We have this tv in our bedroom, and it's awesome. I think you could put this in just about any room. Also, the sound is fine, plenty enough volume. I like the smart tv apps and setup was easy. Also I think it looks sleek with the gray border. Good TV for the price.

This TV was on sale during Labor Day. We received an awesome deal for the price we paid. It has all the feature and now we are easily able to navigate Netflix and other things without jumping through a lot of commands. The picture quality is great, life like on the screen and very clear. We are very happy with our purchase.

I originally bought a beautiful Sony TV, but it was so fragile that the panel cracked either during shipping or setup. So I went back and bought the LG since it was sturdier looking but seemed to have a nice picture. When I got it home, it had everything going for it. The speakers face downward instead of behind and are loud, the picture is very good, it is truly sturdy and has the standard VESA mount (unlike the Sony), the Smart TV features are excellent, the remote and menus are well laid out. Basically everything is awesome (well, the stand is a bit cheap, but I'm not using it anyway). For the price, this thing is a home-run!

This is my third LG TV and each one has provided an excellent picture and great reliability. One caution with this TV is the support. If you are not wall mounting the TV, your TV stand will need to be the same width as the TV since LG has switched to two supports, one at each end of the TV instead of one support in the middle of the unit. This unit does not have the magic remote, but the smart TV functions are still easy to access and work well. This TV is a great value for the price, you won't be disappointed.

I went to Best Buy for a different advertised TV but saw this one and was more impressed. The color is gorgeous and the picture is crystal clear. Set up was a breeze. Manuvering thru the settings and apps is so simple as I never used a smart TV before this purchase. I also bought a blue ray and a sound bar that was so simple to connect. I am sooo glad my movers broke my TV and forced me to upgrade from my 8 yr old plasma!! I can finally use Netflix on my TV instead of my laptop and so much more! Win Win WIn!

This TV has a great size, and was affordable for the size and features. Since it's a Smart TV, you can access the internet. The down side is, you need to use the remote control arrow keys for the keyboard which is time consuming when you access the internet.

I went in to the Best Buy store with the goal of leaving with a 50" LED TV for $600. I wanted it to have 1080p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDMI, amongst other criteria. The guy in the TV area ranked this TV 3rd behind a Samsung and another brand for color in the picture. The other 2 were out of stock, so I got this one. I'm not using it for gaming, just watching TV. It has not disappointed me. It's slim, good size for my living room, easy to set up. It does have a larger support than most TV's, but my console fits it perfectly. If you wall mount, it won't be an issue.

We compared this picture in store next to 6 other tvs and this one had the best picture! It was a great price and a new model. The apps are easy to use. Overall happy with this purchase and would recommend!!

I had originally purchased another TV from a competitor and it was a different brand. Thank goodness it was defective because after taking it back to the other store, I decided that I wanted a TV that looked better than that piece of junk. So I researched more TVs and came across the LG LED 50" TV. The reviews were very positive so I decided to order one from Best Buy. AND WOW IS THIS A NICE TV!!! The picture is AMAZING! And the smart features are awesome too! The only flaw (and it's that way with all flat TVs) is that the speakers are designed to point down to minimize the border around the TV. So unless you're mounting it on the wall, you will probably also need a sound bar. (And I got that and it rocks too!)

I bought this after my 4 month old Sony was fried by a lightning strike. The quality of the picture is equal to the more expensive Sony and I like the user interface better on the LG. The "Smart" functions keep getting better, I get all my TV via antenna and the built in program guide is great. I still use my Roku for movies but the LG has the feature built in. The quality seems better than the old "Lucky Goldstar" days, time will tell. With the rapid changes in TV technology owning a TV that will last 10 years is just not as important as it once was. For the price point I think this is a good value.

We decided to upgrade my father-in-laws 36" console Toshiba TV that he has had for almost 13 years at Christmas. Like most Father-in-Laws, he usually does not show emotions for the gifts we buy him. But, we got one over on him this year. When we brought it into the room, my wife noticed a smile creep across his face. The picture is awesome even with s non HD direct TV box on it. He loves this TV a lot. This is a perfect TV for his living room in size. Quality of sound, picture and aspect of the TV is awesome. Ease of installations was great. 5-star TV for the price we paid

This is a great 50" TV for under $400. Easy set up and awesome picture. Internet set up was easy too. It has exceeded my expectations.

Was looking to buy Samsung and decided to check out LG. BJs club had the two side by side. Samsung may have the brightest picture (pops at first glance) however looking closer the LGs picture was more real. The colors were more accurate. The more I looked the more I noticed. And when we took ours out of the box and turned it on it was exactly the same. I've seen high end plasma TV's and this is really close by my eye. Set up is so easy with the automatic set-up guide and built in Wi-Fi receiver it makes it fun!

I love my new Smart TV. I got it at a great price. It has a really clear picture & I love the smart feature. Easy to set up and use.

Went to Best Buy actually looking to buy a different brand of TV set. We found that the LG 50 LF 6100 had the better picture quality we were looking for. The sales person was very helpful in helping us choose the right TV set. It has all the features we wanted and the actual set up was easy.

The picture is great. The setup was easy and it is mighty nice having a smart TV with Netflix as an application.

Well worth money spent. It blows away some of the Samsung models with similar features and not only that, this LG model for 2015 cost less with superb image quality. I walked in to best buy to compare because searching and reading specs through the web just doesn't cut it. Best decision ever and I recommend anyone who is shopping to go to the store and just stare at the floor models. You can tell the difference as long as you don't compare it to the 4k TVs on display because those ones are on a higher signal output. What sold me about this LG TV is the low energy cost savings, image quality, easy controls and the price. If you enjoy watching under the "soap opera effect," this TV can do it all. Amazing!

What a difference this TV is in comparison to the smaller screen it replaced. While our aim was to get a larger screen, the bonus was the clarity of the picture. It makes what you are watching seem to have dimensions. And, we love having upgraded to a smart TV so we can watch Netflix, etc.

I've owned other LG products over the years (LED TV, PC monitor) that I've liked and was pleased to find this LG LED Smart TV in the screen size and with the specs I wanted. Early days, but so far I'm very pleased with the purchase. Easy to set up. I use an antenna for broadcast reception and channels programmed quickly and completely.
