This TV is something you have to witness in person. It is by far the most amazing picture I have ever seen. Dolby vision is absolutely incredible and it makes older movies look newer. If you’re going to get a new TV, please, give OLED a chance. I don’t think you’ll regret it. It is a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for.

I love my new 4k 46" OLED screen. Image quality is truly spectacular. I have lots of other LCD displays but none of them look this good. Got an LG Sound bar and 4k DVD to round it out... The only drawback I find is that the OLED screens are just not as bright as LCDs so plan to use it in a darkened room... If you keep the light level down you can see a lot more detail on the black areas on the screen. the other issue I have is of course the price but I'm sure prices will continue to come down over time. Otherwise, 5 stars.

I wanted an LG OLED for awhile and finally pulled the trigger. It does not disappoint. Blacker than night blacks. Super sharp picture even on non 4K content. Up scaling is very good. Nice exterior design also. Not for everyone because of the price. But if you can justify it or take advantage of 0% financing go for it.

So there are amazing 4k tvs, amazing oled tvs, and then this thing. The blacks are perfect, the motion is so smooth, the HDR is amazing especially for gaming. I generally avoid smart tv interfaces, and use a apple TV instead, but the interface on this one isn't bad at all. Nothing but good things to say about this TV. .

The picture on this OLED is outstanding. We have FIBRE services, and the combination of the two provides a crystal clear, deep presentation. Sound quality is OK, so went with a three way sound bar system. Remote is easy to operate and personal settings only takes a few minutes to set.

The biggest purchase 2018, this TV is one for the ages. OLED screens may not be as bright as Qled, but if you want to watch movies with deep contrast, sharp imaging, and incredible detail, you need this tv. And tha blacks, boi the blacks in this tv make you feel like youre staring into my ex's soul.

Best OLED picture and still perfect. Easy to setup and use. The remote could be better but overall worth the price. Much better than my Samsung 55' OLED since it's starting to fail after having it for about 2 years. My LG 55" OLED still going strong.

Amazing TV! The image is excellent. The contrast and reproduction of darker colors is something a regular LED cannot match. The design itself is impressive and the frame is incredibly thin. After this I will not go back to a regular LED set again.

The picture is amazing! The tv was easy to mount on the wall and we love the picture. Also the interface with the remote is great. The only negative is we cannot get the remote to sync with our Sonos Playbar. The sound plays through the Sonos but can not control the volume with the LG remote.

We have had this TV for about a month. I am not going to get all techy on this review, because I really don't know all the relevant tech jargon. What I will tell you is that I have watched a lot of action movies 4K, blu-ray, and normal DVDs, football, and regular TV through an antenna. And all the pictures have been amazing. I moved up from a 46" Sony Bravia which I kept and is still a good TV with a good quality picture. But this 55" OLED's picture - there is no comparison. The darker scenes are darker, the overall picture is clear and crisp (this is my highly technical term) and when added to the Klipsch speakers, Denon 7 channel receiver and Sony 4K player put out a theatre quality experience. I made sure I got the C version with the higher processor and because of the sound system I did not move up to the E version. Overall, I would give it a 10 out of 5; it is fun to rewatch movies I thought were good on the Bravia (also hooked up to a Klipsch and Denon system with a Ps3 player).

Best TV I could find for the money

I spent a week obsessed with finding the right TV for our Family. I decided on the OLED TV due to its Awesome blacks and vivid colors, the picture was amazing. My family room is wide and not very long so viewing angles were important and the OLEDs were definitely the best for this. I looked at the few brands that were available and decided that LG and Sony were the best that I could find. I could not justify an extra $1000 for the Sony though. I decided on the "C" model because of the updated processor and its features. I also purchased an Onkyo TX-NR676 up-scaling 4K pass through receiver for both Audio and video, because I have so many analog, and digital devices to include. I wall mounted my TV so this reduced the number of wires that I needed to run to the TV. 4K broadcasts are coming shortly so I upgraded all cabling as well. Be aware that currently the only way to watch True 4K HD TV is by streaming so a good router or CAT7 cable would be recommended, but oh-boy what a difference that makes.

The LG C8 is all I expected and more. The picture and sound are great and I love the accessibility to all the apps. And the voice controlled remote is so easy to use and convenient. Great choice at recommendation of salesman.

I have never seen anything like this TV before. It not only has an amazing picture..and it not only makes 4K content look ridiculously Great, but it also does an incredible job of upscaling 1080p content. This also has Great sound with the Dolby ATMOS sound system built in and it has to be the Smartest, Smart TV available today. I really enjoy having Google Assistant built into the TV and also being able to give the TV voice commands to do things like control Home automation devices around the house and also ask the TV any question that pops into my head. If you have the opportunity to get this TV do not hesitate....it is by far the most amazing TV I have ever seen.

Tv is amazing. I usually calibrate my tv's but not this one. Preset settings are great. I love how it auto detects hdr and Dolby vision. Highly recommend using vudu for movies which is preinstalled. Speakers have really good sound, so much so that I didn't feel the need to use my soundbar

Returned a Vizio P series for this tv and I couldn’t be happier! This is by far the best picture in a tv I have ever seen. Smooth motion, deep blacks and crystal clear 4K. The smart WebOS on the tv is amazing and easy to navigate. If you can afford it, this is the one to go for!

I've done my homework before buying this tv and it met more than what I expected not only does it have the next generation HDR (HDR VISION) the perfect black is a plus as well you'll noticed it more in Netflix. When you play video games ps4 or xbox you'll notice the difference.

The C8 is an amazing tv. The picture quality is top notch and is the a lot better the the Sony 4k non hdr tv it replaced in our living room. I finally found the tv that should have been the replacement to my old Panasonic Vierra Plasma which is still in use and a great tv.
