Amazing Set!

However I don't have problems that friends have with this turning off during quieter bits of movies and shows. Another problem is when using it for spotify it will disconnect randomly and I'd have to re-connect it... Sometimes after 3 songs, sometimes never.

Excellent alternative to full surround sound

Decided to splurge a little and go with this 5.1.3 system rather than a 2.1 or 3.1 system. It is well worth the money, especially if you don’t want to commit to having a full surround sound system with satellite speakers. That said, I also love that you can add satellite speakers if you want. Highly recommend this unit if you want high quality, but don’t want the hassle of traditional surround sound.

If you use the AI setting, remember the sound quality depends on the stream from the TV you are receiving. For instance, if you are watching an action movie on a third party app such as Netflix and is in Dolby it sounds great. Regular local stations you may have to adjust. Also remember it depends on the room you are putting in and the acoustics.

Apartment type soundbar

We returned this and purchased the Samsung - Q-Series 9.1.4ch as we were more impressed with the bass on that. Overall it's nothing wrong with the LG 5.1.3 soundbar for this price but you just won't get the bass that shakes your house with this. Great for apartments I guess.
