Customers are saying

Customers value the stunning picture quality, deep blacks, and excellent contrast of this 65" OLED TV, with many praising the impressive 3D capabilities. While some noted a higher price point and potential for motion blur, the ease of use and wide viewing angles were also frequently highlighted as positive aspects. The OLED technology received significant praise for its superior picture quality. Concerns regarding input lag and potential burn-in were also raised by a smaller number of users.

Nothing compares to the video quality of this TV. Infinite blacks, white whites and everything in between. Expensive but worth every penny as an early adopter.

I was so sad my my 10 year old plasma was stolen and I had to replace it. I went through two earlier LEDs which both had viewing angle problems for me and just did not deliver the wow moment I was hoping for. Until this LG OLED. It is simply fantastic and I smile every time it is on. So vivid and clear and it is everything I could have asked for. Had it a couple months now and am still excited about it. Yes it is expensive but boy does it deliver!

I have never paid so much for a TV. However, this was the one that everyone at my local store said had the best picture and color so I figured I would go for it because I watch blu-rays like nobody's business and wanted something that would work with my new 3D player. The colors are fantastic, and the black bars are perfect black on the top and bottom of the screen when viewing widescreen material. Sometimes darker shows which are supposed to be HD have grading issues in the shadows, but otherwise the image this TV puts out is incredible. The passive 3D is also really nice. I hate normal 3D TVs because the battery operated glasses drive me crazy, but the passive glasses are just like the ones you wear at the movie theater and don't give my eyes that worn out feeling. The 3D is obviously best on material that has been converted for it, but the real time 3D conversion the TV can produce on any moving image is impressive. Not perfect, especially on animated features, but live action sequences are pretty good. The artificial 3D does pop out a little less than pre-manufactured 3D, but it's very easy to turn on and off. The internet works well on the television, the image controls are endless, and again, the colors this screen produces are amazing. I'm not sure it's worth thousands of dollars, but I don't really regret getting it either.

    Best TV Ever-LG OLED

We purchased the LG OLED 4K 65" TV on sale. The salesperson was outstanding at the Auburn AL store. We had done a lot of research wanting to get a TV that would be outstanding for a long time and we got what we consider as the best available--across the board! We added a Sharp sound bar and Samsung BlueRay, 3D DVD player for a movie theater quality setup. Couldn't be happier with the sales support, the product, delivery, and setup.

    A Significant Upgrade For Me

I bought this TV to replace my 2006 Sony SXRD. The overall picture quality is significantly better. During most content, the black levels are amazing. With black in the picture, you cannot distinguish between the screen image and the black bezel. Some night scenes where the image is dark, but not black, seem to give the TV difficulty. The image gets pixelated as it tries to display the shadows. I have also seen the TV struggle with fast moving content. In the Jurassic World pterodactyl attack, the TV could not keep up with all of the flapping wings and those areas of the screen looked like streaming internet video from the mid-90s. The content was streaming on-demand so I'm not sure if the bit rate played a factor. The end credits of the same film caused the black area on the left and right sides of the scroll to display all sorts of red and green pixel noise instead of just black. I have seen some of the other issues mentioned to a degree. I notice some edge vignetting on the left and rights sides during all-white images. I also see a a slightly off white vertical band just off center. My wife doesn't see it. It is really only noticeable if I stare at those areas being critical of the image. If I just let myself view the content on screen, these issues are not noticed.

This FLAT OLED is all it's cracked up to be - just read any of the real reviews to find out more. There are no real downsides other than the price tag. NITS... - sound quality could be better but who really cares - reflective stand and bezel : SHOULD BE MATTE BLACK - remote lacks specific buttons (can't be used to teach a learning remote)

The options are amazing. I can use Netflix, Amazon, anything from the internet. Watching is like being there. LG, you did a great job on this television. If you buy this, you do not get a paper manual, it is digital on the TV. No one reads the books anyway. Pay a little extra and have Best Buy's geek squad hook everything up, it is worth the money. Get your wallet out, this isn't cheap.

I did a lot of research before buying the LG 65EF9500 OLED TV at B.B. This is the only one I found that is ready for the future. My only complaint is I lose track of what I'm watching because I am looking at all of the fine details in the scenes.

The colors are phenomenal. The clarity and crisp picture make this television a must have. It is pricey. Once you see the picture, you will be at peace with the price. Now if the cable/satellite companies will provide more programming to make full use of with this television's 4K capabilities, we will really feel good about this purchase.

I returned an LG 65UF9500 because it could not produce a 3d picture without a lot of ghosting. Got this TV. Had to bite the bullet because it is not cheap but at this moment is time it's the best. The 2D picture is fantastic. When you are dealing with 3D it takes your breath away. Thanks to Best Buy 24 mo financing it's mine.

This new OLED technology was invented in the Philadelphia area and LG is using it to give us an incredible picture. Deepest Blacks out there. Better than my Samsung Plasma. Regular viewing almost seems like you could reach out and touch the people onscreen. The 240 motion rate does it . Highly recommend, extra $$ worth it.

I debated choosing the most expensive 65 inch on the showroom floor. In the end, I chose the LG OLED and it was worth every penny. The picture is crystal clear and the navigation is simple. I dont have speakers yet but the built in speakers on the tv are much better than most. If it can work for your budget, go for it!

We weren't actually looking for this model when we went in the store to purchase a new TV. The salesman did a great job of showing us the features of the different brands and we chose the LG because of the brilliant picture. The installers did a great job and we couldn't be happier with the TV!

I did a lot of research before dropping this kind of money on a tv. After reading reviews/write ups on the 65"LG and seeing them in person at BB, I made the purchase. It has lived up to my expectations and is by far the best picture I have ever seen. If you want the best, this is it.
