Bought this TV for our bedroom on 4/14/20. Our previous TV was not "smart" and since we are cutting the cord, we wanted the "smarts" integrated into the TV. I personally prefer the LG webOS interface over Roku, Vizio, etc.... I also like the LG Magic Remote (with it's capabilities to do "Google" searches and control home automation). I was considering a more expensive TCL model, but am happy I chose this over the TCL. Does it have some issues probably only a videophile would notice? Sure, but I am very happy with it for our use.

Great smart tv can’t complain at all great picture and love the smart remote

We purchased this LG model to replace an older LG tv we purchased through my husband's former employer, The Home Depot's employee discount purchasing online catalog program back around 2008- 2010. That former LG tv never gave us any issues whatsoever throughout the years & was one of the first internet acccessible enabled browser ready tvs. It recently died via going "black screen". Therefore, we didn't hesitate to buy another LG. This tv has more options than we could ever need or use. The quality is impeccable for the price we paid. The screen quality settings preference will vary from person-to-person as some folks might not like the soap opera HD quality. I myself could care less to see the open pores, pimples or childhood bike wreck scars on the face of the local tv news anchor...thanks but no thanks. My favorite feature: the magic remote! It's kind of like converting the tv into a desktop computer. The sound quality is pretty impressive without a sound bar but of course that will vary greatly from person to person depending on personal tastes & size of the room the tv is stationed in. I appreciate the number ports available but always am in favor of having more. Our Roku works flawlessly w/ the LG as does Amazon Prime & the rest of the built-in apps. Overall, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this LG branded tv.

Replaced my old Samsung LED. Speakers suck but I never expect much TV speakers. Picture quality is good and set up was easy. The remote was works well but ended up using a universal remote since we have other devices. Online ordering and instore pick up was quick and easy. Great value for the price. So glad we upgraded 4K!

Picture is overall wonderful, though when setting some picture smoothing, there are occasionally artifacts showing in some areas of the pictures. Remote is amazing, as is the handling of the menu and apps. Having Prime, Youtube, Netflix, as well as the LG Channels is really convenient. Sound is also great for a TV, though going to see how much better a soundbar is.

My wife and I agreed to buy this as our Christmas gift to each other and we absolutely love it. We upgraded from a 43" to this 55" and the picture/sound quality is awesome. Love the fact that it has internet access, and love the fact that it has all of our favorite streaming apps built in like Netflix, Hulu and YouTube TV. Cannot go wrong with this purchase.

I’d had my LCD tv since 2007 and decided it was time for a change. The LG smart 4K TV is an excellent product and easy to use. Actually I wondered why I’d waited so long as the technology was mature enough to suggest that a monkey could navigate around this puppy. It also has Alexa so if you choose to voice control your schedules etc then it’s there on a plate. LG also has its own TV channels for you to browse and use— it’s ok but nothing to write home about. However overall the TV is excellent value.

The main reason I go with the LG is that I have a antenna on the roof and once you scan for the channels even if you change the position and then rotate the antenna again you don't have to rescan so what you do on most TVs give the good picture the only thing that I wasn't real Keen on with this TV is the remote has a mouse like button and getting the mouse to go and hover over what you wanted to click on was not really easy seems to float a bit but the picture was good color was nice

Great Buy at the price point, HDR Television with all the bells and whistles.......Smart TV is easy to navigate, transition from Apps is smooth........Purchased the TV to play my PS 4 on, no disappointments there HDR is stunning, sound is excellent as well.....Would highly recommend this TV in the market to make a purchase.

Purchased this on Jan 29th 2020 and this exceeded my expectations the features are endless and the screen is so much better than my 5 yr old LG the screen is fluid and had allot of settings to make it so crisp and clear throughout with the dark's and motion all seems very fluid and crisp . The smart platform is so fast and responsive to all the commands and FYI do ALL of the updates for the tv and this may do more than one update ! The magic remote is so helpful with navigating the tv's webos system the cursor can be modified to your needs and all the settings are real easy to navigate and get a solid feedback. I mounted this on a pedestal mount and the inputs on the back are located in a better spot so the mount does not interfere with your cables . All in all i am so happy that i bought this not to mention i got it on sale and got the 2 yr geeksqaud protection plan. Now the sound i cant make a review due to i use a soundbar and that was easy to setup with the tv connection guide so you can control it with the tv's remote . All i can say is the better the signal you send to the tv the better the picture so play around with different devices . I RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE .

This TV replaced an old 42" plasma TV. Plasma technology in the past produced better images than LCD but there has been a lot of progress in the LCD technology in the last ten to twelve years. We have had this TV for more than a year now and like it a lot. It has an excellent picture and is easy to use.

Love this TV! The color is so vivid! My previous TV was a Visio. It was at least 10 years old and was going strong. I purchased this LG as an upgrade in size. In those 10+ years, technology has come very far. I say that because as my previous TV was simply a plug-I and go, this LG was a bit more complicated. So very happy that Best Buy delivered it and set it up! The extra fee was well worth it to me! Very satisfied with my purchase and the service I received.

We love our new LG television. The picture is so sharp and clear that it felt like the action was taking place in our den. The remote has a feature I've never experienced; a cursor. You point the remote wherever you want on the screen and press a button to select. It is taking a bit to get use to it, but I think it will be a fun feature.

clear picture, easy set-up, easy to use features, decent price

Just got it and it was worth every penny. This is a keeper. The biggest concern I had was how our huge library of 720 and 1080 stuff was going to look, and the upsampling on this blows me away. You literally can hardly tell a good 720/1080 video if it's 4k or not, it's that good at it. My tips if you get it: Download the phone app because it's got all the remote functions but much easier to setup options and things using it. When attaching the feet, be careful because I thought they were on tight, then standing it up I heard them snick into locked position, and I had to put it on some towels again and tighten the screws again and now they're seated perfect. If it's going on a table, count that the feet placement will be almost as wide as the TV as they are out almost to the edges. I'm off to explore and see if apps can be sideloaded (like Kodi) and the spare remotes are available online, just make sure it's 2019 version since this is such a new model at the time of this writing. I just plugged in the Firetv cube we had, haven't had time to explore all the streaming stuff, and the channel guide looks really fun. If you have a big library of non-4k stuff, this is the one to get since everything looks so sharp and clear whether it's 4k or not.

Normally I stick with Samsung products, but when I saw the quality of the pictures and movie display in the store I had to have this TV for my den! Definitely worth the price and it comes with so many other Smart features that are nice to have.

Really good deal for Black Friday. The 7300 series is worth the small amount of extra money, the picture processing vastly improves the quality over the 6000 series. LGs webos is simple and faster and less buggy than Samsung or a Druid based TVs any day of the week. My C9 oled has a way better picture. But for $399 this is awesome

Had to replace my older tv and with the pandemic in place I could not go & compare tv s in store, So online I picked this one and the quality in the picture is great and the price was reasonably affordable. and bundling the soundbar also saved money.I have had this about a month now and so far I am very happy with it.
