Never set up the subwoofer

They didnt hook it up for some reason which was never clearly explained. SO I have had to just live with a mediocre sound bar. It is OK but I would never have purchased had I known I would not be getting what I paid for. When I have inquired about it I have simply got the run around. Which is why I gave up.

I have a brand new LG OLED TV this is connecting to, so it isn't a cross manufacturer issue. Brand new HDMI high speed cable, 3 feet in length. TV connects to another soundbar via ARC every time, instantly, no problem. If I had to guess, this is a Soundbar firmware issue. I could switch to optical, but then Atmos won't work, which is why i paid a premium for this. To get it to work, you have to factory reset the soundbar every time. This isn't a unique issue to me, look at the LG user forums, search the product number on this, you will see numerous posts on this. Of course, I am an idiot and didn't look at the return policy, so I troubleshooted for a week and now I am outside the return policy and stuck with this dumpster fire of a soundbar.

Sounds great with problems

Didn’t sound near as good with movies. Listening to music was terrible. Had it cranked and could still carry on a normal conversation right in front of it. With that being said it’s probably amazing for smaller room. Ours is pretty big. Returned it and went back to my old 5.1 system
