I have older models C1 and C4 in my home and thought the B series underperformed compared to the C and G class but this B 5 is amazing. I really don’t see a difference in the performance compared to my other oleds. Must buy!

I replaced an older HDR LCD from Samsung and couldn't be happier with this B5 OLED, mostly. Image quality, superb, HDR performance (in my application), also superb. Audio performance, I was surprised how good it sounded for TV speakers. However, it does come with caveats.
First, do not use this TV in a well-lit room, or one that has significant daylight intrusion, you will be disappointed. I expected to place this TV in a bedroom with decent daylight control, and it is suitable for the brightness that this TV provides.
Also, the remote. It was a bit of a learning curve to use the magic Remote, but now I prefer it. It's on-screen cursor allows me to get to whatever I want without clicking continuously around the app I'm using, game changer!
In a nutshell, this TV performs well and is a delight to use, as long as your room is not bright.

Outstanding OLED replacement for a failed QNED. Better quality picture in a room with very bright sunlight. Transaction handled with Best Buy Geek Squad replacement program

Great picture. Sound is decent for TV. Still much better with a soundbar but is tolerable without (not like my last TV). Only compliants 1) the TV assisting setup speech was like the chimpmunks (now you know my age). Easily turned-off/adjusted 2) the default country in setup was not US and it made finding streaming services harder than it should have been

They told the truth about having a good pitchure in a dark room. The remote isn’t exactly fun to get used to. The pitchure for the most part really doesn’t make the tv a great value. Its a good tv just didn’t give me the performance that i eas hopping for. In all honesty the tv i replaced it with had just as good of a picture for half the cost. This tv has lots of features for the average video game enthusiast. Just not what i was hopping for.

Purchased on Deal of the Day. Good decision. The picture is excellent as well as the sound. Easy to set up. Used the AI settings for picture and sound and so far, very satisfied, definitely recommend.

Openbox but everything was there, the tv looks amazing and the oled are so crisp when playing videogames 4k 120hz, also its a great streaming tv it looks so amazing when using youtube and netflix, its an all around supermachine very balanced in my opinion, it can also support BT controllers and have some built in Apps for streaming games like luna, xbox just havent test myself because i use console and stream videos and shows, dont really need the streaming games part. The sound is very good i believe it has dolby atmos and its pretty loud, brightness is decent but not as bright as an Led tv.

The TV works great, I had purchased one a few months ago and bought it back because the picture was blurry. After this one I am glad I did! The first one was a Samsung and it must have been defective. Happy with LG TV though.

This is an excellent television. I highly recommend an OLED TV! We have the G2 in our main viewing area, and I was still blown away by the B5 55” for our secondary viewing area. Images are bright, sharp and the TV is quick. The remote is intuitive and interfaces are easy to navigate. I wish the LG OS was less obnoxious, but the TV itself is great.
