This TV has a wonderful picture and sound. The 4K content on Netflix also looks really good on this TV.

Not easy to update OS and apps. Apps like YouTube frequently hang which is very frustrating. I'd return it for a better option if I could.

I purchased this tv because it got good reviews online but I wasn't as impressd with the picture quality as I had planned. It was ok. Also, the remote with the scroll bar function was a little annoying.

After spending a lot of time not only reading the reviews but in the store asking questions, this was the one. The deciding factor for this over the comparable Sony or Samsung was the passive 3D glasses. That's it. I do not have any buyers remorse at all. Love this tv. The 3D is great. The picture is great. Blu rays look amazing. The magic remote is awesome. I'd definitely recommend.

Go to this website and use the Color settings for the LGUF8500. These settings are the same for the LGUF8600. http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/uf8500/settings When doing the White Balance, It needs to be done for POINT (high and low) and then Apply to all each time. Then for the IRE 5 thru 100 increments of 5. Apply to all after each IRE setting. It doesn't take long, although, it does look lengthy. Believe me, Your picture will look Great and have Accurate Color! Then do the Color management for Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow. Apply to all after each color setting. Now you are done. Enjoy! This T.V. does reflect a lot of light in a bright room, but it's still has a good enough picture for viewing. The Passive 3-D is Awesome! I'm using a Best Buy Samsung - BD-H6500/ZA - Streaming 4K Upscaling 3D Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Player. I have The Guardians of the Galaxy Steel pack and Marvels The Avengers. With 3-D, So Much More Movie Detail is Revealed! Awesome! It was like Watching a whole New Movie! I pass the sound thru my Denon AVR-S700W 7.2 surround sound receiver from Best Buy. My sub is a BIC Formula F-12 475 Watt sub from Best Buy also. And I use 7 Old School Pioneer Speakers to top it off. This set-up provides An Awesome, Immersive Viewing Experience. ***** 5 Star Setup! No Need for a Movie Theater.

I've had this 65UF8600 for 3 week now and love this tv very much for price point of this tv. I've own active glasses 3d tv and never like flickering it did when watching 3d movie. I've always get a major headache and have to rest my eyes. With passive glasses which is the same as what you wear at the theaters feel so much better on the eyes and not have battery to charge. Watching 3d movie is great just like what you would see in theaters but watching it in your own home. Even watching blu-ray movie or regular movie the picture on this tv is great! Another thing which is nice, is the expert setting mode you can adjust a variety of settings to make the look of the picture you like the best. You can check AVS forums for setting for this tv that people,have found to be good for them. The webOS is easy to navigate for netflix youtube and etc. and browsing the internet on this tv can be done as well. Overall this 65UF8600 is a great tv for the money since it's 65 inches, 4k, 240hz, passive 3d, great sound by harman kardon, and has a great picture. Yeah the 65in. LG Oled is nicer but spending 5 grand for it you might as well buy 2 of these tvs for your bedroom and living room for a lesser price.

Picked up this TV as an open box item & on clearance $900 in savings total, which made it and even greater deal. Beautiful picture, easy set up and worth the price!

Ask me again in five years. I can then tell you if it was a good decision.

Only downfall is not enough apps and I had to adjust the aspect ratio several different times but it's a great tv

except the 3D. Too much ghosting while watching 3D movies, returned my 1st tv and got a 2nd one (same model) and the ghosting was worst. Can't enjoy my 200+ 3D movies like this so I decided to get my refund. :( I'll just wait til next year to pick up a 4K 3D tv again hopefully they iron out the kinks

Bought this TV because the Samsung JS8500 was continually out of stock and I am very happy with it. Great picture, clarity and no motion blur. 3d blu rays look absolutely amazing. 4k content looks gorgeous. Web OS and the built in apps are user friendly and we'll designed. Only draw back is I would have liked to have had more settings to play with even though the set provides alot. Maybe more pre defined picture and motion settings but there is enough to customize your own. Great set. Definitely recommend.
