This UHD TV is an amazing addition to my den. Featuring UHD with HDR, this display is easily the best looking television in the home. It's far superior to our UHD HDR 50" Samsung and UHD HDR 75" Sharp sets. I've paired this model with an Xbox One S for UHD HDR Bluray playback and a PS4 Pro for gaming. Everything plays beautifully and the features are nearly unmatched. This LG unit offers the best Smart TV capabilities of any of my TVs, the "Magic Remote" control is intuitive and works well. The TV features a decent iPhone/Adroid app which can serve as an additional remote control and in integrated second screen "casting" feature to duplicate phone/tablet video playback. Plus, this Best Buy "Magnolia" grade display is one of the last units on the market that features integrated 3D support (no new 2017 models include 3D). I cannot recommend this display highly enough!

Did lots of research and finally chose this one over the Samsung and Sony tv's of same caliber. I think the picture is better than the Sony and better sound over the Samsung but picture close to the same. This is my 2nd Lg tv in the last 10 yrs and the first one is still going strong it's a 47inch 5000 series

It has all the latest tech, HDR, Dolby Vision, 3d and 4k and the price is very reasonable. I am still finding out new things, but so far I am very pleased.

This is the first "smart t.v." for me. I am impressed beyond all expectations. I chose the LG over other brands after looking and shopping around for quite a while. For me,LG always had the best quality picture of any set I had experienced.

Out of the box the picture looked terrible, but once I calibrated the picture settings it looks really good. This tv really shines with streaming and gaming. Netflix and Amazon look excellent. Even the HD content on Netflix looks close to 4k. And I was blown away by the way the xbox one looks on this tv. Absolutely incredible. TV is easy to setup and after a few hours calibrating to the view that suits your viewing needs, you will be impressed.

One of the last 3D TVs you'll find. And one of the only ones I've seen that are 3D and 4K. A few years later, the TV is still working pretty good. Flickers every once in awhile and I have to turn it off then on again, but other than that, it works pretty good.

I had purchased another lower quality LG tv and it kept shutting off on me while watching tv. I decided to spend the extra money and get the better quality option. This went above and beyond my expectation. Beautiful picture and sound!

I checked with Consumer Reports before shopping. I also got some advice from the Bose store manager where I purchased my TV sound bar. He told me to go to a Best Buy with a "Magnolia Store" in it. I paid a bit more and believe I got a LOT MORE quality. This is an awesome TV. Smart features allow me to stream everything I need right now. I don't access any TV stations. I'm primarily a Movie watcher. The colors are crisp and clear. The basic sound, without the Bose system, is actually quite good. With the Bose sound bar -- WOW!

Little breakdown of what you're getting. A 2016 model, 55 inches, 4K tv and 3D! (Passive) I am writing this on December 8th 2016. Bought it the week before and paid 1100. Minus taxes of course. For all the features you're getting, It's truly worth it. The tv performs outstanding. Still tweaking it a bit, but that's just to perfect the picture. Give this tv a chance. You'll see its worth every penny.

I usually buy Samsung TVs, but this TV literally had everything I was looking for which I didn't know I could find all-in-one TV. Over two years later, it's still going strong.

our Samsung TV broke and we bought this one to replace it the passive 3D glasses are better then the active. Had friends over to watch a 3D movie and they were blown away.

If you are a movie watcher this is the Tv for you. I still can't believe the beautiful colors that this Tv brings. I never have bought a Lg Tv before but I am glad I did.

I thought 3d was dead but not after I got this TV. This TV is out of this world. The HDR graphics are crisp and the 3d is very life like. The people look like they are inside of the TV. If you buy this TV you will believe in 3d again. This is the best tv on the market.

Really enjoying my new LG TV. Great picture and surprisingly good sound for a flat panel. Still learning some of the tricks on how to tweak the picture. Overall very happy so far with the TV.

I love everything about my TV. The way it looks, the picture quality, the sound quality, and the cool remote control that you could talk to...

This is a great 4K, 3D television. The remote is easy to use, colors and picture clarity are excellent.

A bit on the heavy side but that plays to its advantage because you don't want it being bumped off. Very good picture and easy interface

Well, I must say that I've been really loyal LG user for about 5 years -- in 2011 I switched from Samsung to LG and, since then, never questioned its quality and convenience of use... We just bought a new house and I decided to buy a new TV as well :) In total, this is the 4th unit (all LGs) that I had to return/replace within the last month - there was one 55UH7700 with 1mm black spot right in the center of the screen - unit exchanged; there was 55UH7700 that BestBuy didn't want to adjust price due to Memorial day sale (that one didn't have any issues) - returned it for 55UH8500... Now let's get back to the reviewed TV -- picture quality is amazing! 4K! 3D function! IPS display! BUT it's a defective unit again!!! -- I'm just giving up on have it packed again (they're not lightweight category) and exchange for another one... This one has a stuck or dead pixel in the upper right corner and a small chip in the upper left edge of the screen (it's a glass material). I don't know what has happened to the build process but the quality tests have to be done more thoroughly before LG releases them to the stores. Both of the problems are not noticeable unless someone points to them and then, if you seen it you can't unseen it :(

I love this tv! Great color. Volume sucks but I purchased a LG surround system & even just a regular show sounds normal now

This TV has great colors and almost looks like your watching through a window instead of a t.v. the only negatives were the lack of a digital tuner and the 3D did not function even close to that of the Sony X930D. If you dont care about 3d and you have cable or satelite this is probably the best t.v. you can get in this price range.
