Love the sound and easy to set up (with wireless subwoofer). Profile looks great with our LG OLED tv. Stream music using Bluetooth and HDMI surround sound for streaming TV from AppleTV and LG Blu-ray player for movies. Contemplating adding wireless rear speakers. Pricy but excellent.

It’s better than other sound bars, especially for music. The aftermarket wireless speakers and base make movies a little bit better.
It’s long and it’s wide snd it’s heavy. Might be best on a mantle

I love the lg soundbar. Huge upgrade from my previous sony one. I have it hooked up with the Hdmi arc. I am having issues with my subwoofer cutting in and out. It's not far away from the soundbar to be losing connection, so I moved it right under under the soundbar and it still does it sometimes but not as much. Thinking about returning it and getting another one to see if its just defected. Hopefully that work because Idk what else to get after this. That's the only thing I don't like. Great for movies and videos games. Music is ok but I play music on BASS setting and it sound great. Not the same bass effect as the movies and games but it's still nice...anyone else have this issue?

First, I upgraded to a 75” LG Nano 9 TV after agreeing with my wife to simplify our entertainment system. We had a Sony receiver with Klipsch surround speakers, and knew that switching to a sound bar would not provide the same surround effects as our current system. That being said, this sound bar provides really good sound and actually does simulate the movie surround sounds pretty well; Well enough to send my dogs to the door barking or chasing other sounds. Setup was easy, with an option to run two devices to the speaker then to the TV- I choose to run the devices to the TV then the TV to the speaker (HDMI ARC). Base seamlessly connects wirelessly and sounds great in movies with a lot of base. The remote is simple to use, but I wish it had back lighting. Bottom line, we are very happy with this sound bar. It is large, but fits great with our TV. If you want true surround sound, LG has a 7.2 version with rear satellite speakers.

it is on a pricey side, but it's worth it. The sound is deep and clear. I mounted it on the wall and it looks slick and stylish, not an eyesore. Connects easy to my tv, phone, or tablet.

The LG Soundbar system with wireless subwoofer and Dolby atmos is absolutely amazing. It makes streaming music so beautiful and entertaining. The design looks amazing, very sleek and trendy , and it does fit in with other appliances in the house. This soundbar has Google assistant, and my toddlers love it because, they can just say Google play this or that.it has a built in Google chromecast that gives you ability to cast music from spotify, pandora or iheart radio. You can actually cast some music wireless from your phone via iheart radio, Spotify, Pandora and YouTube because, it has a built in google Chromecast. This fit perfectly with our 86 inches Lg Tv. The audio is great because it circulates round the house in an even sound. It makes watching a 4k movie a whole new experience. I love the resolution because its high, it has a USB play back and can be remotely controlled with your smart phone. It came with a remote, a wall mount bracket which is great, and batteries too.

Amazing Soundbar for Home

We have recently acquired LG SL10YG Soundbar to replace our home dedicated sound system and I must say this soundbar has met all of my expectations and even exceeded some. First of all, the sound reproduction is perfect for any room size. The sound is well balanced and you can adjust it according to the content you are watching. The dialogue in the movies sounds clear and crisp and if your movie has a lot of bass this 570W system will not disappoint you! The design of the soundbar is well thought and has a wireless subwoofer that can be placed anywhere in your room (for more booming effect, try placing it near your couch, you will feel the difference literally!). The soundbar itself is pretty big so make sure you have enough space.
It is packed with the latest sound technology thanks to Meredian, has dual HDMI ports and supports Dolby Atmos, DTS-X and other Dolby sound types.
We have really enjoyed this soundbar and are happy with its performance. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.

Bought the demo unit for considerably less (around $450). No box, no remote, just the unit itself. Found out later, many of the functions I need are on the remote. Luckily, LG has a companion app for just the sound bar that mirrors the remote. Great sound, good separation, sub box has some solid bass. The “Night Mode” is a plus, brings up the center channel to highlight dialogue while softening the bass response. Super helpful when trying to enjoy a movie while the family sleeps. Don’t use Google assistant but signed up for it to test it out. Works perfectly. Glad I didn’t pay full price. TBH, not worthy of its $1000+ price tag

Great product.
Pros:
Easy to setup.
Sounds great on lows mids and high
Great extension to Google’s IOT.
LG sync (volume) if you have a LG TV. Great improvement from standard LG Soundbar.
Less footprint for similar sounding setup
Cons:
Takes up a lot of real estate on TV stand
Bass isn’t as strong for music. Ok for TV/Movie
Overall great product.

