This TV is a great value! Screen looks awesome; Smart TV features are easy to use. The biggest flaw I have with it is that you'll still want your normal cable remote as this one is missing some features, e.g. a fast forward/rewind button and a usable TV guide (takes forever to load, always starts at the first channel). Still recommended!

I needed a new TV for the spare room - my main objective was to have a set that would easily lend itself to listening with headphones and had good visual quality. While this set has perfectly fine visual quality it's not a Wow. I also bought the set for the new Filmmaker Mode which to me turns out to be a bust - all it does is bring down the brightness and colors a few notches so that the picture is not as unnaturally bright as some movies look on Blu Ray. I do like having several options to consider in the Picture settings, and find there is a difference at different times of day in the bright room. Although the TV is bluetooth capable, I still needed a transmitter to get the sound to my bluetooth headphones. Buying a sound bar turned out to be something of a bust as I am not able to stream sound bar content to the headphones and can only stream from the TV speakers. The TV speakers are adequate but the sound bar is an improvement when listening without headphones. The Magic Remote is annoying, especially for a technophobe like me. It moves faster than my brain and fingers do.

Picture outstanding. Remote is great especially with the pointer cursor feature. Hook up simple. Sound is good without sound bar.

This is my first TV in a long time, love how easy it was to set up and use. The picture is clear and volume options are great!

I was looking for a fairly inexpensive smart TV from a good brand and when this was available for under $300, I jumped on it. I was initially looking at a 43 inch model from Samsung (which is the brand I usually go with) and I saw this 50 inch model from LG. The sound quality is surprisingly good. This holds up well in bright rooms with a clear picture - black levels aren't as amazing as you might see in a more expensive product, but don't greatly detract form performance. The webOS interface is user-friendly and navigation is a breeze. I recommend.

The quality of the picture is excellent. It was easy to set up and hook up to my cable.

It was easy to setup with wifi channels. Nice picture, no complaints so far. No gaming used so far. Remote relatively easy to use.

We have a large bedroom and wanted a bigger tv for it. Easy to set up and operate. Sound was good so did not need a sound bar.

I'm not a picture expert, so don't read too much into the word "excellent" if you require a detailed review, but I can definitely tell the difference in image quality between this TV and another name-brand TV that I purchased only two years ago. The framerate and image quality are great. There are a ton of options and bonuses that come with the TV, such as voice control and various channel options.

It's a good tv. Easy set up, works great. If you like a better picture quality you need an OLED OR QLED.

Bigger than anticipated when I received it. A good problem to have. Made room for it and it was a steal for the price.
