I love this TV. It has a wonderful picture. I Love that no matter where you sit in our living room the TV picture is still great. We had a Vizio before we bought this TV and if you moved away from the center of the TV the picture quality got worse, but not with this TV.

I purchased one of these TV's around a month ago. At first it was great. Amazing color, great viewing angles. These are things to be expected for an IPS panel from LG because they are the IPS panel experts. In any case, the screen had serious backlight bleed. More than I would have expected. This I would have lived with because of the nature of IPS panels, but the thing that caused my insanity was the "dirty screen effect" that most large LCD panels have. This TV had immense amount of artifacts. The real kicker is that I got a replacement TV during my 30 day return policy. The second TV had the identical problems. Now, I'm a bit of picky person with great eyesight. Most folks probably wouldn't have picked out the issues, but I noticed many non uniformities on scenes with fast moving solid color backgrounds. Hockey games were the worst. It was just too much to bear in my honest opinion. In any case, I exchanged this second LG 65UF8500 for the Samsung 65JU7100 and I am thoroughly satisfied with the uniformity of the Samsung. It uses direct backlighting array technology vs edge lit like the LG. The backlight diffuses much more evenly on the Samsung. I would have liked to have an IPS LG, but picture quality trumped the viewing angles here. I do miss the WebOS that's for sure.

This is my second LG smart tv (list my first one to a fire). Beautiful colors. Enjoy the new smart content features-easier to navigate & quicker to get to apps. 3D is awesome. Very impressive. I wished it came with the anti tip straps but no big deal.

This television is so clear and the picture so detailed that we had to get used to it b/c we felt like the people on television were in the room with us! The detail is amazing. We are in the "older consumer group", but we are now pros with the smart remote. It was an amazingly easy setup to get all the components (dvd, satellite etc.) up and running with our new incredible television.

Compared to the cost of other brands, this TV was a great deal when I purchased it. The only reason I rated it as 4 stars instead of 5 is due to some backlight bleeding in darker scenes in both shows and movies. Had I not read previous reviews about this issue, I may not have even noticed it, but it doesn't interfere with my overall enjoyment of the product. If a 4.8 rating was available, that would be a more accurate assessment. Great staff at the store and installers as well!

My wife and I were looking to upgrade our toshiba lcd. We looked all over and it came down to the Samsung and this Lg. We decided to go with the Lg because of all it's features and really great picture quality. So far, we absolutely love this tv. Love the built in Netflix and its speed.

This is a great TV and I have had good luck with LG products my 50 inch set is 10 years old and still working good. I have to say though that 4K is too Hyped as very few programs are available in 4K can only hope this will change in time but what few movies are out in 4K they charge you almost double the Digital price.

This was my first large TV purchase and think it was a great buy. The picture quality is excellent and the speakers that come on the set are awesome compared to other TVs I've owned. You don't need a sound bar to be able to enjoy this TV.

Our older large screen TV was unfixable, did some research and really like the reviews on the LG 9500. it has been installed only a couple days, but we are very impressed.

Tv is great, easy to use and quality is beyond amazing.

Was not sure of purchasing such a large television however this appears to be a good investment. The cspablities are great. We added a blue Ray player and direct tv and that had made the viewing that much more enjoyable. The 3D feature complete with glasses has been great fun.

4K TV with 3D for an excellent price. Vibrant color in a room with lots of ambient light with little glare.
