Can't go back
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a LG OLED C7 and bought this C8 for the bedroom. I exchanged a LED TV and paid a few hundred bucks more for the C8. Reason?!!! It's worth the extra couple hundred cause I could not go back once I had an OLED. Viewing colors and brightness with true blacks at any viewing angle is just AMAZING. The alpha processor is also excellent. Yes, I noticed the difference from the C7. C7 is like a nice 4 door sedan that can split lanes. C8 is like a 2 door sports car that hauls.

Hands down, the best TV money can buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have gone through a lot of premium TVs in the past couple of years, trying to find just the right one. Having come from some of the best LED LCDs with local dimming from Sony and Vizio, there is nothing that can beat the pixel level accuracy of an OLED. Sure, they can't get as bright as an LED but the true perfect blacks ensure the contrast will always be superior. The new A9 processor is a big upgrade from the a7 as well (I had a B7A from last year for a short time last year).

TV End Game 2018
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You can't really go wrong with the C8 or E8 from LG, these are the best value in OLED and it shows in the picture and sound. I have no complaints about this TV, it is honestly the best I've ever seen and has been a great addition to the home theater space. You can go wrong with TV in the 55, 65 inch range. Do do your homework about OLED TV's though, burn in is a thing and so is pixel fatigue, make sure to get the warranty if you go OLED. But otherwise amazing TV!

Insane picture quality
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried to find the right time and got this TV when it was on a decent sale and was still hesitant about paying that much. After having a 4K computer monitor and seeing friends' non-OLED 4K TVs was skeptical about how big of a difference LG's OLED would make. Honestly, it's worth every penny. From watching movies and videos to editing my own pictures on it - it's incredible. Beware: watching anything else after buying this TV will seem like a waste of time.

Amazing value. Outstanding picture
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from a 2015 4k UHD sony. The LG OLED tv surpasses it in almost every way. Put this in a dark room and you will truly appreciate how black the blacks are! It is hard to go back to anything else. Made this last season of GoT watchable. I've had an UHD blu ray player for a while but never bought a movie for it. This tv made me a believer. Remote takes some getting used to. Limited apps but I couldnt ask for a better picture.

Fantastic TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I have looked at every review I could find. It seems like if you use the TV the correct way that you won't have any screen burn-in. I had a plasma TV for a long time and I never had an issue and as long as you don't watch the same channel all the time and you change programs pretty often you should never have this problem. I am very very happy with his TV and the sound is also amazing as well as the picture.

The best!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beautiful tv, excellent picture quality, you can connect headphones or a sound bar by bluetooth, you can talk to Google from the remote control and the interface to interact with the settings and applications is very good, the pointer and Carol as a remote control tool eliminates having to rely on mouse or sometimes app, really better program than Android TV, 55 inches is perfect for the bedroom

Excellent OLED Picture Quality!!
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tv still outshines some of the brand new sets on the market as far as picture quality goes. Great for any type of supported media you can throw at it. Comes well calibrated out of the box in Movie or ISF Picture modes. Endless picture settings, customization and calibration.. Great for gaming, live sports, Dolby and HDR movies, and anything else you can throw at it.

