Great picture and very good 3D. Lots of user settings for tweaking the right picture for night/day/3D watching. Does not have HDMI 2 which will limit ultra 4k resolution whenever true 4k content becomes really available. Very nice picture upscaling for Blu-ray, 4k Blu-ray. Blu-rays do look better and the 4k Blu-rays are even better. Not true 4k however. The Black levels could be better but the biggest problem for those who use home theater receivers will be lip sync issues. You'll have to use one that has audio delay features to calibrate the audio sync. I'm enjoying this TV but its not with out some issues.

Although 4K is not yet available, the LG 4K TV upgrades the picture internally to be vastly better than what is currently transmitted. Motion is fluid and does not break up, blacks are black, especially enhancing the realism of night and "outer space" shots. The passive 3D is simple to use and is awesome in sharpness and depth of view from a couple of feet in front of the screen to the horizon.

Excellent quality and easy to install! The picture quality is amazing and its performance. It would be better if the price is more affordable but you get what you pay for.

We love everything about this TV. The clarity is amazing. The colors are amazing. The 3D is amazing. Streaming Netflix is ... just like any other device, but it's nice to have it built right into the TV and not have to worry about connecting another device.

Upgraded from an old rear projection there is an unbelievable improvement in picture quality.

Easy setup and picture quality superb. Only had for a month but the best 4k TV.

Smaller than what I had but better picture and clear

So I have been looking at tv's for 5 years and upgradding over that time with all 4 tv's in my home. I am a plasma lover thru and thru. I studdied the pictures on the Sony 4k, the Sharp 4k, LG 4k and the Samsung 4k. The LG to me has the Best Color, the Best Processing (Hz), the most realistic 3D (Passive), & The best over all Look! I powered the tv on for the first time in my home and at first impression I HATED the remote, trying to adjust to the motion to get thru the setup process was not my favorite part of the tv at all. Once adjusting to the remote I made it thru the setup which was very easy. The Picture needed to be fine tuned which I was able to do using the picture wizard. After complete setup me and my husband just looked at it and went WOW. All we had it on was an HD movie on comcast and we were amazed. Next we went to grab a bluray movie and kicked that in. Again an AMAZING picture. 3D looked REAL. This tv purchase is definatly worth every penny and If I had to do it again I would choose this same tv over and over again. The only flaw I have is the placement of the ir sensor. It is right in the middle where I wanted to keep my center channel for my surround sound. This LG is a must buy!

This television did not actually play 4K movies! NO

I seen the 4K picture in store and it looked awesome. But when I got the TV home and seen the screen in regular 1080 resolution I regretted it immediately. My friend bought the Samsung 65" 1080P 240hz the same day for $2500 cheaper and his picture and features are a lot better in my mind. I actually think my TV I replaced with this (samsung 58" plasma) had a better picture also. Disappointed!
