Don’t buy these TV. It worked well for 4 months exactly. Then suddenly the TV powered on and off every second. The BestBuy return period had ended, but the TV came with a 1-yr. LG warranty. Spent hours trying to get through on LG customer support since the TV was still under warranty. Unable to connect to anyone on the phone support (“Press 1 for TVs,” then given the option to pick from different models of Air Conditioners...), so tried to file a service request online (then got an error that “This model is Swap unit.”); tried again to request service requesting to swap unit...and got the same error; then tried to go through the LG support Chatbot...took you through the whole process again, then no button to submit. Obviously, LG has no intention of standing behind their products. We were so frustrated we went and bought a Samsung TV to replace this piece of junk...

Overall it’s an ok tv. Was very disappointed that WiFi stopped working on it after just 18 months. Kind of an issue if you’re a cord cutter like me and stream everything. Thankfully my router was located near this TV in my home so I could use the Ethernet port to connect as that still worked fine. Still very disappointed as I paid $399.99

I will never buy another LG again. The tv is no longer smart. It cannot connect to wifi or be hard wired. Which is a known issue. It loses sound off and on. I have to reset the tv. Now the tv is flash lines with a pink background.

I purchased this TV with Black Friday pricing. Starting right at the start, the TV was easy to unbox. I already had a TV having on a wall bracket so next I had to take that down, add the bracket to the new one, and hang it. No problems at all. Realized how light this new TV is compared to the older one! Connecting all the cables was easy and everything just worked out of the box. Setup and customization is also easy and all options are self explanatory. Setup is easy to get to and each option has good help features. Love that Netflix and Amazon prime are accessible through the TV remote. I use Apple TV for everything but it is good to have direct access to those two apps directly from the TV remote. I also like the remote app that I use on my iPhone to control the TV. Now to picture quality. The picture quality is awesome! No matter whether I'm watching a movie or a soccer game - that is where most of my viewing tv is consumed. - I love the depth and colors that are on the screen. Fantastic quality. Love it. Sound is also extremely good. I do have mine hooked up to a Sonos system and can't praise that enough. But prior to that I tested out the TV audio and it is very good. I highly recommend this TV and am very pleased with my purchase. Buying from Best Buy online was also extremely easy. It was Black Friday, so the store was crazy busy when we picked up, but the process was straight forward.

I did a lot of research before purchasing a TV and even with all that research ended up buying the wrong TV from Sams Club that was supposedly a SHARP that turned out to be a knock off HiSense TV and in the end I ended up returning to Sams Club in anger. So just a heads up on things like that. Do your research because when it comes to TVs you never know what is under the hood. And I started this review with this fact to help other consumers avoid that mistake and to point out that it was a much better buying experience when purchasing my TV through Best Buy. After that I decided to purchase this TV from Best Buy, I noticed an immediate difference between this TV and the SHARP TV I returned both in picture quality and with the smart TV abilities on it. The WEBOS smart TV software built into the TV will do well for most, but coming from an apple TV user I found the WebOS interface some what limiting. As an example with Apple TV I am able to cast anything form my iphone to the TV. But in WebOs your are limited to whatever is in your photos and videos on your phone. There is also a lack of many of the apps I was used to having access to on my Apple TV that I would have liked to see on this smart TV like CW as an example. And for a smart TV the WebOS system is not bad but it's no Apple TV and the only reason I am using the WebOs vs my Apple TV is that I have the older Apple TV that is not 4K. And so to enjoy 4k and HD quality content through streaming providers like Netflix I have to use the Netflix app included in the TV's smart TV app line up until I can fork over money for an Apple TV 4k. It is also notable to mention that PLEX is an available app on this TV which I use a lot. And was presently surprised to see that it detected my HomeRun device that streams my digital antenna signals thought my home network and streams those free antenna channels with much more reliability than going through the PLEX app like I used to with the Apple TV. I was also able to connect the TV to my Amazon Echo device and can now instruct Alexa verbally to turn my tv off among other commands which I am finding useful. The remote is okay, and for this model does not come with the "Magic Remote" that allows you to use a pointer and scroll wheel to navigate around with your TV. However, I did find that the LG Remote app for your smartphone does include this feature but is not as cool as having the "Magic remote" that higher end models provide. I also looked into if I could upgrade to the better remote and it os not possible with this model to do so. As for the actual picture and sound quality, I found so many reviews about deeper blacks and refresh rates and all of that. And in most cases more is better, but when I have this TV hung on my wall and am watching 4k content or anything for that matter it is amazing looking and am very satisfied with what I see. The TV also has a few preset picture settings that you can adjust and you can even adjust the motion settings to help reduce that awful "Soap Opera Effect" that I do not like and for this TV it is not that noticeable, especially after making some custom tweaks to some of the preset picture settings. The TV also has a decent wide viewing angle. I can not comment on the sound much since I pass my audio to a soundbar, but at least there is an ARC output on the TV that I was able to connect to my ARC compatible soundbar which allows me to seamlessly control the soundbar through my TV. However, I did notice some audio sync issues, especially on Netflix but was able to adjust the audio sync in the TV audio configuration. So if your looking for a decent and affordable large 4k HDTV, in my opinion you can not go wrong with this one!