One Pic. One Mode.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review."It's not the television," I was told by Yaniel, the uber-friendly Best Buy Associate, "it's the cable company." So, I dutifully returned my Magnolia 55" OLED television and traded it in for a $500 less Samsung 55" QLED televison. The difference? It wasn't as flat as the OLED. QLED "is the latest and greatest invention from Samsung, the number one leader in televison," he assured me. "It has more pixels and the same exact saturation of colors," he kept tallking as I was signing away, thrilled I was saving so much money. "I have this one myself. I always keep it in Movie Mode." He was referring to the fact that I was so disappointed by the more expensive Magnolia, I had just purchased- and was returning - because of the picture. This television is easier to maneuver. The remote control is sleek and nice. And you have five picture modes: Vivid, Standard, Normal, Movie - which I almost always use, and then Expert - which you can adjust yourself. The problem really is the cable company. And it's true. It really does not deliver hi-def 1080p on every channel. So am constantly changing the picture mode. Movie covers the most flaws in almost every picture. One time, I got creative, and used the expert setting. But what works on one channel, does not work on every channel. They do have the paid apps like NFLX, HULU, VUDU, AMAZON PRIME + FANDANGO that deliver the 4k picture, that really makes this television look like a digitized movie screen. But, until your cable company can deliver that for every channel - I suggest you don't rush out and buy a QLED yet. Although the price was nice, and the Best Buy Geek Squad repair guys - not third party repair guys - are the most knowledgable people to have install it. My television needs a sound-bar and sub-woofer to bring the picture to life. I went on the low-end, according to BB, and bought a Sonos with a sub-woofer. But was told, there are better and more expensive. In total, my system with the television, mounting, sound bar plus sub-woofer costs $3300.00 with installation. I had it mounted on the wall. No complaints. Am very, very content.

Absolutely stunning picture quality!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Image is great, especially the blacks. The features are great too, and you can disable the ones you don’t want. Fine adjustments to image parameters are available to suit your tastes and the type of content you are watching, and there are third party and LG sources of information about how to adjust them. 3+ months of use so far with no complaints.

Super Definition of Colors
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After some research, I headed to BB to pick up this TV. It is better than I could imagine. Makes games look great with the color just popping off the screen. Even better is how is looks with the darker scenes in moves. My other TV can barely show the night scenes well where this TV excels in the black/dark scenes. Even on non-4K streaming, it looks so much better.

Excellent Purchase!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had been searching and returning MANY TVs, and none compare to this TV. OLED is worth the extra you pay for. Got an excellent deal on this one and they are no where to be found for that price now. Awesome job LG!!! Do NOT hesitate if you're trying to decide. It will not disappoint. P.S. Love the magic remote!!! Easy for kids to control too.

Fantastic Picture Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Read a lot of reviews on this TV before running out and purchasing it, but the sale on it currently was too good to pass up. The picture quality is absolutely amazing. Netflix 4k content looks magnificent. My Xbox One X works. This TV has HDR and supported games look great. OLED panels are great and this will be the first of many OLED TVs I will buy.

Love this TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I love everything about it!! Love the smart remote and love the picture, especially when playing 4k dvds. My ps4 looks great and it’s a perfect size for my bedroom. The colors are fantastic. I am glad I purchased it. I do use surround sound or just the sound bar with it. It has a lot of functions I haven’t explored them all yet.

LG Oled
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has to be the clearest TV I have owned, to date. I have yet to utilize all the features of the TV, however, I am working my way through them. The color this TV produces is rich and vibrant no matter what input source I am using. I have not had any technical issues with the television and will update this post in the event I do.

Excellent, sound bar unnecessary
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely content and happy with this television, which I waited to purchase until on sale at a decent price. While I don't regret buying an LG SK10Y sound bar in a bundle, I must say the TV speakers are great. If you don't already have a sound bar, I don't think you're missing much. As for the picture, usage and burn-in concerns: I have not had ANY issue. I also am also the only person using the television and don't keep it on all day. My usage is about 40 percent movies, 30 percent video games and 30 percent TV, such as sports on ESPN. I'd say I average five to six hours with the TV on per day, keep the OLED light between 27 and 50, depending on the mode. If you're single, I highly recommend this television. The pixel-level light detail, upscaling in many respects (HBO Go looks 4K), Dolby Vision HDR and dark scene detail is beautiful. If you have kids, I'd consider an LED/LCD for brightness cartoons and likely static images. Know your usage, check out YouTube video reviewers (listening to what they say more than what you see on a compressed screen) and go check out the TVs yourself. Do that, and you'll be happy with your TV, too.

Gorgeous
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is gorgeous tv. The colors are Bright and vivid and the blacks are dark and inky. After 3 weeks of owning I don’t have any complaints besides web os. It’s really nice and works well on a tv but the lack of app support compared to android tv is it’s biggest downfall.
