The TV is amazing. The picture quality and sound are excellent. The set up was a breeze & the remote works like a computer mouse & is super easy to use. It looks great & everyone in the family enjoys watching their favorite shows on it like travel and cooking shows, old & new movies and sports. Ever little detail seems to pop out of the screen. The only suggestion I might make is to change the on-screen digital keyboard to the traditional qwerty format from the alphabetical order format since we are more used to finding the letters on the former one. But this is a personal preference of mine which some people may not agree with. Overall I love the TV.

I purchased this tv after returning the sony 55 4k 3d tv (wasnt big enough). This picture doesnt compare to sonys. I didnt purchase the sony 65 because it was a bit out of my price range. The price was just right for me on this one. Hits against this Tv; the motion blur and lag while watching sports is pretty bad. Also it is hard to get the perfect sharpness, color, or brightness without compromising other picture aspects. The good for this tv; the features on this TV are probably the best out of the bunch. It converts anything into 3d, has glasses with the tv, and sound is pretty good (sony sound not so great).

I reviewed 4 different UHD tv's before deciding on the LG. It truly was the right decision for me. Picture, 3D and ease of maneuvering around the settings and getting familiar with the set are all excellent and easy to use.

Excellent TV, bright colors, easy to use and the 3D works great! Sound is not bad, ranks up there with Sony and Samsung. Although Sony & Samsung have better picture I got this one due to my big 3D collection which using passive 3D is way better.

We watched our first 3d tv movie, glasses and all. It was like being in the cinema again. We noticed very little blur. The size fits our space nicely. The sound is nice, the colors vivid.

It took a while to get the colors adjusted correctly but that has been the only thing that took any effort at all. We use a Plex media server and were at first wondering why we couldn't find a decent App for this TV like Samgsung has. But we soon found that The SmartShare App that comes with the TV had already found the media server and was ready to go. Overall setup took only a couple minutes - mainly just entering in our wireless password. The magic remote takes a little getting used to but is not horrible to use.

Considered more expensive products from Samsung and Sony (I've had both) but decided to go the LG route for the first time. Got some picture setting advice online (Google it). Going thru settings a was easy enough and necessary. After adjustment I'm pleased with the overall picture. Clear, detailed, decent color sat without overdoing, no motion issues watching sports...and have not yet seen actual 4k material yet. Only limited use of smart features so far (Pandora, Netflix, YouTube) but all worked flawlessly. Wireless connection to my secured router was cake. Replaced a 4 yr old 55in Sony smart HD LCD, which still has a good picture. This LG is better in all respects.

I bought this TV about a month ago, and since then I've been watching 2 to 3 movies daily as well as sports. Picture quality looks great and the sound from the TV speakers is pretty decent. At the time I purchased the TV I was lucky enough to also purchase the Samsung UBD-K8500 Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray player. So 4K movie watching looks awesome. The other features like the Wi-Fi and 3-D are very good as well.

We have been discussing a new TV for some time now. Finally after waiting for so long, this TV was on display at the store and compared to other brands, this TV at its price was an easy decision. LG TV have always been a favorite of mine due to quality, features and price. Every person has those special things they look for in anew TV, the three above are what I look for and I hate spending $100s extra on another brand when i get the same options on the LG.

In 1998, I built my theater with a JVC projector & a 6'x8' screen. I just replaced it with the 65UF8500. I used an 18" tall kitchen bench rather than a tv stand, so it would fit under the center channel speaker mounted in the wall. Now I get a great picture with my IPTV CABLE SERVICE, and 3D movies look spectacular! The picture setup is very easy, with great results. Passive 3D is so much nicer than shutter glasses. (The main reason I didn't just go with a new projector.) Now, to setup my Harmony remote for one touch entertainment, and my wife will be smiling too!

This is my dream TV. It has everything you could want in a TV--4k means FUTURE PROOF! Passive 3D means cheap glasses and a clean image. Smart means instant access to YouTube and Web Browsing. The sound out of the Harmon/Kardon speaker design is tremendous. I'd give this TV a 6/5 if I could.
One and only Con from my perspective - No real 4k content yet. (but it's coming and it's not enough for a 4/5 in my opinion)

I read a lot of reviews before I bought this tv. I would have liked to get the oled tv but could not afford. But this tv was better than I expected. I watch a lot of sports and the clairity is awesome.have not used the 3D yet but the 4K is great! The remote is so easy to use I think it is the best feature over the other tv's in this class.

I never thought I would get an LG tv. All the reviews online made it clear that the new Samsung 4K TV's were the ones to go with. While there's not a lot of 4K content to see now, I shoot 4K footage and I wanted to view my work in 4K. The guys at Best Buy let me bring my Macbook Pro into the store and connect various tv's to view the 4K raw footage in Final Cut Pro. The HDMI port on my Macbook Pro only plays 4K at 24fps, but that's what I shoot in so that's fine. Surprisingly, this model has an IPS display that makes 4K video look absolutely amazing. Some of the other TV's actually increased the color so much the image lost detail. This TV let me see every pixel of my footage. Even the employees were blown away.

The 65" LG 4K Ultra HD TV offers superb picture quality, great sound quality, and intuitive controls in a stylish and thin footprint. The TV picture rivals the quality and richness of the top of the line TV's costing twice as much. We had ours installed by Best Buy which took all the hassle out of set up. The other night I watched the movie 'Patton'. Even though I have seen it many times before, with this TV it was like watching it for the first time.

Trading up from an HD Panasonic. This picture is phenomenal, crystal clear, beautiful colors, and the 3D effects are incredible. Smart remote that you can talk too works great. Even gaming is better with my XBOX One. It definitely can use some help with a Sound Bar, and that will be my next purchase.

Just got this tv and it looked great in the store cause the video playing was a 4K video on a data stick. Once I got it home and watched it in a dark room with dark seens on the screen the white edge lighting was so bright it didn't even look black. these is to much light on the top left corner and bottom right corner and it very annoying in a dark viewing setting or a dark seen is on screen. I am tempted to return this tv for the Sony 4K in which I just returned that one in as the screen broke in 2 months. Posted a few pics with black borders so you can see the light spots coming through. With that said it is tough to recommend this tv.

Been looking for 3 years to change my 2007 Sony 52" TV. Glad I waited for 4k. In space than 52" took is this nearly rimless 65" Great remote and love the 3D - only brand that now does Passive which is much better than Active 3D which can give headaches. Remote is easy to use and voice recognition is very good. Bargain at $1899 now