IT WAS VERY EASY TO GET HOOKED UP. SOMETIMES IT GETS LOUD USUALLY DURING COMMERCIALS. IT SEEMS LIKE AT LOWER VOLUME YOU CAN'T HEAR IT UNTIL IT GETS TO 12 OR 13. LITTLE PRICEY EVEN THOUGH I GOT IT ON SALE.

Great sound bar easy to use with a LG TV and sound quality is excellent. Replaced an older Yamaha and this sounds much better. My parents like it so much they bought one. Only downside is with the LG OLED TVs it’s tall enough it blocks a small part of the bottom of the tv.

I bought this LG soundbar as well as the LG Powered Wireless Rear Channel Speakers and I really love them both together. I have a large open room where it would have been extremely difficult to run wires for the subwoofer and rear surround speakers, so this setup is perfect. I have the rear surround speakers on stands behind the couch and the whole system sounds amazing. I was concerned initially because I had read other reviews where people said the center channel was not loud enough, or tinny and the rear surround speakers did not work well but I can say with confidence they are wrong. Initially, the subwoofer and rear speakers were overpowering the front speakers, but I spent a few minutes on-line reviewing the manual and there is a way to adjust the speaker levels. I adjusted the levels for the center, front and Atmos speakers and that solved the issue. I only have 2 complaints. 1) You can only adjust the speakers together as a pair, i.e., you cannot make only the left or right speaker louder as far as I can tell. You can only increase the volume together as a pair. 2) The remote was not intuitive for me. This was easily solved by reading the manual after downloading it from the LG site. Overall, I'm really happy I bought these to go with my new LG OLED tv.

This is a great soundbar. I bought it to pair up with my LG OLED and it is a great match. The sound is excellent but I will say it is much improved with the additional wireless rear speakers. By itself it is a great improvement on the TV speakers. With the wireless rears, it blows it away. The subwoofer is amazing and is more than sufficient, it's quite powerful and for the record, I have experienced none of the bluetooth connection dropout others have complained of. Mine sits across the room from the soundbar (14ft or so), under a steel end table. I was hesitant to buy this because LG isn't a very well known brand in the sound arena but glad I did. I have two annoyances. 1) You MUST use Google Home to set it up. I work in IT and it was not the easiest thing in the world. Afterwards, I disabled it but I just hate the idea of inviting Google to invade the privacy of my home. I feel the same about Alexa as well and many "smart technologies" aggregating your every move to dissect and predict behaviors... no thanks! 2) The sound is good out of the box, the presets are limited and there is no auto sound calibration app so plan to spend some time tweaking the individual speaker settings. It isn't tough, just time consuming to get everything just right.

I have three major complaints about this soundbar. First, it is very big and if placed in front of your LG TV on a stand versus hanging on the wall it will cover about 3 inches of the bottom of your TV. Why would LG make a soundbar that doesn't fit under their own brand of TV's? If you mount on a wall, I guess this won't be an issue, but I had to add a 3" piece of wood under my TV, just to clear the soundbar. Second, the wireless sub-woofer is constantly dropping sound. I researched on the internet and tons of people are complaining about the same issue. I have done all troubleshooting recommended and can't fix the problem. Third and my biggest complaint is that the voices are lower than the music when watching tv and movies. You cannot hear dialogue because the music is so loud and there is no option on the soundbar remote or menu to fix this. For the amount of money i paid for this soundbar, I am very disappointed.

It's a pretty big difference in sound quality from my previous sound bar. I went from a JBL 3.1 which sounds GREAT for music. The quality of this soundbar is fantastic. I LOVE the ease of use. It has its own app you can download and control it from that. The atmos effects are pretty good from just a soundbar. It's definitely not the same as having a dedicated home theater setup like I have on my bonus room but for the use of space and less clutter I don't think you can do any better than this LG.

Great sound quality and easy setup for beginners. It turns out I really love the google assistant as well. It is a rather large soundbar however, so it should only be bought if you have a larger tv, otherwise it’d look pretty mismatched.

Sound is good and you will have plenty of volume. Could increase wattage to center channel some and I would consider 4.5 stars. ZVOX has a little better sound quality for much cheaper prices but don't have Dolby atmos. Buy this when on sale for sure, I got it for $699 and am not at all unhappy with this purchase for that price.

The only complaint I have is that the item wasn't what was advertised. Might have been a mistake on the website. Other than that, this thing sounds great and I haven't turned it all the way up. I can hear the conversations during movies and the way the speakers are setup does make it sound like action is taking place behind you.
