Customers are saying

Customers value the stunning picture quality, deep blacks, and excellent contrast of this 65" OLED TV, with many praising the impressive 3D capabilities. While some noted a higher price point and potential for motion blur, the ease of use and wide viewing angles were also frequently highlighted as positive aspects. The OLED technology received significant praise for its superior picture quality. Concerns regarding input lag and potential burn-in were also raised by a smaller number of users.

    A Fine TV

This TV is everything I hoped it would be. Excellent, clear, crisp, bright picture. Especially recommended for its viewing angle prowess. Every LED we looked at loses color, and fades when not viewed directly from center. This TV loses nothing even when viewed 10-15 feet to the side. Previously owned a plasma - this TV is closest thing to that. Primary seating is about 10-12 feet from screen - 65" works well for that distance.

Colors on this OLED tv are fantastic. The motion blur and judder are a problem. I tried a few recommended settings and it was slightly better but not clean enough for us. At this price the tv should be close to flawless. I will wait to see the new LG G series OLED and Panasonics new OLED if released in the USA.

Bought a LG Oled 65" 4K 3D TV in November and it is amazing!!! The picture is so defined and rich in color. Watching movies is like being at the movie theatre. Bought the upscaling 4K 3D blue ray player to upscale my blue ray movies to 4K and that has been great. So cool to watch them in 4K. Can't wait until the true 4K blue ray player comes out in the spring. No doubt I will be getting that too. This TV rocks!

Once you get used to OLED it gets hard to view any other TV. Inky dark blacks with plasma like motion paired with an OPPO 4k HDR player and the picture is stunning. One downside though is the near black banding that appears on some content. I hear LG fixed that with the newer models.. either way I really enjoy this TV and as a previous plasma fan, I very impressed by OLED technology..

It is all true! If you compare to the top sony and samsung you will see the difference. I've had it since 19 DEC and there are NO regrets. The TV makes everything look more life-like, amazing clarity! TV shows look like they were produced by a different production company or technology. Even older shows are upconverted and look better! The 3D is gorgeous, better than your local cinema. Do it!

The picture on this TV is amazing. I was going to buy the new 75" Sony x910 until I saw it sitting next to the LG. The true black that the LG oled TV's create is unmatched even by sony's HDR triluminos display. I am willing to step down to a 65 for the difference in picture. The magic remote is great and the network features are flawless. I have owned this TV for a little over a month.

I have been watching and waiting for OLED TVs to become more attainable. I kept reading reviews that the OLED technology provided nearly flawless blacks. This TV was installed in my basement theater where I could shut off all lights. Scene changes are striking as the TV completely disappears as it turns absolutely pitch-black - not gray, not kind of black. No bleeding of light at all - a very welcome change after years of LCD.

It reminded me of when I went from regular tv to HD 1080P. Not only is the picture quality awesome, the smart tv features are easy to use and worth it. Side views are clear at almost 180 degrees. The thin body makes it blend in the wall. Have to use the LG mount, but no need to have mice ability with the wide angle view.

    Best of the LCDs

Normal picture is as good as my Pioneer Plasma. Deep blacks and real life colors- not over saturation like others. Only issue with this LCD, and LCDs in general, no matter what the specs indicate on Motion, only a Plasma delivers an action scene with fast moving objects with no trailing picture. Golf balls , Olympic Games volleyballs, footballs on kickoffs, baseball pitched - all seem to have a trailing picture on LCDs. But the picture overall is great. My only other complaint is the sound. I bought an external LG sound system. Sound is wonderful but about every 10-12 days, I have to reset the connection onscreen manually to get the TV to recognize the sound system. Otherwise, no sound comes from the TV. The LG OLED is still a tremendous picture and stands ahead of the Samsung Ultra by leaps and bounds and just ahead of the Sony XBR. Plasma is still the King but the OLED is very close

Great Viewing Angle - Beautiful Picture - 65"

I originally purchased a Sony 850c and I really liked the Android operating system. I liked it but my husband hated it because he thought it was dull unless you were watching from the dead center. I tried the flagship Sony 950b but it really didn't seem any better than the 850c and its 100 lbs. There was nothing out there that had good viewing angles except OLED. I finally decided to try one and its beautiful. There is no bad viewing angle which is important for us. The blacks are the deepest I've seen on a tv. This makes the content appear vibrant. The operating system is just ok, I prefer the Android and Sony platform. But the picture is stupendous!

The picture is truly amazing. Especially with 4K content. OLED is definitely a major improvement over my 4 yr old Samsung LCD. Hung it on the wall with the LG specific mount. Turned off the soap opera effect, and connected to a Sonos Playbar. Super happy.

Upgraded from a Panasonic Plasma ZT65. The black levels reached on the ZT were amazing but once you gaze upon the OLED there is no substitute. My advice buy one NOW and sit back and be amazed. 4K content as well as 3D are added bonuses.

Picture quality, viewing angle, and contrast are just spectacular!! Bright OLED works well in even a brightly lit room. My one gripe--and this may be common to the technology--is that vertical viewing angle where 3D or Dual-play modes work is quite narrow. When mounted on a wall above perfect horizontal viewing angle, things don't work so well. However, placed on a stand directly at eye level both 3D modes are pretty effective.

After researching several TVs I went with the LG OLED and it didn't disappoint. The only issue I had was that the first one I received was defective (shut off and wouldn't turn on only after an hour of use) but after I exchanged it the new one is perfect and it's the best picture I've ever seen on a TV! Highly recommend

The picture is absolutely incredible with 4K content. Even Netflix looks amazing. And 1080p bluerays are lovely. But I came from a plasma tv which is superb at fast motion and has no problems with refresh rates. So I can notice some judder Which bothers me sometimes. But with the only technology available right now. Oleds are the best. Second to plasma in my opinion. But plasmas don't have the amazing resolution this does. If you can afford the price tag it's worth It.

TV was very easy to set up. Picture ,of course is outstanding. One of the features we use a lot is the ability of the TV to change any 2-d broadcast into a very acceptable 3-d viewing experience. The glasses are very light and very comfortable for both of us who each wear eyeglasses under the 3-d glasses.
