The sound bar retails for $999.99; I purchased it as an open box special for $450.00. I am happy with my purchase. The atmos sound is flawless. Do yourself a favor and pick this up. You won’t regret it.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly, maybe it’s the acoustics in the room, but after about an hour of switching between my internal tv speakers back to this to compare, I realized there’s no way it’s worth the money. it’s hard for me to notice any real difference while watching movies. I own the 77” LG CX, I’m sure this plays a big role in what I’m saying, but the difference was too nominal for me. Now as soon as you play some music it makes a world of difference, the Sp9ya is light years better than my tv, but for some reason LG has either failed miserably at movies on sound bars or absolutely knocked it out of the park on OLED TV screen speakers. Either way, I’ll be returning this and buying a dedicated bookshelf system for my music.

Good for media, bad for gaming

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not before you read, I only mean Dolby Atmos is bad for gaming, and Dolby Digital, not uncompressed sound. I paired this with my Series X to see if it would sound any better, and it did. The thing sounds amazing, especially with the bass, but there’s a catch. When using Dolby, it has about a 1-2 second delay, which you can’t fix. The only way to fix it is too plug the HDMI to your Xbox straight to your soundbar, the this gets rid of 120 FPS, but for some odd reason, it doesn’t delay with any media apps. Neflix, Apple TV, and Hulu and seemed perfectly fine? I would honesly save your money if you plan to pair this mainly with a gaming console.