This is our first Smart TV and we were very happy with ease of the step by step set up. The picture quality is a huge upgrade for us from our 10+ year old television and it is taking some time to get used to the larger size and better picture display. We were worried about the weight but this is surprisingly lighter than our old television and fits perfectly on our stand. For the price that we paid, we feel that we received an outstanding value on this television.

Nice clear picture; easy set up, but feet are wobbly; had to secure to wall; smart enough to synch itself to my tablet, firestick, and cable remote.

Overall, I do love the tv. It has good sound, picture quality and it was a good price. The main thing I don't like, and it's quite frustrating is that it keeps disconnecting from the internet. There are times where I have to unplug the tv for a few minutes and plugging it back in for the wifi to work. Sometimes that doesn't even work and I have to accept defeat and wait until the tv decides it wants to connect again. This started happening after 3 months of owning it. Other small things that are annoying is that the buttons on the remote get stuck or don't register you selecting them, and that some of the popular apps like HBO is not available on this TV.

Excellent value and pictures, got a lot of apps and live TV channel. Good Buy. Works ver well untill now.

This 55 inch LG tv was a great purchase. It replaced an eleven year old LG. The color is excellent and the sound quality is great. It was easy to set up and adjustments are very simple. It connected to the wifi with no problem and functions flawlessly. I would highly recommend this tv. I ordered this on black Friday and it was delivered within 3 days with best buy delivery and they were very courteous and carful with my tv.

Honestly surprised by the sound on this TV! It's pretty great. However a sound bar will still always provide the better bass and sound so I switch between both. Great picture, no issues with picture quality from the side. The legs are CHEAP. They are flimsy. I wish there was another stand or base I could purchase because I have a crazy cat named Harley Quinn who likes to run around my TV when I am not home lol BUT so far, all is well! I really do love this TV and am happy I purchased it over a Samsung because my 32 inch LG from 6 years ago still works like new so fingers crossed this one does the same! ONLY annoyance is I now have to call customer care to figure out why the apps won't work. Netflix worked the first day but I never tried the other apps. Now none will connect and the TV says that it's not connected to the network even though it very much is and says it's connected lol PLEASE NOTE: The legs are very far apart. You need to make sure you have a TV stand that is essentially the same length as the TV.

Love how the colors look on the screen very vivid and bright, sound is good as well Light weight and easy to carry Simple to install, wifi does work on this tv I read a few reviews about the quality of the picture and wifi issues, but nothing so far ! You cannot beat the price, I’ve had an old LG tv for over ten years and needed an upgrade. If you are thinking of buying just do it !

Received my LG tv day after Christmas. Surprised how light it was and was able to hang it on the wall by myself. Ran thru the startup menu efficiently and in no time we had HDTV with indoor antenna. This is a vacation where it was used. Minutes later I connected to my hotspot on my phone and we watched Amazon tv that night. Great picture easy setup for the money.

We bought this TV on a Black Friday special and it's been a great TV for us. It's super lightweight and easy to use/ mount/ set up. It has good picture quality and OK sound quality. We added a sound bar to make up for that. Overall, it was a deal we couldn't pass up and it's been a great value for that.

You get what you pay for. Good overall picture. The 4K aspect, I am still trying to determine the difference. Need a legitimate 4K source to view. Everything else is good. the remote is easy and has direct buttons to Prime and Netflix. Sound is adequate. Lite weight, and easy to move around. The two stands the TV sit on are a little flimsy. Viewing angles can improve. Watching from an angle, there is a difference in the color of the picture.

This TV is perfect for my situation. I wanted a tv that worked well with HD. Most of my tv viewing is whatever comes over cable. The picture is very good. It is a smart tv that has more capability than I will ever need. But for the good price it's nice to know that if I ever needed the smart features, I have it.

Love this TV!!! Set up is extremely easy, visual and sound quality are fantastic. I don't have cable so I cannot attest to that, but the smart features work extremely well. It is a the perfect size. The only complaint is that the plug is a little short.

Beautiful picture, easy to use, plenty of connections for different devices. Easy to customize the names of your inputs to switch seamlessly between movie, cable, and game console. (Great for kids and babysitters!) It also has frequent updates to the firmware and steaming options - out of the box it had Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon….but it has since added AppleTV and others. Highly recommend! One small issue - the WiFi wires can sometimes loosen inside the TV, which may cause you to lose connection to your network. This happened on the smaller version of this model that I have. That would then require you to unscrew part of the back panel and literally jiggle them a bit to get them back in working order. It took me a YouTube video and 3 minutes of work. Worth it!

Bought this to replace older LG 55' tv in family room, wall mounted. Easy setup, user friendly on first run thru setup menu. Good picture and can be adjusted with many different settings, a big plus. Picture is very good, colors accurate. Also, bought on sale then a week later was marked down an additional $100.00, took receipt to Best Buy and they returned the difference, no hassle at all, making it even a sweet deal
