I would also recommend purchasing the rear speakers for more of an immersive sound as well as a louder system when listening to music. I would also say to download the app for more control and adjustments of the sound. I’ve had other surround sound systems this one is most enjoyable of them all. I think the atmos sound helps as well and makes a difference.

It truly feels like a theatre in my basement. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 star is because it very high volume, so of the treble is so sharp that it'll have a little snap to it. Get's annoying. Best fix is to turn the gains down on the highs within the app on your phone.

I have a hearing problem, and after listening to the LG SP9 for a week, realized I could hear dialogue better on the SP8. I decided to return again to get the LGSP8 back. Thank you to Roger at Best Buy in Spring Hill for being so understanding in this. That Best Buy location is the best. The LG SP8 is worth every dollar. Dialogue clear and music and movies sound great.

However, I would recommend buying Samsung - HW-Q950A 11.1.4ch Sound bar with Dolby Atmos - Black instead of this one. There is a very distinctive difference between them. That's what I decide to keep.

Connected to an log tv and you cannot adjust sound with tv remote. After 2 weeks they sound busted. They do not seem loud when watching tv, music is great through them.
