Subwoofer and surround constantly cutting out. Had way cheaper soundbar a that we’re a lot better

I purchased this as "Open-Box Excellent". - It was delivered in a damaged and dirty shipping box. - When I opened the box; it contained a dirty and lightly wrapped sound bar. The subwoofer was not wrapped. It was left to roll around during shipping. - The Owners Manual, Remote, Cables, and Power cord for the subwoofer were missing. This purchase was a waste of time.

If you looking for an oversized, bulky sound system with sub-par quality - this LG - 5.1.2-Channel 570W Soundbar System with Wireless Subwoofer and Dolby Atmos with Google Assistant is the product for you. I tried it for 48hrs until I decided to return it to Best Buy in exchange for the Bose 700 sound system. Note: My LG ThinQ TV was 65" and the LG sound system was still oversized and too bulky to keep.

So recently received this beautifully built sound bar, its loud and I love it, for the price I would have expected rear speakers to come with it, instead of having to go and buy them separately but I can buy them at a different time, ok so let's get to it. Its beautiful I love how it looks and feels it's not a flimsy or light sound bar, infact it's very long, perfect for my TV stand but maybe to big for yours make sure you measure where you will be placing this, it sounds AMAZING at high volumes, not so much at low volume but if you're using a sound bar for low volumes just use your TV speakers, sometimes audio gets lost or echo like but I know it just because this is a sound bar and not a real 5.1.2 set up al though all the channels are there rear speakers really need to be in back of you, these rear firing speakers do an ok job, the only issue I have really seen with this sound bar is sometimes the wireless sub disconects, other than that I truly love it.I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.

Returned it after one day. The sound was scratchy and horrible. Not worth a dime. The salesman told us it was the number one sound system. Crap..it’s plain crap. Bought the Definitive sound system in its place...excellent

Sub cuts on and off. Thinking about returning it. Honestly not worth the money. Imagine watching a movie and the sub cuts on and off. No Good. Read the reviews! I didn't and now I regret it.

This was ordered July 10th and it still has not come in. I've been a loyal customer for over 25 years. Can't wait to get this. Today's date is...July 31st and my account has been charged.

As a person who has owned a discrete and dedicated 5.1 Surround system with a high end Receiver I have never trusted a soundbar, until I gave LG SL10YG a try and a good testing of its capabilities. First of all, the industrial design of this LG soundbar is superb. The manufacturer chose great materials to envelope its 5.1.2 speakers. Its slick design and speaker position allows it to sit next to your TV or can be mounted on the wall and with its built-in gyroscope the soundbar can still project the sound and bounce it off at you. You can also purchase an additional set of rear speakers that will add so much more to the sound stage and make your system shine with a total of 7.1.2 speakers. It was really easy to set up the SL10YG and get it pump beautiful music: its wireless subwoofer connects automatically and can be placed anywhere in your room. The soundbar has two HDMI in and 1 HDMI out and support for ARC (audio return channel). I found ARC feature to be very useful and works instantaneously with our LG OLED C9 TV. Normal TV programming where dialogue is more prominent really surprised me as it comes out clean and crisp. I also used some 4K Blurays with Dolby Atmos and DTS-X and I was very pleased how this soundbar handled sound processing and put me right in the middle of the action. The bass was pretty impressive and can be also adjusted manually. LG has created a companion app called LG WiFi Speaker which I would also recommend as it has a ton of values that can be changed easily on your phone. LG also supplied a remote control that is has a dedicated Google Assistant button. Yes, this soundbar has Google resources at your hands and you can control your Smart Home devices, ask it to play music or help you with any task you need information about. Chromecast support is at its best with this Soundbar! LG SL10YG can handle your Hi-Res Music files as well as it supports most surround audio formats, including Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital, DTS Master Audio, DTS High-Resolution Audio and LPCM. The SL10YG also supports Hi-Res Decoding of FLAC (Up to 192kHz) and OGG (Up to 48kHz), WAV, MP3 and AAC files. LG has joined with Meridian engineers and created a great sound system that truly echoes the emotion of the artist's original performance whether it is a music file or a movie full of blasts & dynamic sound. I would absolutely recommend this soundbar and it is going to replace my speaker set up. Life is good with LG indeed.

This soundbar did not last year. Best Buy could not repair it. It did not appear to be a good value.

Did not like compared to the Polk system! Didn’t need geek squad for this item. Returned it. But guess what? I got my money back with no problem.

DID NOT WORK WHEN I GOT IT. COULD NOT CONNECT TO WIFI. TRIED ALL. HAD GEEK SQUAD TRY. DIG NOT WORK. BESTBUY REFUSED TO RETURN IT???

Will be returning this - not user friendly at all!

This system sounds great, but is limited by finicky subwoofer that oddly connect fine one day then cut out intermittently other times. We've only had it a day, if it doesn't find the path of righteousness soon, it's going back. Oddly this was bought on November 30th with a build date of February 2019 and I've been unable to locate a firmware update. The subwoofer connectivity issue is pretty common online with limited resolution.

First one the sound was amazing! BUT the wi/Fi. Bluetooth and Google reciever was broke i couldnt set up crap! So i returned it and got a second one and this one is a tremble monster in which has no bass what so ever, now the first one was fantastic so i know it shouldnt sound like this and i have tried every which way to correct it but NOPE! LG customer service sucks and they dont know their head from their butt ( outsources and read from a script/manual which I did and could do ). I am returning today with one more chance 3 strokes and LG is out they can take everything back!! I bought the LG tv and that wifi google connector is broke as well which ill need a new tv

The sound is crystal clear and theater quality. It was very easy to set up. The built in Google assistant is a added bonus and compliments any tv. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.

I searched for an Atmos soundbar and picked up 3 of them before finally settling on this one. The deep base that it creates is amazing, action movies and sporting events sound great on the SLY10. The HDMI Arc works flawlessly, I use an Apple TV 4k to consume content and there have been no issues with the soundbar. Extremely easy setup and since installing it we have not looked back. I love LG and this product is top notch. I would recommend this to anyone in the market for a Dolby Atmos soundbar.

I have been an Audiophile for 40yrs. In the store the performance really grabbed my attention as I was looking to expand my OLED C8 sound quality. Anyone can be mislead even one with a lot of experience. I have great respect for Meridian Products but they really got the midrange wrong with this one. It wasn't even a contest here with my OLED C8. The OLED's mids were far more warmer and more intelligible. The LG's sound bar's were very thin. In the end if a product doesn't get the mids right its not worth the bother especially for the price of this one. So after working with it for a day I'm taking it back. And BTW if you run the C8's Audio Calibration I think you'll find that it's going to beat quite a few sound bars. My living room is 14 x 16 and I have plenty of volume to work with. I might add I think the C8's sound is some of the best I have experienced with flat panel TV's. Build quality is pretty high, but I expect that for the price of the product

This soundbar is amazing and sounds clear and concise. It's has a sleek look and looks great on our entertainment center. Lots of settings and easy to use. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.

We were moving and we didn't want to deal with all the cables from my old 5.1 system SonySTR DH800 which was very loud and good surround sound for the late 2000's. I am not impressed by this system. Volume is lacking at times, you lose the conversations, the volume itself sometimes goes down on its own mid movie (don't know if it is a defect) it is NOT good for music. Unable to find a setting that will be decent for music. If you have a small room then it might be good. Honestly I am unable to experience the Dolby Atmos with this system. So my son inherited the system for gaming and he is OK with it. Way too expensive for the quality of sound that produces. Easy to set up, it is descent.

i am not a sound bar guy but this one is on another level once you get the rear speakers this shines its a lil pricey but get it on a good sale atmos content is unreal
