I went into the store to browse while my brother went to review a CD player for his vehicle. I ended up purchasing this addition to our family because I wanted to test out how smart it was. I decided to keep it, it has a lot to offer and inexpensive. I can review youtude videos in rotation, watch Netflix all in great views. I love the extent of color and the wide screen especially for any sports games I watch.

I would rate this a 4.5 if possible. Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about this product. The size of the TV fits perfectly in the corner of my apartment. The picture quality is great, the TV volume is good enough for me and I love the fact that it comes with the Netflix and Youtube applications. I use those applications so much that I no longer watch regular TV

Excellent picture; lightweight and easy to hang; user friendly

We bought the LG - 50" Class (49.5" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - Smart - HDTV - Black. It has more features than we will ever used. The color and features are only limited to the cable provider you choose. The TV was a very wise choice, our cable provider well that's another story.

Great picture. Good aps with the smart option. Easy to set up.

I expect no less from LG. I don't agree with the placement of the speakers (bottom of TV) but i never use the TV speakers anyways because of me having a surround sound system. The WiFi connection is glitchy, but the placement of the AP may be a contributing factor. All in all, great picture, feature rich, and great specs for a Family TV. With 120Hz refresh rate, its not bad for gaming either.

I replaced my 10-year-old Samsung flat screen with this LG of the same 50" size. The picture is far better and I love the Smart TV aspect. I had to get a wireless Echo to get the right reception but it was worth it because of Netflix, etc. that I can now watch.

Awesome tv, great picture quality! Only downside is the remote is huge and is hard to use with Internet.. But easy to get around with LG app on tablet. Or aftermarket keyboard/mouse.. But overall this tv is great and would definately recommend!

This was an early Christmas gift for my son. He was tired of playing games and watching a 19 inch TV. This TV, besides being much larger, has a beautiful picture and vivid color. It gives a fantastic picture even without cable. I hope he enjoys it for many years to come. Now I wish I had one for me.

TV is easy to set up and easy to use. Very good to excellent picture quality, except when viewed at greater than 45 degree angle. Reasonable sound for most TV shows, but movies might need additional equipment for best experience.

needed to upgrade from an old tv, found this one as an open box item. works great, great picture. it doesn't come with the LG smart remote though, you have to buy that separately.

I have been a fan of LG products since we bought our first LG TV 4 years ago. We decided to go to a larger screen and bought this. I like everything about it but, the sound is not as good when you use a video service such as Netflix or Vudu. With the cable tv we have the sound was great , but with the video services we could barely hear if people were talking low. We had a sound bar and hooked that up to the TV and that helped tremendously. I should also say that I'm an older gentleman and hard of hearing but even the grandchildren had a hard time hearing until the sound bar.

Had a 32 in Samsung series 550 for the last 7 years...passed away. Went online to research more modern models; after which did a look-see at the local Best Buy. Decided to go w/a 40+ inch... Found the Sony 48" a solid contender, however it was a tad over budget; noticed the LG (@ 50") for the same price and bit the bullet. The sales person noted that the one displayed was no longer stocked (2014 model) so he gave me the option to take the 2015 for the same price at a $100 deduction, nice! Simple set up; easy to follow source inputs etc. For the price, solid product. One minor issue: the ambient black light can be a tad fussy in regard to the changing room light source. No worries...$600 out the door; no complaints.

This was our first tv purchase in a while and though picture is nice-we never imagined having to turn the volume up to above 60 for some movies just so we could hear. We are not being forced to add surround sound to our living room because if not this purchase will not be enjoyable. The speakers must be tiny.

This TV is so amazing! The picture and sound qualities are amazing. The smart TV feature is so nice to have, it elimiates the need for Roku, Fire Stick, Chrome Stick, and other things like that. I love this TV and would recommend it to all of my friends!!!

This t.v. powers up quickly compared to my past Vizio t.v.. It has great picture with a sport mode feature - great for Packer games. I am not tech. savvy, so I appreciate the easy set-up, and easy transition to my blu-ray and dvd players.

This is the best television that I have ever bought great color great picture and the smart options are great between my Samsung and this lg this has to be my favorite

I liked the picture on this TV when shopping at Best Buy and bought it when it was on sale a month later. It was a simple set up out of the box and it does have that great picture mounted on our family room's wall.

Picture quality is great has plenty of features to work with only draw back is it only has digital out put no analog so you have to have an adapter to make it work with any analog and you also have to have a splitter to connect more than one component
