tV and installation are amazing. The only thing I don't like which is preventing 5 stars is how an external sound bar hooks to the tv. It connects fine, but the LG remote cannot operate the volume on the sound bar. And when sound bar volume is adjusted, it will not show on the tv with the same interactive volume picture which is used with its own speakers. All in all, a minor annoyance, but having to use 2 remotes defeats one of the selling points of the all in one remote. Hopefully as a smart tv, this can get adjusted through an update in the future. Picture quality is amazing.

Passive 3D looks fairly sharp. NFL games look clear. Simple screen adjustments to change brightness for different settings if desired (sports, cinematic, standard, vibrant, etc) . no limitation of 3D viewers, you just need a pair of glasses for each viewer (TV comes with 2 pairs) average cost of an extra pair is approximately $10 at best buy. I've rated the product 5 star for the value. There appear to be better 4K 3D pictures but they cost more. I limited my budget at $2k for the TV and I'm very pleased with the product. If money is no concern there are better TV's, but if your budget is similar to mine around $2k and you enjoy 3D, this TV is an excellent option. 65" is a nice size. You should note that 4K content is new and does not seem to be available yet so while TV and movies look great you may not see much of a quality difference if you currently have a 1080p HD TV. Be prepared to upgrade the rest of your components if you desire the best picture and run through a receiver (as when blue ray was new up scaling requires components that are capable of up scaling).

This TV surpassed our expectations. Our only concern was how sensitive it was to mount/handle our LG. It was worth the money!! The picture quality and speakers are excellent. The magic remote is awesome.

This is my first LG product. Been a Sharp/Panasonic/Sony gal for over 50 years, but the price and store demo sold me on this TV. I've only had this TV for a little over one month now and I have to say that I'm very impressed. The color is excellent - vivid and crisp - I haven't noticed any of the "bright light" corners that some reviewers have. The remote is a mouse - which I find a little disconcerting because you have to have a steady hand and go through layers to get somewhere - being old-fashioned I'd prefer pushing buttons. You can customize the picture, sound, etc. in numerous ways and it has enough connections so that I hooked up my cable box, sound bar, CD changer, VCR/DVD recorder, Roku, and 3D BluRay player without any problem. Only caveat is that there are only 3 HDMI connections, whereas Sony and Panasonic have 4. I still don't understand why they only do one HDMI/Arc connection on TVs today - wish there were two. This TV has truly brought the theater experience to my living room and I'm enjoying it very much. A couple of notes: Customer Service: Delivery people either took or tossed my manual, so I had to contact LG on 2 occasions after 8 PM on the weekend. Both times I got a "live" person that was pleasant, stayed on the line with me (one had to call Verizon FIOS to get their end to help) and they both actually fixed my problem and answered all of my questions. This is VERY impressive to say the least. Regarding the stand: The front stand is an oblong bar centered in the middle and is the main support, but it has a spindly leg in the back on each end too. These spindly legs that some TVs use at the ends are not nearly as sturdy as a good, wide center support. The end stick supports make me nervous because the TV can wobble. I've put off purchases before because of this. Sound: The TV itself as good sound in tone/richness and can be adjusted so it will amplify voices for the hard of hearing - nice touch. Only needed the sound bar for the surround effect. I'm still learning about this TV, but I don't regret trying LG, in fact, I'm loving it.

This is a great TV. It only comes with two passive 3D glasses but they're cheap to buy elsewhere. I think the 3D quality is really good and I've watched plenty of 4K content thanks to Netflix and Amazon Instant Video. The picture is great but I really like the stock speakers that are in the TV. It's definitely pricey, but if you can't find this for under $2000, I would recommend it if your in the market for it. Can't wait til 4K BluRay players and discs are out.

I own many TVs ranging from Plasmas to UHD 4Ks. This TV is hands down the best I've bought for the price The Magic Remote is a must have, so if you're purchasing an LG TV, make sure you're getting the magic remote, or you will be missing out. Awesome quick access to apps and WiFi direct for connecting your PC or Mac to provide presentations for business purposes. I'd buy two more of these for my business and home if I had the space.

tv is more than expected, had a few hicups trying to use some of the functions but a quick stop at best buy and the personnel demonstrated how to access and use the function. tv still has functions i don't understand (the users guide and operating instructions are in a tv app) the only drawback of the set is it needed a paper operating manual as i forget how to use the function between reading the app and returning to actual operation

Love the joy stick function, good picture quality, just wish colors were a tad more rich like our Panasonic plasma TV, enjoy watching 3d movies on it
