Reality is you can but you shouldn’t. This one is awesome with the 5 different sound settings it has. Simply to install. Defiantly glad we stepped up and got this one.

There may be a lot more to configure in order to enable it, but for now I have found it sub-par and needs to be quite loud in order to get the effect at all.

The upward firing speakers make a difference and the side speakers give off good side channel action . The sub does hit but only in high volume only issue I had

I heard in the store, another person with Verizon(same as mine) Internet had the same problem.

Only had it for a week so far. Still getting accustomed to it and I’m not sure if I hear the true Atmos effect but it does the trick.
