I bought an $1800 tv two years ago. It was an Lg oled. I hadn’t bought a tv in years, so I wasn’t aware of oled, 4K, ultra HD and all that jazz. But it was really really nice. Bright. Thin. Sharp. Forza (Xbox) made my jaw drop. The smart tv features were nice too since I’d been using chrome casts or Apple TV before Then my toddler broke the screen. Absolutely worthless set now (although I could salvage it for parts I suppose) He smashed a section with a die cast car and the whole display died. I was not prepared to buy another $1500+ tv, especially since nobody covers a miniature monster busting your screen with toys. So I checked out similar sizes, but without the fancy bells and whistles Insignia, TLR (?), Toshiba, yeah they were all near $300 but here comes a perfectly capable LG television. It’s certainly not as cool or as amazing as the oled, the step down is clearly noticeable. However, for about five to six times cheaper than what I paid the TV for, it does the job. Forza is playable. It’s still got apps. Its dimmer but the screen is matte so I don’t see fingerprints as bad as I did before. It’s a perfectly capable, high resolution set, made of cheap plastic and what appears to be the bare minimum that all new TVs come out with now. But until the kiddos are ready to respect my god dang appliances better, for At least, let’s say the next 3 years, this is a set that I would wholeheartedly recommend to parents, students in their first dorm room or apartment, or as an additional set. While I can not honestly say I would pay more for THIS set, it has made me realize I would NEVER spend over $1000 on my next set. And in the end, as long as your wallet is happy, and your kids get an hour of YouTube or Prime to let you make out with your wife or water the plants or finish your zoom call with the boss, doesn’t that matter the most? Highly recommended.

Great 4K Smart TV. My kids stream Netflix and Disney Plus straight from the TV. No need for them to have cable in their room. Great picture and very easy to use. The LG smart TV is great!

The tv is great, easy to setup (sort of, see below) and intuitive enough that most the features let you know when they’re available / how to access them. The only downside (for me) is not being able to download the HBO app. But with the airplay feature I can stream it from my phone in HD, so no real loss. Now, the part that’s not so easy to setup: the factory default picture settings are pretty garbage and not very intuitive for someone who is just now entering the 4k game. I had to google numerous different settings and read through several websites to get the picture to look right (running a PS4 and Xbox One X, so I knew at least the XBox should look amazing). Once I got it all sorted though, wow. Just wow. I never knew black could look so...black. The Dark Knight absolutely pops on this thing. All and all, for the price, an amazing tv. 4/5. Losing a star because of the inherent difficulty of setting up the picture quality.

Picture vibrant, great viewing size for bedroom, excellent features. Great Value for a quality Smart TV. Sound is exceptional the clarity and variety of sound options does not require sound bar, quality viewing/sound with whatever your doing, gaming movies or just tv. Responds quickly and accommodating Fire Stick without minimal buffering. Easy setup, clear instructions remote that does the job! ( wish it had a backlight but not a deal breaker) Lastly great curbside service from our Myrtle Beach BB. LG quality!

I got this TV for my bedroom after owning the 50” version in my living room for the last year. I would have bought the 50” again but it was sold out so I went for the 49” and wasn’t disappointed. Before buying the 50” I purchased a similar model from Samsung and had issues within the first 2-3 weeks. So I returned that one and went for the LG model. I haven’t had issues with either tv and find the setup and screen layout easy to use. Love these TVs. Would absolutely recommend.

Had been looking for a good mid-range HD television to replace my 40-inch 9 year old Sony. Picked this one up for $249 on a flash sale and so glad that I did as the picture is great at twice the price. As with most TVs, the sound could be better, but I’m planning on buying either a sound bar, or an integrated amp/speaker setup. The smart TV feature is also easy to use and navigate. No problems with it in the 10 months I’ve had it.

Well, this started as me thinking I was getting a good deal on a Toshiba 50 inch 4k open box TV. The description on BestBuy.com was, "condition good, missing some non essential parts." When I arrived at the store to pick it up turns out everything was missing, it was just a shrink wrapped tv panel. So I left that TV there and picked up this LG TV instead. More money that I wanted to spend for a secondary TV but this unit really shocked me when it came to picture quality so I ended up swapping it out with a Samsung and made it my main viewing TV. All's well that ends well.

I have been a loyal Philips TV owner for a long time because of their durability (this LG purchase replaced a Philips that was almost 12 years old and used daily). When I came across this LG, I knew the brand has a sound image for quality, so I thought that I would give it a shot. Turns out to be a good choice! Great quality picture, easy to connect and use (including WiFi for the Smart TV apps), and overall great value!

So I got this TV because of the price and name brand. It’s bigger than I imagined. The sound is good(since I am kinda deaf) and the picture quality it pretty fabulous. My biggest issue is the remote. Yep. THE REMOTE. The buttons are horrible and bad placement. To fast forward on amazon prime or any other app is insane. It’s extremely fast and hard to stop. But other then that... I love the tv.

Needed a great entry-level price TV for a home office set up and this LG 4K 49" was perfect for that. Chose LG for its great TV OS and since none of my other LG tv's have let me down. Great little TV. All that's missing is the magic remote, but I understand it wasn't included at this price point (love it on our other main tv's).

So glad that manufacturers are not putting the "sound box" on the front of the TV rather in the back. Pictures are brilliant. In short, the price was right; the DISH techs made this fit in the available space by putting it on the wall. I'm happy with it.

I bought this TV for my husband to play his video games when his gave out, but ended up taking it over the same day we bought it. The screen is big and there are different picture qualities to choose from. The set up was simple and easy, I'm definitely looking to buy another for my living room.

Great TV. It works with Xfinity Beta (no box needed) cutting that monthly cost is fantastic. Clear picture, easy to use, does what a smart TV should. With the wireless you don't even need the cable cord. Just the power cord. Perfect for a room that is not wired for cable.

Five Stars for the picture, ease of use--did not have to fiddle with the picture quality--it was excellent directly out of the box. A point off because the plastic feet for the stand make the TV look incredibly cheap. Never expected aesthetics to factor in a TV--but the feet are that bad. Ultimately put the TV on the wall and made that moot.

I LOVE this new TV! I replaced an older model with this LG and I am very happy with the overall performance and picture of this model. I have another LG in my house and that is why I decided to look at this model. The picture is crisp and clear, this model has various picture modes that can be changed to customize your experience while viewing or environment. I currently like "VIVID" and "Standard" I purchased on sale and I've overall pleased with the TV and my purchase experience.

Everything is great about this TV except for the 4 corners of the screen being noticeably dimmer than the rest of the display. The two standout features are the sound(really good for such a thin TV!) and the ability to install the Xfinity Stream app via WebOS. Viewing angles not the greatest, but makes for a great bedroom TV.

We looked at several Smartv brands and decided on the LG. The clarity is amazing and the sound needs no added sound bar. We mounted the unit on the wall and it was a quick and easy install. Setup was as simple as it can get. Very satisfied with this product.

49" LED tv for a sub $300 and quality manufacture, no big complaints except i wish the feet were more sturdy. Made of lightweight plastic, the tv is light itself but the feet should be heavier to help avoid any accidental tip overs. Besides that im satisfied. Good colors, decent sound, smart TV apps.

Easy to function using the remote. This is the first time turning on the TV gets me so excited. Everytime I turn on the TV I learned something new pertaining to the TV. Its a great experience to witness that TV picture quality can get better in due time.
