- Automatically senses how full the machine is and adjusts water levels according.y
- Has a ton of different options for virtually any laundry situation, no matter how small or large
- Very quiet - no need to shut my laundry room door any more!
CONS:
- None!
If you're looking for a quality top-loading washer, give this one a look. Highly recommended!

We switched to a top loader after having a front loader for the last decade. My wife couldn't be happier. We were having issues with some loads coming out stinky, even after thoroughly cleaning the tub. We no longer have that problem. This washer can do it all. It has a bazillion different cycles and the capacity allows for a weeks worth of bath towels all at once, plus room to spare. It uses more water than the front loader which we actually like. My wife actually watched a whole cycle to see how well it agitated the clothes. It's quite impressive how well it agitates. A bit pricey but money well spent.

The washer is quiet, it is easy to load. No more off balance spinning. It does an incredible job at cleaning. It is high tech and I love the variety of settings to choose from. Also the alarms are adorable sounding.

We had tried a water saving washing machien before without an agitator and found the loads took at least twice as long as the initial target for the load to complete. This washing machine is right on with washing time estimates. The capacity is larger than our previous machine, so we are having fewer loads, using less water, and less detergent with the high energy detergent. Couldn't be happier with our choice. We decided upon this model based upon Consumer Reports ratings.

I needed to replace my front loader & my husband refused to get another one due to all the mechanical problems we had with it. However, I loved how it cleaned & was really apprehensive about getting a top loader. I have been so happy with this machine and so far have no complaints. My clothes are so clean & my whites that I have always been so proud of continue to be with this machine. The tub is huge & deep which some have complained about but you should know that when you purchase it. No complaints from me there. I've had this machine since July and so far I love this machine!

I purchased this LG washing machine in early 2018 and I am very happy with it. Friends had told me that they didn't like the newer machines because they don't always cover the clothes with water. This one has a button to push if you want to use extra water with the setting. I use it a lot, but not always. Clothes come out clean and on most settings, not very wet. I highly recommend it. Now I just hope it lasts for many more years!

Great washing machine. Does not shake much or make unnecessary noise in a first floor laundry room with ceramic tile floor. Fits much better in a smaller laundry room than front loaders on stands. I like how it determines the least amount of water to use for how much laundry you put in it.
The only issue we've had with the LG is that some metal rings on curtains got damaged. Maybe we should have washed them on a more gentle setting.
We tried to purchase Samsung product from another store, but we had multiple quality and delivery issues, so we returned the Samsung.

We thought we wanted the 4.9 CU FT washer and they were out of stock. Went with the 5.2 for a couple hundred dollars more and are glad we did! The machine is quiet and it "balances" itself before starting the cycle. It's energy efficient and completes large loads in short order. The extra space allows for us to go fewer times between washes. We are a family of 4 - 2 teenagers - so it's been great! The size also allows for us to wash larger items such as bed spreads and comforters. So far so good!

A few years back I followed everyone's recommendation to get a front loader washer, to save on water. I hated it from the start: the stooping over to empty it, the sense that it never really washing my clothes completely, and the constant musty smell of standing water if I didn't leave to door open for it to air out. When it broke, I was elated to buy a new one...and going back to a top loader.
I did my due diligence research and determined this LG top loader was best for my needs...and everyone was right. This is a GREAT washer. It has no central agitator so it's easy on clothes, and it does a great job at washing. It also weighs the clothes and evenly distributes the weight, so it uses only the right amount of water and during the spin cycle is rock solid without shuffling around on the floor. I've had this for about a month and am very happy with my decision. My salesman at Best Buy was very helpful and the delivery / installation guys were great.

This washer is very smart; and you will be too if you read the manual. It really explains everything you need to know as it is completely different than typical old fashioned washers. I will say that it takes getting used to though. My clothes are cleaner than ever and this model handles delicates perfectly. A king size comforter just barely fits in case you are considering that. Love the end of cycle chime.

This washer is huge and has several pre-programmed wash mode settings. Also allows for user programmable modes. What used to be two wash loads is now less than one full load.

My new washer is fabulous. The cycles seem very long, but it doesn't use much water. I am anxious to see if my water bill decreases over the next 3 months. I love all the features, such as bright whites, bedding and sanitize. I have used them all and the items do seem cleaner. I don't like the drawer where you put the soap since if you use the pods they don't fully dissolve, so I just drop them in the bottom of the washer.

The washer has worked well for the couple months I have had it, doing loads of laundry every day. The machine is pretty quiet overall, which is great, and clothes come out as clean as I would expect.
There are lots of features the machine has, like extra rinse cycle, but it is not quite as straight forward to change some settings as I would prefer (for example, the instructions in the manual to change the end of cycle chime volume do not always work) and it always resets the cycle to its default setting. These are minor gripes, but it makes using the machine slightly more frustrating than I'd prefer.
Overall though, I am happy with the machine and recommend it.

This is our first new washer since 2000. It's so spacious inside, yet smaller outside than our old monster. Looks great, made well, and definitely gets things clean. The Bedding setting is a big plus. We are currently washing things for the novelty of it, haha! Looking forward to many years of use with this sharp looking, quiet, efficient and effective washing machine.

Turbo Wash and load sensing are the best features

I love that this washer evaluates each load to determine how long the wash cycle needs to be. When combined with Turbo Wash, I've seen the average Normal load wash time switch from 58 minutes to 28 minutes. Larger loads usually take the full amount of time, but it is still about the same as the 20-year-old top-loader that I replaced.
I love that my queen comforter fits easily.
I don't like that the Towels setting defaults to add fabric softener. Even if you do use fabric softener on clothes, you should never use it on towels since it makes them less absorbent. All it takes is a button press to remove it from the cycle, but you have to remember to check for it.
Overall, I'm really happy with this washer.
