I purchased this tv from a best buy showroom 3 days ago. Now, before I bought it i did my research. There are differences between plasma, lcd, and led-lcd televisions. Do your research before buying a tv to find out what size and type would be best suited for you! now for a short list of pros and cons Pros - # of HDMI inputs (3) -screen quality -menu's are extremely user friendly (I never had to open the instruction manual) -Speakers/sound (for a flatscreen) -Price (grabbed it on sale for $1100 plus the 3 year financing options.) -screen thickness (this is my first plasma, but i was amazed to find out it was literally only 2' thick at its deepest from front to back.) CONS -screen is very glossy. ( if you have any light sources that are going to be infront of the tv and can reflect they could cause a pretty big distraction.) Now there are a few main points im going to go review in depth. Now the first thing that caught my eye in the showroom when I was comparing tv's in the 50"-60" range was the number of hdmi inputs. When I was looking at similarly priced/sized models (mostly samsung) I realized that most only had 2 hdmi inputs. This was an important factor for me because I have 2 consoles (360 & PS3) and an hd cable box i need inputs for because i don't want to deal with splitters or a switch box. The one issue i did have is that 2/3 of the hdmi inputs are off the left had side of the screen so I needed 90 degree angle adapters for the hdmi cables to make it look nice. - sound Next, I was not expecting amazing sound quality from a flat screen. After getting to watch/hear a few movies I was VERY impressed from the sound compared to my 42' and 32'. I don't usually turn up the tv LOUD. For regular viewing and even movies at normal levels think that it is more than adequate. However, for deeper bass and a more immersive experience i recommend a surround sound system of some sort. -Screen Now for the important part, the screen! I have my tv in my basement so glare from light sources is not a problem for me. If you are someone that has a window or any type of lamp I can imagine it getting very annoying. However if you can get it in a dark area it is amazing! *A note I wanted to make, while I was in the show room i noticed that this screen looked a bit more "dim" then the other screens. I asked an associate to turn of the power saving feature on it to see if it brightened up it didn't seem to change much so it had me worried. Once I got home and set it up you can see the difference between every power save setting. If your screen seems darker then it should go into the menu and change the power setting to off or low, it will make a world of a difference. -Games Now while I was reading reviews I didn't notice many gamers leaving reviews. I figured I'd add my input here. I have played games and watched movies on it for the last 3 days. I have experienced no burn in as of yet (*knock on wood*). this includes games like Skyrim, bf3, sports and other games with stack health/scores that don't move for hours at a time. ( i know plasmas are supposedly "fixed" now where they aren't supposed to suffer from burn in, but it still scares me! as a side note, they do have a "picture mode" for gaming, I am not sure if it does much. I had my screen calibrated by my cousin and I play games, watch movies, and watch tv through it and havent noticed any difference between switching them back and forth. Last for this I have not experienced any input lag, so if that was an issue for you don't worry. Overall I have enjoyed this tv a ton! I cant peel myself away from it. I highly recommend it. For the price and quality I do not think that you can do any better. I know I've only had it a short amount of time, but I will return in a few months and update anything I feel needs to be. Hope this helps someone make a choice!

Overall so far I love the tv for the price you cant beat it! I looked every where and for what you get with this tv I feel I got a great buy!

I love my equipment but would like to be able to use my Comcast volume remote control instead of having to use the sound bar remote control.

We hooked up Blue-ray HD DVD player with internet hooks up to internet just fine. Again with out spending lots of money. Great clear Picture

Bought this TV to replace a 42". Love the bigger screen. Easy to put the stand on and setup. Did not need a wall mount.

Overall a great TV for the price. I can't complain about anything so far. If you don't want all the bells and whistles but do want a nice 60" TV with a good picture and sound then this TV is it.

Looks as good as more expensive models. Audio is very good also.

Tv was on sale and a great price. The picture is clear and colors are bright. The sound isn't the best, but hooked up a LG sound bar and it sounds great now.

Great product by LG, it was very easy to set up. dark room is perfect for this TV

this tv is huge, the picture is great. plenty of ports for all my accessories.
