This TV doesn’t exist

I like my old television much better 16 years ago

Defective line of tvs

Excellent Smart TV for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I retired several years ago after representing LG in the military exchanges for all branches of the US Military so I was quite familiar with the product. I upgraded from my old JVC 42" which still looks great but is not a smart TV. This has enough bells and whistles to make most folks happy with their purchase. The picture quality is excellent, sound is very good and the menu system is not hard to follow. But be aware that if you're not used to this type of TV it may take a day or so to get acquainted with the features, apps, settings that are loaded into this set. My problem is now that between the satellite, the OTA antenna I connected and the built in "LG Channels" I have a daily dilemma of what to watch! The Magic Remote is much improved over the early generation that was just rolled out when I retired. All in all a very complete package at an excellent price. Did I say I was pleased?

Great Entry Level-ish 4K TV.

I've been a fan of LG TVs for a while now and this is one of the best I've bought as far as a living room TV. Right size, great picture, great sound. Love using the WebOS smart TV system, and the magic remote is cool. I'd recommend it as a good starting point for a modern HD TV that's great but not too expensive.

Have not shut it off in a year

We sit 8' from it and speaker not very loud at 100 so we use bigger bluetooth speakers. Smart view screen share with my mobile phone network is a plus. 4k security DVR through the HDMI only problem is my bluetooth speaker remote changes the tv channel.. the 50"is longer available so getting a 43" for my office. I give bad reviews but this Un7300 is ok.

LG vs Samsung
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Regarding the LG 50 inch 7 Series 50UN7300PUF, let’s list the pros and cons. Cons first: Right out to the box, the plastic stands were thin and wobbly (not a problem is you’re hanging it on the wall). For set-up the remote is a point and click variety, which is not easy to master. Connecting to my wifi router didn’t work, so I had to set up an extender, and even then it keep telling me it was unable to access the set up pages for all the apps it offers (Netflix, Youtube, etc.). It did connect to my Xfinity account seamlessly, but despite trying all the suggested codes, it set would not connect to my Xfinity remote for anything but power. But the biggest problem with this set is the picture. It has many picture settings for various viewing conditions, but I found myself having to switch settings every time I changed to a different channel. Contrast was bad on all the settings and sub-settings I tried, and the side view is just unacceptable. But what really made me regret buying this turkey was a large, oval, white halo, in the center of the screen, that bleed through whenever there was a dark scene. Again, all the different settings did not make it go away. Whether this was a defect or just bad technology, I don’t know because I returned the set to Best Buy (great return policy) and picked up a Samsung 50 inch UN50TU8000FXZA for the same price. Couldn’t be happier with the Samsung - great picture, easy set-up, operation and remote function. The LG was new for 2020, and maybe that’s the problem - never buy a first model issue. Oh, the pros of the LG - the sound quality through the set was pretty good, but you still need a sound bar.

Worst purchase ever!!!!

Won't stay connected to my home network for more than 2 days so I have to re-enter my password. Terrible user interface. Constant connection problem with my new LG sound bar...which I am also returning! Do not even want to discus the issues with the new LG bluray player...it is going back too. WILL NOT EVER BUY LG PRODUCT'S AGAIN!!!
