have is "lag time'between when I push the button and the change I want occurs on the TV. I am not sure if this is just a characteristic of a "smart TV", but it's not enough of an issue to change my satisfaction with our purchase.
