This LG set is amazing. The picture quality is outstanding and the upscaling of both lower resolution and HD content is impressive. Once adjusted, the picture will be the reason you find yourself buying movies every chance you get. The set itself is sleek, thin, light, and has a mini sound bar built into the bottom (above average audio.) If you have been looking for your first UHD TV, this is it.

Got this LG TV for $499 on a Black Friday--last stock they had back then! Super happy I decided to get this UHDTV--it's verrrrrry slim, it's a smart tv(although it doesn't say on the package) and screen is crystal clear! Tried it several times watching Man in High Castle in Amazon Prime Video. Still working perfectly fine for month now. I'd definitely recommend buying this if you're looking for tv to put on your living room, bedroom... whichever room you choose will fit this one perfectly! :)

It gets the job done. The remote doesn't light up which makes seeing the tiny buttons in the dark difficult. The smart applications always disconnect from the wireless internet but magically finds it when I go into settings. Other TVs have no issues but this one always has trouble. The picture is great and the sound is ok. If you can it this one cheap go for it otherwise stick with Samsung or Sony.

I purchased this TV during Black Friday week for $499 and so far, I couldn't be happier. I'm moving to a new house and needed a smaller screen than my current 55" Panasonic plasma TV in order to fit into a built-in entertainment cabinet in my living room. This is my first venture into a 4K UHD TV and I'm quite impressed. The upscaling works great and does improve upon the HD 1080p picture. I've watched a few 4K videos on You Tube and the picture is awesome. Hopefully 4K will become the new standard and more and more programming will be available in this format. The Web OS 2.0 is easy to use and relatively quick to perform actions. Sound is adequate for general TV viewing, but for movies or if you want something more immersive, you'll undoubtedly want to invest in a soundbar or run the audio through an audio receiver. You just can't expect a flat panel TV to provide full-bodied sound. There weren't many customer reviews prior to making the purchase as apparently this was a new model made explicitly for Best Buy. Subsequently, some have complained about the refresh rate, but I haven't really detected excessive motion blur while watching sports programming. A couple have mentioned a lack of controls on the TV itself. It's there though, as there's a joystick control on the bottom middle of the panel to control volume and channel selection. The remote control is a bit simplistic but I plan to try out the LG remote control Android app. I'm a little concerned because some have reported this line of LG TV's dying after a short period of time. Hopefully, mine won't have this issue and I'll get many years of use out of it. If I do, it'll be an incredible value for the price paid.

I love the smart functionality of this tv. I basically only use it and am constantly switching between 4k YouTube videos and 4k Netflix. It's so beautiful. I can even use my phone as my YouTube remote. My only problem is I need a bigger desk because the tv is so big it's almost falling off ;)

First of all I need to Admit I was a Vizio fan. Vizio was my frist brand into HD tv.. but then when I finally update from HD to 4k.. Vizio was a let down, the picture quality and colors were awful. I then Bought the 65 LG 4k version of this tv and Wow!! I was blown away!!! The colors were bright, picture was clear, 4k looked alived and amazing!! I finally broke my bank and got me this 49 LG 4k for my room.. and once again, I am a Believer in LG!!! Prices are fair, Quality is Solid.. you wont be upset with your decision.

I like the 4G tv overall. The picture quality is good and the sound quality is good. The one thing I dislike is the feet on this tv. My previous LG tv had a center mounted base, this one has two feet near the parimeter of the unit.This caused an issue with the beautifly piece of antique furniture that we had the tv setting on.
